BIG Sydney Snapper FISHING on Soft Plastics (Catch 'n' Cook)

This is a combined episode of 2x snapper fishing missions. Trip one, Bree slayed many legal-sized fish yet her heart was set on catching her first proper one. Her birthday luck came through in the end, when she got her first Gummy shark, beautiful eating fish. However, we are big believers in sustainability and only taking what we want/need and we both weren't too keen on taking a Gummy for the table.
The next session started off with bait collecting, Yaan showing Bree up on the squid grounds getting a solid one. We were targeting kingfish but quickly realised they weren't around in thick. A change of plans to flick for snapper payed off big time with both getting snappers on plastics and yaan landing a monster 61cm snapper.
They cook up the squid and snapper and enjoy it all with the family.
