it makes me smile to picture Aaron quietly standing in front of the camera making the hand motions and wagging his finger without the voiceover
Stop picturing me! 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha! I thought it was just me doing that!
Me as well, lol. 👋🇨🇦
Amazing as always. Need a top for a good Rice cooker for a 3person household. Some adeise from the crowd? My thanks
@@michiroblreiter4172Zojirushi, Tiger, Toshiba basically any Japanese one. I have a small zojirushi that makes enough for 4-5 people at a time. Small ones can be had for around 70$ and are worth every penny
I’m so here for meal prepping! Hope you do more of these. Happy Holidays everyone!! 🌲🎉
Challenge accepted! 🤣 Happy holidays 😍😍😍
So thrilled to see this. I made ground beef bulgogi a couple of weeks ago because I didn't have any other beef. I thought I was "cheating", now I feel validated! 😊
😂😂 Hope you enjoy it~! 😁🙌
Honestly, I prefer it with ground beef! I think the flavours all incorporate way better and it seems to go better with the rice as well!
yessss, please PLEASE do more meal prep videos in the future or even a series!!! it would be so helpful. I come back to your channel every time I cook something korean inspired!
Love the meal prep idea. Please show more recipes for this series!
I’ve been mealprepping both the old bulgogi recipes for weeks already, so good!
That's awesome right? 😍
@@AaronandClaireabsolutely, especially the spicier one with gochugaru but I’m trying this one next!
Happy Christmas to you both - your recipes and the joy you bring to cooking have changed our lives and we are all eternally grateful 🙌🙌
You can also cook your ground beef into small patties which I prefer. Both al denta cooked cabbage and green beans freeze and reheat well for frozen meals. On a side note so does kale (also remember to cook it al denta) if you want just to make some season kale and rice meals/sides for the freezer. Note by under cooking the vegetables to leave them with a crunch, will keep them from being mushy when reheated.
That sounds yum, Penny!!👍 Hope you have wonderful holiday season! 😍
@@AaronandClaire Happy holiday to both you and Clair also 😃.
Eating out too much gets expensive. I always try to bring my lunches to work and this is perfect.
Btw Aaron I made my first egg rolls the other day using one of your marinade recipes for the ground pork, some I did plain cabbage with pork and the others I made with kimchi and pork and they were so good.😊
Fabulous Cookbook!
Beautiful photos and instructions ❤
Thanks for this! I'd definitely be interested in seeing more meal prep versions of your recipes.
Happy Holidays guys!!! I was going to make some meat sauce for pasta but my wife saw this and now I'm cooking bulgogi😊 thank you for the inspiration Aaron and for the reactions Claire! 🎉
I’m making this next week. Thank you and merry Christmas!!!
I absolutely love your food! Any type of Asian food but especially Korean, the mix of flavors is fantastic. My eldest child who is part Korean wants to be a chef, so he watches your videos and steals your cookbook from me to experiment. Thank you so much for making them fun and easy to follow.
I lived in Korea for 2 years, best 2 years of my life! Thanks for posting this!
I just ordered the cookbook. Looking forward to trying the recipes out!
I just shared this video with a friend who meal preps to eat healthier. Thank you both you really make cooking look easy and delicious! Merry Christmas 🎄
Love the format. More please
I love all your recipes!!
Use what you have 🙏🏻🥰👍🏻
Thank you for this meal prep idea! I'm in my first year or university, and spend too much time in the kitchen cooking instead of studying, but as exam season is approaching, I need to spend most of my time studying, despite loving to cook 😂. It would be really helpful if you could share more meal prep ideas please Aaron, it would be so useful 🙏
Please make more videos like this. I have 5 in the family. We all eat adult size. This meal prep size is perfect for my family. I don't have to figure out the ingredient adjustments. We eat many of your recipes. We love them!❤❤❤
I love them and his recipes are fire. Just ordered his cookbook can’t wait to receive this beautiful book. This ground beef bulgogi recipe was amazing! I made some cabbage since I didn’t have kimchi. Was delicious lunches for the week. Outstanding!!! Love from Connecticut USA🥰🌹
Looks fantastic!! Happy Holidays to you both!! Have a wonderful Christmas!
Thanks you for saying that!!! 😍 Hope you have wonderful holiday season!! 😍😍😍
Very delicious! Thank you for this recipe!
Love it!! more meal prep videos please! Been loving my own cooking a lot more after getting your recipe book!
