I really liked you list. Probably one of the best and most honest reviews I’ve seen. I own many of them and I agree that the p320 is the best. I paid similar amounts for my glock and my 320. It comes down to trigger. Sigs have one of the best out of the box triggers.

Get a Steyr M9A1, you'll never talk about your Sig again. Low bore axis, short/crisp trigger reset, and the the most intuitive sights on the market. Also, sadly discontinued.

I feel the same about the P320 but I don’t carry it because of dropped issues or going off in your holster so I just do it at the range only 🙈🙈🙈🙈

Another informative and well filmed video, Heg!!! I added the P320X Carry to my collection of typical favorites. I love this handgun! The hand feel, trigger, sight picture, look, capacity, engineering...can't be beat, as of 5/12/18. NOTE - I'd love to see you and the "Big Guns" like Hickoc45, Sootch, etc collaborate on a video.

this is the information that i needed.
otherwise i like smaller gun which i can rotate EDC (purpose) such as slimmer guns.
my very first was the p938 and now needed a stricker fired so now i got a p365.
i got a home gun which is my BDE3 fenominal!!
i got my eyes on the G43.
and looking forward to another stricker fired gun.
my next hammerfired have to be the czP07 😊

Thanks for video. Smith 2.0 is definitely first for me. Walther PPQ is likely 2nd. I would actually have the Ruger American compact in the list even though it is a little shy on capacity. VP9, CZ P10C & FNS would be tough to categorize. It is a great time to be a shooting enthusiast. This is a good problem to have.

My wife and I both carry the P-250, still like the trigger better than the 320. Grew up running wheel guns, and the double action only still works for me. Nobody makes em better than SIG for quality and workmanship.

Great video! I love my Sig P320. I have the full size, but I took the full size grip module off and it now has the carry size grip module giving a somewhat 1911 look to it. Essentially the military version M17 is the same thing. A full size with the carry grip module. Hands down to Sig. I sent my P320 in for the voluntary upgrade and I had it back in my hands within 10 days. Turnaround time was amazing. The Sig P320 is simply an amazing shooter!

Hello. This is my top 5 list and also own each of these:
    1. H&K VP9SK (put the 15 round mag in and get what everyone else is doing with the short slide and full sized grip)
    2. Walther PPQ M1 (am looking at getting the CZ P10S, but it would bump the steyr off the top 5 list, not the Walther)
    3. Sig P320 (I have full size and compact RX module on the way - and like you it may become my #1)
    4. Glock Model 45 (even with the full size grip, I am able to conceal this pistol easily)
    5. Steyr L9-A1 (considering getting the compact model also)

Thank you Hegshot87 for this . Two of my faves are the Smith and Wesson M&P M2.0,and HELL YES the grip is aggresive and comfortable and the trigger is crisp as hell and it's a knockout design. The other is the Sig p320,and yes I'M A SIG MAN ,and everything you said is facts. Sig takes care of their customers no doubt. Question:What are your thoughts on the Glock 19X?

Good list. I have an M&P Shield M2.0 and am about to buy an M&P Compact M2.0 in full agreement t with you on the grip texture. For carrying it concealed, I slip a Hogue rubber grip sleeve over the grip. This still gives a solid firm grip on the pistol, but the rough grip doesn't wear out my belly.

    @marlondemarco Před 6 lety +5

I always say that M&p 2.0 compact is the best striker fire gun and p320 is right behind it. Love the Vp9 and vp9sk. Glock has to come down before I buy one because it doesn’t make sense that other guns are better yet Glock is still more expensive. I’m holding out on the cz due to reliability issues, size and trigger pinch. Ppq is a favorite as well but I don’t carry much because the wall before the trigger breaks is just too light. Otherwise great job!

I have a HK VP9 and HK VP9Sk. Love them both. Natural pointers. And I score a PPQ SC also. But after trying some IWB holsters with the VP9SK, I am think that Sig P365 or P365XL is going to feel a lot friendlier

I think one of the best things about the P320 is the modularity. Because of the ability to remove the trigger mechanism from the frame so easily it makes cleaning so much easier and faster the with my vp9 or 19x. And again that trigger allows you to get the conversion kits to change from 9mm to .357sig, .40 S&W, or .45 ACP. I have the M18 model and it's one of the best gun purchases I have ever made.

