I spent a year in Korea in 2013 and fell in love with the food and the people. I ordered you book and can't wait to try out the recipies. Everything I have made from your videos has been amazing. Keep up the good work!
I am half Korean and lived there in the early 1980s as a teenager. I ate such incredible food every day all over from Seoul to Taegu to Pusan (and mom’s!) that I cannot live without certain things to this day. I bought your cookbook and I really love it. The meal preps and plans in your videos are just amazing too. God bless you both, live long and prosper 🖖
I’m loving this meal prep series!! Perfect timing. Please keep them coming! 💕 I got your book for Christmas and it was my favorite gift 🍚
Fantastic as always! Great channel. Very inspiring.. keep them coming thank you.
Aaron, I guarantee you that I have no Korean heritage, but having been to Korea many times for work, I have an affinity with the cuisine! Your channel is one of my favorites. I have used many of them to introduce my son to the splendor of Korean cooking!
I personally would take a side dish for my Kimchi, but the Shishito peppers might be nice as well!
Kimchi? I guarantee that you have Korean ancestors! 🤣 Thanks for watching Jeff 👍
I made the chicken for my family last night. Best one yet. You two are my favorite CZcams channel lately. You got me started cooking dinner a couple times a week and my wife is thrilled (I'm no cook but your instruction is outstanding). I keep hinting I want the book for my birthday. I got hangry birds to feed!
Woohoo, more meal prep! Thank you so much!! Good job suggesting other vegetables...no shishitos here until I grow them in my garden this summer. Looking forward to growing a Korean pepper called Tta go tta go, I can never find proper fresh Korean peppers where I live.
I've made 5 of your dishes over the last week, and my family has loved all of them! This one's next! Cheers from Canada. Keep the videos coming!

Love your book. My Mom lives with me, and has been looking at it every day. She marked a bunch of pages for dishes for me to make. Can't wait!
I also bought your book it's great! Thanks for all the simple and very tasting recipes love from 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for this meal prep! 🤤
Really appreciate this series thanks a bunch
Thanks so much for enjoying this series! 😍
Thank you Aaron and Claire! ❤ we have your book!
Living in a very rural state we do have to order online.
But ingredients easily found online so far.
Going to find a store a hour and half away!
Here’s hoping! Sending love your way!!!
May have to try a version of this! This looks great!
I bought your book and I am so excited to try your recipes! I love your channel 🥰
Fantastic! My wife says this solves tomorrow’s dinner dilemma.
Buy his book people, amazingly easy to follow. You will be amazed!
Yay! Hope you guys have a wonderful dinner tomorrow! 😁
I just got introduced to your channel and I love it! I love how you give the instructions and demonstration. And I also love Claire's "review" of the final meal at the end! Thank you from Canada!
Thank you
Claire is my most favorite food critic
Your cookbook is my current fave!! Very well laid out and easy to follow. As an avid cook Im like Where has Korean cooking been my whole life?!! 🙏💙
Thank you so much for enjoying our channel and even our cookbook! 🙏
Aaron I love the meal prep ideas... thank you
Wake up and it's after seven in the morning where I live , watching this video and discovered that I have all the ingredients so , I will be making this dish. Thanks a million Aaron and ' Happy New Year '..
Thank you. Book purchased.
So happy you are doing meal prep videos 🥰
I got u book but the problem is the ingredients, not easy to found out in my state, but I found out new Korean store will open this month hurry good. Let see how can make more Korean recipes.
That's great news! I'm glad you found a new Korean store, and I hope it opens up a world of possibilities for you to explore and enjoy Korean recipes. If you ever need help or have questions about specific ingredients or recipes, feel free to reach out. Happy cooking! 😍
You may be able to order online. Ot also may be less expensive that way as well 😊
I have to buy most things online. They just aren't available in my area.
Shop smart, shop H-Mart! (in Canada)
(got your book for xmas Aaron)
Amazon usually has everything I need
this is amazing !
