Personally, I feel like your "reality" and "what society thinks" perspective is still what society thinks. It all depends on how you define "nice guy". I always think of Tim McGraws song, Real Good Man. I tend to like guys who do nice things without it being so obvious. The underdog so to speak. It all depends on how you define "nice guy". I always think of Tim McGraws song, Real Good Man.
I tend to like guys who do nice things without it being so obvious. The underdog so to speak. He may be more rugged... likes to hunt, can fix just about anything, yells at the tv when a game is on... but will give you a kiss when you get there and when you leave, wants to spend time with you, smiles when you walk on the room, stocks his fridge/cabinets with stuff he knows you like, asks your opinion on things, holds your hand, holds the door for a person in a wheel chair or lady with a stroller, calls his mom, helps a friend who is moving... I guess I see considerate as being a nice.
Nice is based on how you treat people... it doesn't define your lifestyle or mean push over... it's based on how you treat others. You can have a back bone and still be nice.

I don't need a label to define what I want. Typically, in society the term "nice guy" is negative so if I say I want a nice guy, it comes down to different definitions. Of course, bad boys are typically desired but a bad boy isn't always a Damon Salvatore. In reality, a bad boy is a guy who sleeps around, isn't ambitious, disrespects people, etc. and I'm not here for that. If a guy has made major or minor mistakes in his life but has moved on and is a good guy, I would never, ever say no. Everyone has flaws.

There are other ways to express that you aren’t feeling the relationship besides lying and making it seem like it’s okay. That’s not the woman fault. You cannot collectively say it’s women with the issue. That’s a huge generalization. Men just need to express themselves better than just going and cheating, that doesn’t solve anything. You’re not aware of the issues in your relationship if you’re being lied to, thus you can’t do anything to fix it. There’s a lot that goes into cheating. It cannot simply be the blame of one person especially if their not the one doing the betrayal. But then again they are men out there that just simply like to cheat.
