With all the allegations people throw out to get out of things, it would stand reason that people are lying on cops all day, but almost all allegations I've heard lobbied have either been eventually proven true, after ruining the victims life, or go without ever being answered. Pretty crazy really, no other profession in the country lies, covers up, on this level. And as you can see here, in case you weren't already aware somehow, that balance we are supposedly protected by through separate but equal factions of government, courts, cops, punishment, don't exist. They all work together. How you could pretend otherwise is beyond me. A cops word is good enough to sentence a man to life, but yours, and a group of witnesses, can't get you out of a ticket. Yet we are expected to believe they are unaffiliated and independent.

How many lives have been ruined by these cops, prosecutors , and judges who have clearly only ever cared about winning (obviously not justice) and covering for each other..? There can be camera footage showing cops lying and they still would take the cops word for it.
You can get arrested and held on ridiculous cash bail meaning they have you sit in jail (goodbye job, housing , etc) til your trial, except that speedy trial doesn’t work in practice. So you basically better have someone to make calls for you and put money on your books because you only get two ten mins phone calls a day. But then you find out every private attorney wants $5000-$10,000 just to start. Way more if it goes to trial. So you go with a public defender (which is a crapshoot) and you only meet once or twice usually when you are already in court. So you’re lawyer is just learning your name and the prosecutor has had ample time to prepare (taxpayers dime of course ) and they have the cops behind them, multiple lawyers working a case, and an entire crime lab and any expert they want who say what they want to just collect the cash. So they approach and say you can get out that day, if you plead guilty, if not and you go to trial and lose then you are looking at 10+ years. Meanwhile, the judge, prosecutors , etc know that you are innocent but don’t care.

We can all just be thankful that there's court camera otherwise she'd have been SOL. The part that bother's me is that the marshal never got any jail time out of it. The silver lining is that the incident will dog Marshal Ron Fox for the rest of his days because as soon as he applies for a job they're going to google his name to see what kind of digital footprint he has.