Thanks for another great video!!♥♥
Thank you for watching😍
Your videos always make me smile and i always leave full 😊
So happy to hear that!! Thank you for being with us! 😍😍
I like a little more savory than sweet gochujang flavor, and not too spicy. I was concerned about the color, but when Claire described it as exactly that, I was sold! Claire’s reactions are just as important as Aaron’s cooking. Perfect team! ❤
Hope it’s not too spicy for you. ❤️
P.S. If it’s still spicy for you, you can make it less spicy next time by reducing gochugaru (Korean chili pepper flakes) or skipping the fresh chilies! 😁🙌
@@AaronandClaire Mahalo Aaron & Claire! Watching you from Hawai’i!
I already cooked it twice since you uploaded this recipe, it's so delicious
That looks so good
I love this channel so much
Have my chicken marinating in the fridge right now and the sauce ready. Can’t wait to try this when I get back from work tomorrow 😋
I Love Claire!! She's the best
I've never had Mirin or Oyster sauce until I started cooking your recipes 😮 I absolutely love the flavors. Now my store quit selling Mirin lol so go figure, something good to try, is now not available. I love watching your cooking videos, and watching Claire review lol she makes me laugh. She is such a great addition to your cooking show. Thank you two ❤
I buy my mirin in bulk on amazon, and I always have oyster sauce and gochujang in my fridge, along with canned kimchi, always, since I sub to Aaron and Claire :p I think for me the next logical step will be to learn making my own kimchi in order to save money as the store bought kind imported in my country can be quite expensive.
You can usually substitute mirin with chinese cooking wine. Its roughly the same thing, just mirin is a bit sweeter, and lighter so if you want the same exact taste a bit of sugar helps and maybe lightening it up with a bit of water depending for taste.
If you don't have access to either, you can kind of cheat with a bit of melted butter, salt and a weak vinegar (rice vinegar works best in my experience).
I live where neither is easy to comes by, and mix that with a few food restrictions and i end up replacing things more often than not :D
This gochujang chicken bulgogi looks so delicious! 😀
More Meal Prep like this please
Hello Aaron and Claire! Thank you for another great video! Where can we find your wok pan online? Thank you!
7:56 I thought youtube sped up and was showing me Claire at super speed, but no, she was just super excited 😂
Hey just did this recipe today, I used the asparagus saute mix from trader Joe's instead of shishito peppers since my wife isn't fond of those. Omg this recipe was easy to follow and my wife said it's one of the best chicken dishes I've made and wants a repeat next week. I found you guys this morning while I was looking up recipes for the gochuchang past I bought at TJ's. I'm now a big fan. We have leftovers we are taking for lunch. I can't wait lol
Looks incredible 😍😍
Your editing is phenomenal

Fantastic recipe 👍 seem delicious and tasty 😋 thanks for sharing 👍 keep intouch and stay connected 🤲
I have a tub of gochujang with me sitting on the fridge. This gochujang series is heaven.
I made this for my lunch meal prep! It was delicious. I loved my lunch this week. I did keep my kimchi separate to prevent drama in the break room at work.
So pleased to hear it!!! 🥰🙌
Looks extremely delicious!!! We are Indians and my daughters love korean food. Will have to try adjusting the spices and gochujang as we have low spice tolerance.
Shishito seeds are cheap and grow well where I live. I love discovering new things to grow.
Hi Aaron! I tried your recipe today and the sauce turned out great, loved the flavours. I did have to put some water in the pan whilst i cooked the chicken as i worried it would be burnt. It made the chicken very soft.. i wasnt a fan of the texture. Is this because i added a bit of water? Thanks
Another awesome meal prep! Please make meal prep for your butadon!❤❤❤
안녕하세요 Aaron & Claire :D
This is the 8th recipe u showed us that I cooked for me and my coworkers ! The Spicyness is quite challenging altough I just put the half amount of 고춧가루 . I hope after cooking many more of your AMAZING and delicious recipes I will gain a lot more tolerance for spicy food :D
Can´t wait to travel to 한국 someday and devour all delicacies I can find.