Would switch 1 and 5. CZ P10 C for me, the value , quality, and specs for the money is unbeatable for this Polymer Wonder 9s. Agree the Walther PPQ is more of a range, these 5 is better overall for practical use and self defense. 2019 though, Taurus G3 for value all the way.

Great list....great pistols, however after owning a couple of Sigs, I just could never see me owning another one due to quality control. I've had some of the worst malfunctions ever with Sigs. Still, the 320 series due look tempting. Honestly though...it all comes down to the operator. Great video boss!

I would say pretty good evaluation. I never shot a sig p320 but sure it's good. Also the P365 but I think it's not in the class you are trying to compare being it's a micro carry. I think Springfield xd mod 2 should maybe be in there as well. To add a best budget wildcard you would have to include taurus g2c I know it's not quite up to the others standards but it is a great gun at a fraction of the price of the others.

Idk why people talk about da/sa like it’s hard to use 2 different trigger types. It’s been proven that in a self defense situation, you do not pay attention to recoil or trigger pull weight. It’s a fast draw and then bam bam bam. It’s gonna happen so fast your brain will not know that there was 2 different trigger types being pulled. Your brain will be focused on the target only and what’s happening there. Carry what your comfortable carrying. I carry da/sa because it provides a small window of forgiveness in a home defense situation say it’s someone I do not want to shoot but they scare me around the corner. Nothing against striker fired guns. I own them also. But there’s absolutely nothing wrong with carrying a da/sa. If anything for me they get that extra point on their side.

I've got a Beretta 92X (DA/SA) plus a Beretta APX (Striker Fired), and I agree with you. B.F.D. about trigger weight when it's self defense. Adrenaline would let me pull a 100 lb trigger

I’m sure that’s probably true in a SHTF situation..even when I’m at the range with my CZ 75 PCR you don’t really notice the first DA pull when shooting multiple shots.

!The video is very cool. I liked your choice, all are excellent weapons but the Sig Sauer P320 is a very well crafted weapon, beautiful, with a good grip, a good loader. This would no doubt be my number one weapon. Signed on your channel here on you tube.

Bought my m&p 2.0 compact off of gunbrokers from a co. In Ohio. I got it with factory night sites for $389. They charged me 11 bucks for a credit card fee, it was like $30 for shipping 😐, and the rest tax, about $455. Well worth it so far, love it. Aggressive grip was a little bit much for appendix carry, but hasn’t broke the skin 😂

love my CZ P-10, I waited awhile to get mine until CZ finished the rolling upgrades on it, and I gotta say besides the weird auto-forwarding issue this gun has if you insert the mag with a lot of force; I have had zero problems with it. It's a great gun and if they keep with it, it could one day surpass the Glock 19 in every way.