I am starting to learn Aaron’s recipes and I LOVE them. I have several chronic illnesses and this meal prep is a lifesaver for me to help my poor hubby get proper meals every day and actually taste good 👍. In truth I am a disaster in the kitchen so I watch videos and get him the organic ingredients and then he does the cooking and viola he gets fed with minimal effort, yay❣️❣️👋🇨🇦
We use a salad spinner to dry our blanched cauliflower and broccoli etc then on a tray with a fan blowing over them. Use what we want bag and freeze/fridge the rest for later, mostly we add the florets to stir fried rice. Not done the Bulgogi mince before but we will and i like the idea of making larger batches and freezing more time up front but you save alot of time later as well as the cost of energy not to mention the washing up. Thank you for the recipes hope you have a wonderful christmas and a happy new year, Take care, God bless one and all.
I love your meal prep series! I tried the chicken with broccoli last week, and this week I’ve made this. I was a bit doubtful about using ground beef for a bulgogi recipe but I was of course WRONG. All of your recipes never fail…absolutely delicious!!!!
Great that you add the macros of the meal 💪
Great upload as always my friend and I hope that you have a wonderful and great festive season
Thanks! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season Wilfred 😍
I am loving these meal prep ideas. Keep em coming🥰
Had this today and it’s really yummy!
this looks amazing. MORE KOREAN MEAL PREPS with the macros included pls!!!
I'm making this this weekend 😊
just made it. This recipe is amazing.
Hello from las vegas nv in the US. I love the channel and got your cookbook. The way you do things is relatable and easy. Everything is always good, if you follow the recipe. If not, well you know 😂 Claire is the best tester ever. Thanks for sharing your life and recipes with the world. I know my husband and I have learned and loved a lot of things we now keep on hand every week. Thank you
Looks so delicious! I will meal prep this while I'm off for Christmas so I have some lunches made when I go back to work!
That's a great idea my friend! 👍 Happy holidays! 😍😍
@@AaronandClaire Happy Holidays to you too! ❤❤
Think this will be the first meal I prep after the holidays🥰🥰
We just made it and kids loved it! Thanks for this simple recipe.
Done this recipe multiple times now , its super easy and forgiving. really hard to mess it up and it tastes great - nice work !
Another great recipe Aaron,,,just bought your book, thank you. keep Claire in your videos because she is adorable.
Watched the video. Needed to cook up some beef sitting in my fridge. Became too soupy so I ladled out most of the liquid so the meat could brown. Used the "gravy" on the rice and altogether with Costco jug of kimchi it turned out AMAZING. Merry Christmas 🇨🇦
I just might cook this to serve Christmas eve... Thanks for sharing. 😁
That's a good idea!! 😍 Please let us know how it was and merry Christmas! 😍
Thanks guys 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you
So good
I made this tonight. It is soooo good. I also ordered the cook book the other night when I first watched this video. I’ve made a few of your recipes and enjoyed them so far. And your videos are fun to watch. well done!
Awesome to hear it! Hope you enjoy our cookbook, too! 😁🙏
I made this tonight and it was awesome! My whole house smells like a Korean BBQ joint. Love it!
It doesn't have quite the punchy flavor I was expecting, though. I might try broiling some of it, or trying to get a bit of chr on it somehow to simulate the tableside grilling flavor a bit more. Or maybe higher heat... Not sure.
Oh, and I'll definitely let it marinate more than 15 minutes. 😆
Love it please do more meal prep videos
My husband and I live in Korea. Since we both work part time it's really hard for us to cook healthy meals during the week. A lot of the meal prep recipes I've seen online use ingredients that aren't easy to find or affordable for us (no Emart, Homeplus, or Lotte Mart where we live T.T). But your recipe is exactly what we need, I'm excited to try it out!
I love your channel, I wish that you will also include the macros of all your dishes ❤️
I tried this. It was absolutely amazing! I put an egg on top of mine for extra protein.
Thank you for showing how to wash rice! I know it seems simple but it took me forever to realize what to do lol
I love your channel! thank you for sharing with us! I am also in the process of gaining muscle and am always looking for recipes with a high caloric value and an appropriate amount of protein. I have been making your recipes for a long time and would appreciate it if you could occasionally add the nutritional values of your dishes, ofc if you can hehe🤩
I love the idea of Korean meal prep and this recipe is bomb 😊
I've made this before using your book. Very nice. I'm the only person in a family of five that love kimchi but I can't buy small quantities. I'll try the cucumber salad. Looks like in Korea you can buy single serve portions. I have not found anything similar here in Australia.
Glad I found you. Really like bulgogi. Purchased your book looking forward to making more foods
I made this for my meal prep and it is sooooo delicious! I can eat it for months straight! If u are debating to make this , this is ur calling to make it!!!!
Just ordered a copy of your book ❤
Luuuuv your videos❤always leave me with a smile. Thanks😁
That dish looks delicious and prepackaging looks like a great idea for just me and my wife now that we are almost empty nesters.
This looks tasty! Will give it a try. Any chance of doing a spicy ground pork bulgogi meal prep version?
