Haha ... I much prefer snapper
Serious frikn red, well done.
Thanks Jake
A seafood cooking show for the next channel buddy, that looked pretty fantastic. I'll try the steamed + peanut arrangement next time. The old surfing days taught you well how to get back home through the waves I reckon.
Thank you, Jake. It is definitely a favourite dish. Yeah, surfing has definitely helped my understanding of the waves and the ocean
nice catch bro ..and great video!
Thanks bro!
Great video nice Tailor and snapper 🎣🐟👍😎
Thank you. Luv those sessions
Took the kayak out last week got bumped off shore and fell into the water . I shit bricks 🧱
Yeah, that would be scary. Seems like you got back in okay. Any fish?
Was all fine. No fish, it was early in. Btw Nice snapper you got.
Looks delicious Bugsy! 👌🏽 🤤
Really good! Cheers Hai
Absolutely mental fish bro!! That’s a slob. I gotta get myself a kayak it looks great!
Cheers bro. I was buzzing. The kayak opens up a whole range of new grounds
Wow! I never tried fishing in the deep sea! Might give it a go! How deep do u reckon it is?
It varies in depth but around the 20m mark
Great Fish
Cheers
I’m thinking of getting a hobie outback what’s your thoughts about it
Hi mate, I haven't used the Hobie Outback. They look good. I am really happy with the Revolution 13. I think they are a bit better for what I do out in the ocean. Perhaps a bit faster but maybe less stable than the Outback. And it looks a little lighter than the Outback which makes it easier to put on the roof of my car. Still pretty heavy though. The Outback looks great though. Stable enough to stand on and cast in calm waters and the Revolution doesn't allow that. Plus the Outback has better storage. Not sure how much room there is in the bow though. I can fit a 100cm catch bag in the front of the Revo. Hope that helps

Hi Bugsy, just have a question how do you rig your rods like do you use mainline to leader knots or just swivels and if so what knots do you use for leader knots and lure/hook/weight knots?
Hi Cooper, for this style of fishing I keep it really simple. 20lb braid mainline then I use an FG knot to tie 1 1/2 rod lengths of 20lb monofilament as a leader. Then I use a loop knot to tie the jig head on. So two knots. That's it. Really streamlined and simple
@@bugsyfishing thanks a lot I’m starting to use the fg and add swivels onto the split rings on lures to prevent line twist
I like yr fishing content a lot. Can’t relate to the spear fishing content, as I fucked my lungs after years of smoking, idiot. Wanted to do this, just can’t, oxygen starvation in the extreme. Anyway watching you land that Snapper, really exciting. Was on the edge, like I was fishing, cept it would’ve been the best fish I’ve eva caught. Ha! Go Bugsy! 😮
Thank you, Justin. Sorry to hear about your lungs, not good. I'm glad you are enjoying the vids and feeling the stoke!
How big did the snapper go?
65cm