Ok here is my top 5 in no particular order.
Springfield XD/XDm/HS2000. For me these are basically one and the same, HS&XD are the same gun with cosmetic changes, and the XDm has improved trigger, barrel, mag capacity and ergonomics.
Walther PPQ, fits the hand like a glove, moderated capacity in the mag and a true shot, the P99 before it was also a great gun. Had the P99 but sold it when I got the PPQ. Carry weight is not bad. Really like the accuracy.
H&K VP9, fantastic pistol, a bit heavier than the rest and has a heavier slide spring, but. Works well from the left or right hand, also moderate capacity in mag, has multiple back and side panels to change out to make the grip on the pistol perfect for you.
Glock, this pistol is either loved or hated, few fall in between, though there are some who ride the fence and just don’t care. 17/19
The Gen3 17 was my first Glock purchase, loved it but felt the slide was a bit long for CCW, bought the 19 and liked the slide length much better but the slide was cutting my hand every time I pulled the trigger.Which got old real fast. Sold the 19 to my brother who loved it and it fit his hand perfectly, no cuts and shot accurately. Kept the 17 until the Gen4 came out, with the changeable back straps and the one with the extended beaver tale, I found the right grip and sold the 17, in time I realized I much preferred the longer grip of the 17 so I purchased G17 mags and XGrip mag sleeves and fixed the problem. This year I discovered the G45. So you know what I had to do, right?
Grand Power Q100, this is my new comer. It is approximately the same size as the G17, a pinch heavier.
15+1 rounds, so moderate mag capacity. Rotating barrel, crazy lite and smooth trigger. Looks nice on the design. Easy on the pocket book.
Moderate capacity means that for the size of the gun the round count is low for the current state.
Meaning a full size pistol today typically holds 17 rounds, smaller models drop to 15 and less.
While some of the pistols I’ve listed are full size guns the have the smaller capacity of a gun that would fall in to the compact category.
I like all these pistols. They all have their pros and cons, but all are fine machines.
One thing that many people REALLY get worked up over is trigger weight. And I have seen multiple videos of people comparing the triggers between the Gen4 19 and the G45 or the VP9 and the PPQ
Or which ever pistol flavor it is for the month. Seriously, why get bent out of shape over a 1 pound, half pound or a nearly in perceptible difference.
These days striker fired pistols are nearly all tremendous buys.
There are however a few brands I will not even entertain buying.
First is Sig, fine product, outrageous price. I seriously thought HK was crazy until I saw Sigs prices.
Second Ruger, and let me differentiate on this, I love Rugers revolvers. Can’t stand the polymer semiautos, they use a fiberglass reinforced resin in place of polymer and it is like Teflon in my hand, no matter how tight I grip the pistol, regardless of caliber, the gun just slides around in my hand every time I squeeze the trigger.
S&W, I do not know what their current pistols are like, but the ones from just a few short years back were huge dog turds, looked ok, pointed ok, but had near the most gritty 15 pound trigger pull you ever felt. My thought was what fracking moron at S&W approved this calamity.
Since the beginning of S&Ws change over to the production of semiautos they have been resistant to making a quality design, they were pressed in to it by a new GM who saw the future coming while everyone else continued to believe that the revolver would remain top dog in the yard.
S&W reluctantly began making SemiAutos/SAs and started their illustrious journey by making a near exact copy of their most feared competitor, and ended up getting sued and lost the suit.
The once proud S&W had turned in to a lowly thief. Their SAs May be much better today and not have that gritty 15lb trigger any more, but S&W has, it seem a lot of people that seriously lack good judgment.
In the past they have even gone so far down the rabbit hole as to let the quality of their revolvers drop off to the point that brand new units shipped to police departments ( keep in mind this is before PDs started switching over to modern reliable semiautos.) were unusable, guns would not fire and clock works were off to the point that the next round was not lined up with the bbl. Revolvers being their claim to fame, what was going on at S&W that they would allow quality control to drop so low that they were afraid that Taurus of all companies would seriously encroach on their market. Which it did.
Love the way some of their (S&W) new stuff looks, but don’t trust any of it as far as I could throw an imperial battle cruiser.
S&W has show to many times that dementia has set in at the corporate offices, so other than the older revolvers to be found in the used........ahem sorry, PreOwned cases at your local gun shop I find all quality to be suspect.
I am probably the only one who feels this way, and if so that’s fine. But if any other business were to go down this quality control rabbit hole say like the American auto manufacturers people would have a fit over paying tens of thousands of dollars for cars that would start rusting out in less than five years.
That would never happen..........😳 oh yah, that did happen, kinda why Toyota, Honda, Nissan and all the others got such a foot hold. Our own manufacturers got too big for their pantaloons and believed that Americans would continue to American even when those hi prices were getting them junk.

Excellent list. Just got this video recommended to me in 2020. Here is my personal list based on what I've shot:
    1. Walther PPQ
    2. CZ P10F
    3.Beretta APX
    4. Sig P320
    5. M&P 2.0
Honorable mention to the Glock 17/19. It's still a great gun in stock from, but I think the other 5 on my list are better out of the box. A Gucci Glock is the best though. I never shot the HK VP9 before but the ergonomics are great when my mate let me hold his when we were drinking.