Aaron & Claire, I'm saving this video in my "Recipes" category. I'm going to make this with red bell pepper and jalapeños. 🇺🇸🤝🇰🇷
I love bulgogi - thanks for this!!
I do up batches of your ground beef bulgogi for the freezer. It makes a quick meal with rice for lettuce wraps or a quick noodle dish with Udon after coming home from work.
@AaronandClaire
Thanks so much. I was buying marinated bulgogi beef from Costco
Now I can make it at home with ground beef (I luuuvvv bulgogi)
Just made this and substituted the mirin for sherry and it was delicious and so simple to make.
I have been making a similar ground beef bulgogi for a few years. So glad I can now make it proudly, like I'm not breaking any rules! Lol
I like to grate an apple to saute with the beef to mimic the asian pear or kiwi. Gives a great sweetness. But if you don't have an apple, just use what ever you have. Don't worry about it! it will be fantastic!
Just bought your cookbook. Can't wait to read and try out your recipes! 🥳
Thank you so much! Hope you have wonderful holidays and enjoy our cookbook! 🥰🙏
Thanks! Happy holidays to you and Claire!
I received the cookbook today! Very thorough explanation about all the necessary kitchen condiments and sauces. The food in the photos looks so tasty! The recipes are very easy to follow. Luuuuv the recipes with rettich (Daikon) and tofu. My Taiwanese mom was like oh these recipes could be Taiwanese 😂 We're going to make Korean Pickled Radish today 😊 Thank you for introducing Korean kitchen culture! Happy New Year! 🎉🎊
Loved this! Could you please do more meal preps? I love Korean food, but I don't have energy to cook it throughout the work week ):
Absolutely! More to come! 😁
Aaron and Claire, love your channel! Was curious the brand of your storage ware? They look like the perfect size for meals, most of what I find here in the US is too big or small. Thanks and keep up the great videos!!
I had such a great time watching this video for a multitude of reasons, will definitely be making some bulgogi of my own!
Sounds like a perfect plan. If you need a list of ingredients or exact amount, check out the written recipe down below. Hope you enjoy it! 😊 aaronandclaire.com/ground-beef-bulgogi-meal-prep-recipe/
Aaron, get out of my head. How did you know that I was looking for this.,, like just a few days ago!!!!! Great job.
I need to buy that book.
You won't regret it😎
Yes, it's the best! TRUST ME - you won't regret it!
That rice looks succulent
Wow - Aaron is a WIZARD with a knife!!
Just cooked it and it was so good.
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing it! 😊🙏
Gonna give this a try! Do you think the flavor changes if i use ground turkey?
I lov korian food 👍🏻well prepared I enjoyed your great video my friend🤝 thank you so much
I might just make this for dinner one night and whatever the family doesn't eat take for lunch the next day or two. This looks delicious.
So many people are already hatching plans to save money, eat better and spend time more wisely in 2024. This video is perfect for all of those goals! Happy New Year, friends!
Aaron and claire for best internet couple !
Please make more meal prep videos
yum
I trust you!
Could you do this with cut up chicken thighs as well? using the same bulgogi sauce?
I love eating danmuji as a side as well as kimchi.
Loving the recipe ideas. @AaronandClaire - Can I ask what glass containers you use for your meal prep servings ?
I got them in Korea. If you are living in Korea, you can get them from Coupang! You can type 내열유리 반찬통! (640ml per each container)❤️
@@AaronandClaire Thanks for the reply. I’ll take a look 👍🏻 ❤️
please more meal prep videos :)
YUM!!!
This looks like dinner tonight for me
My mouth is watering ❤❤❤
Thanks! Happy holidays~😍😍😍😍😍
Hi Aaron , do we need sugar ? Can i replace with Splenda ?
Looks really good! What kind of beef was used though? 80/20 90/10?
I think 90/10 will give you a better result! 😊
You are funny! I enjoyed this video, and tried the recipe, so good! I wonder would this be good with chicken thighs 🤔
DO NOT SKIP the msg, it needs it, these flavors in the marinade are rich and work so nicely together but the msg really ties it all together and takes it over the top.
Is that 68g of carbs? I might halve the rice and double the broccoli in that case and/or adjust the sugar in the sauce
What % lean ground beef do you recommend?
5:45 “fancy… fancy fancy” 😂
@AaronandClaire Hey Aaron, thank you for the recipe. I tried it and it's absolutely delicious. However, could you please tell me the fat content of the ground beef you're using? Because according to your recipe, you're using 200g beef per portion, with normal ground beef that's already around 510 cal, plus around 270 cal for half a cup of rice. So with the added sugar, mirin, and oil, I easily reach 1050 cal for an portion, not the 880 cal you mention in your recipe. Am I doing something wrong, or are korean cows just more lean than our european ones? :D
When he says “trust me”, I instantly trust this man with my entire life.