Thank you both for showing us a way to try out new food. Especially for your hard work to bring joy to all of us and real authentic recipes , that everybody can cook at home on the other side of the world.
Hi Aaron and Claire, the reason I've been cooking with Gochujang is because you. It's a very good product. The video was excellent. You make it so easy to transition into another way of cooking. I've always been kinda afraid to try. It seems quit simple when I watch your vids, so, Thanks. Are your prep containers glass or plastic bottoms that you would put in the freezer?
They are made of microwave-safe glass and they can be kept in the fridge (& freezer). If you are considering buying one of these, check out this kind of things! 😁🙌
Aaron this is a great video! I am a new viewer and was just wondering if there is anywhere to get recipes like this for 1 serving?
I was stationed in Korea for almost 4 years so, yeah I love korean food. It's the best.
I just made this. LIFE CHANGED ❤ 감사합니다 from Toronto. Keep up the great work
🥰🥰🥰🙏
Yum. Clair is a washer wizard 😅
Hi Aaron... I really love ur recipes. I have tried a few of them for dinner with family members and friends and the compliments are gr8 every time. However I live in Nigeria and finding gochujang is difficult . Most times I have to substitute other spices for this. However I was hoping if u could share a simple recipe on how to prepare it or a very close substitute...... I hope u would say ... Don't worry about it.... 😂😊. Love it when. U say that.
Thanks for these meal prep videos! I hope there are more of these coming :) question: do you thaw the frozen meals in the fridge or microwave them straight from the freezer?
Both of them work, but I prefer to microwave them straight from the freezer! Hope you enjoy it! 😍
I can’t live without kimichi, I’m half Japanese though. My daughter can’t live without it too. Lol
I saw Korean green onion at my Asian grocery store and I bought some cuz I knew you guys would be posting today 😂😂😂😂
*Thank you for the recipe❤️😍🥰❤️😍🥰❤️*
You’re most welcome! Thank you for watching! 🥰🙏
Gochujang is just so versatile and yummy!!! :)
I can't eat gochujang because of an ingredient intolerance, but I've been making your recipes with chili garlic sauce as a substitute and everything has been delicious! I can't wait to get your cookbook someday. Thank you for making recipes that are delicious even though I can't make them correctly 😂
Looks super delicious! What's the best way to heat these up after cooking?
You can simply microwave it! I strongly recommend using micro-safe and freezer -friendly containers like the video. 😍
Love this recipe..where is Claire❤
You're right Aaron, who cares if it's not traditional, it the taste & eating that counts. Hodu looked so sleek & trim, she must be sticking to her yoga routine😉. Take care guys🧡💛🧡💛
You’re right, Bonnie. I think her yoga routine definitely helps her keep in shape! 🤣 As always, thanks for watching and take care! 😁🙌
Amazing recipe Aaron! I'm definitely going to try this one out. One question: what meal prep containers do you use? How big are they?
Each container is 640 ml. They will be enough for 1 portion! Hope you fine a good one! 😉👍
Must have been good. You got Claire to do the dishes.
I love your book and have tried a lot of the recipes now. My only concerns are that some of them are very salty. Some of the sauces have a lot of sugar, corn syrup and mirin. I'm insulin resistant/borderline diabetic type 2 so I have to be very careful. Some low carb recipes would be great.
@buffys3477 oh thank you, good to know the taste isn't too affected. Much appreciated
I leave the sugar out too (but keep the mirin) and also use low-sodium tamari, soy sauce, and chicken stock to reduce the salt. They still taste great!
@anneb.9435 thank you so much! I use tamari but not sure if it's low sodium. There's only one type in my supermarket.
Adsamore Adsamore!!!! This is definitely me with garlic. New subscriber here! Time to visit my local H mart for some Korean ingredients. Thank You
Aaron, What pan are you using in this video? I LOVE the size an would love to know what you've got!
