- We've had this premium Aqua-Vu underwater camera for a while now but we got our hands on a much cheaper underwater camera from a brand who sells on Amazon. How do they compare, which is the best value and will the Amazon version even work!? Only one way to find out which one works better for fishing, get them under the water and test them out.

Ever used an underwater camera?
Never used an underwater camera but this video makes me want one.
Late comment but my dad and I use the Aquavu 715c, so their cheapest one. It works great. Clear water i can put it 2-3 feet from the hook and murky water I put it close and can usually still see the hook. Really helped a lot and simpler than a flasher. Only thing I think a flasher has over a camer is full water column coverage and they're better in murky water.

@@adamfeldberg9521 was debating if I should do a camera or a flasher or both myself. The lake I fish is usually pretty clear in winter. The camera looks more fun.
First time back on the ice since I was in my 20s this past few weeks. Having a blast. My local lake stocked trout around Christmas and I'm jigging them rainbows through the ice. Think I'm going to invest in a 2 man hut so my lady will go with me.
I love your guys excitement when pulling the fish in. Great day on the ice. I'm still on the hunt for the tacos this year.

Good stuff, gents!! Fun fishing, good product testing with worthwhile, frank, observations on what you get for your money. Paul’s idea about cross-accessorizing the tripod was what I was thinking, but it was good to have the value of that idea confirmed “out in the field”. Hoping to be there for the centennial live cast. We use the same one. And we just use a scoop with the cord looped around it to help spin it. And we are on the 3rd year using it
That's the first time I seen a fish being snagged right out of the middle of the bunch. The other fish were like, "Hey, where did Fred go? Oh look, food." Another fish gone. Awesome video guys. You both were having so much fun.

Can you use the capture card that was used for the aquavu on the eyoyo or just the sd card? Or is that specific to aquavu?

I have an inflatable fishing paddle board, I was thinking of mounting the camera under the board facing forward. Do you think I can see anything this way? Or does the camera need to be deep?

I’ve had my Eyoyo for 3 years now. I add a small weight to the bottom of the camera. No more spinning problems. And have had zero problems with it. Have seen the aqua view as a buddy has one. No benefit in the number of fish caught. Aqua View is overpriced in my opinion. Yes it has a nicer display but to me it’s all about catching fish.
I love how the other fish had no reaction to other fish just disappearing.

A float was included with the cheaper canera even if you dident wanna show us the result