Hi Aaron thanks for sharing...Another foolproof recipe to try. Everytime I cook, no need to taste test. You make everything easy provided that we follow the exact right amount of ingredients to get that desired balance of flavor and taste. Thank you.
Anyway, to add to your chicken recipes. I'd like to suggest snowing chicken. Hope I can also make that at home. Thank you and more power.
Challenge accepted! 🤣 Thank you so much for enjoying our recipes. So glad to hear that you’re enjoying them! 😁👍
@@AaronandClaire yehheyyyyy this made me excited and happy!😊😊😊
Thank you Aaron and Claire..More power to your channel and more blessings to come😊😊😊
When is the meal prep cookbook coming? 🙏🙏
Challenge accepted 🤣
@@AaronandClaire 🔥🔥🔥
does anyone know what pan that is?? it looks really good
방금 이대로 했더니 훌륭한 요리가 되었습니다. 그런데 여기에 baking soda를 넣는 이유는 뭔가요? 궁금합니다~~^^
Aaron- what size wok is the one that you're using in your videos?
How would you go about making this with Tofu?
..."Love you guys!"...
Why the baking soda for the chicken marinate? Does it help with the marinating process?
I am definitely bookmarking this video, thank you! BTW if you translate your book to French, I will buy a copy to share it at my work ;) (they don't speak english)
What is the song at the beginning of the video? Diggin that beat
Hi! Can you do a Korean slow cooker recipe? Set it and forget it!
"Christmas is over, Aaron," said Claire. But Claire, I see your Christmas tree still up in the background! Ha ha ha. Nice try! Happy New Year!
I’m glad you said only 3 days in fridge.
Aaron I love your voice and I hate it....I feel like I'm being pandered to but I can't do without it - i'm making this tomorrow, thanks champ.
Do you know any good alternatives for garlic? As much as I love the flavour I cannot eat it as it is a trigger food for IBS :(
do you just reheat in the micro wave or eat cold ???
Your Christmas tree is still up so I'm not blaming Aaron entirely for the Christmas continuing in this house.
Add some more!
Add some more!! 😎
Ok this is scary! 무서워요! I was really thinking about this. I need to go to the super market and i want to cook more at home and eat a little healthier. And i was thinking about mealprep, so why not korean haha
Perfect timing indeed
Did I read your mind? 🤣
@@AaronandClaire indeed you did 😋
Already wrote down my grocery list 😋 also need to order your book soon 😁
Very nice, spicy dish! First time I tried shishito peppers at all. For all German fans: Look around for "Bratpaprika" (what a boring and bland name that practically means "peppers for frying", you can get it in REWE supermarkets) or in Spain "Pimientos de Padrón".
I can't eat Padron peppers for some reason...an intolerance it would seem. I'm glad Aaron made the alternative suggestions with asparagus or green beans. Was waiting for the 'alternative' bit 💚❤️
How are you able to brown the chicken when you put so much in at once? Usually when I do that the fluid comes out and it hards to get a good sear
Add a good amount of oil and make sure to give it enough time until the pan gets really hot. :)
I know it's like a food sin, but anytime I've ever had Korean leftovers, I heat the kimchi up with all the food, lol. I love the warm kimchi mixed in. 😂
I don't know about you guys, but this changed my LIFE!
You’re recipes have made me , and more importantly my girlfriend, very happy.
Can’t wait to try this one too!
this pepper looks absolutely GORGEOUS but I have never seen it in Europe, not to mention in little Austria... can anybody explain what it tastes like, or what I can use in Germany/Austria instead - I know Aaron mentioned green beans, but I know the flavor and dont think that it is very much alike... thank you !!
Padron peppers would do in Europe it seems (seen in another comment here).
When ever you visiting Canada 🇨🇦 let me know
I've traced my family tree history back to colonial times, and I'm as white-bread corn-fed hillbilly bred as they come.
That being said, there is ALWAYS kimchi in my fridge at home (next to the gokujang) and at work!
Then,,,you definitely know how to eat properly! 😁
