    LOVE that Finger Dinger concept, even has a groove to stop it rotating too.

    Awesome video, I love the idea of the finger dinger, I always feel awkward saying "on your left" when on bike/hike trails.

    Amazing and truly helpful video Jimmy! Thanks for your videos!
    I cant believe that motorcycle rider kicked that OneWheel Rider and made him wreck! Some people! Be careful and wear your gear against those Jerks!

    Very timely video for my beginning journey on the Trampa board. Love the finger bell. It will make a great addition to my trail riding experience. Great video as always guys.

    New to the OneWheel community, but my board has major ED probably due to my bigger foot size, the furniture pads fixed it no problems and let me float on 💚

    If the 16c small pads had OW of FloatLife logos, they would probably cost $16 😉

    • @TheFloatLife
      @TheFloatLife Před rokem +11

      Obviously they would cost somewhere between $0.69 - $4.20

    I have the hard side of velcro on my pint x to activate the sensors and it also helps w grip. And I find Vessi shoes to be pretty good for riding bc they’re waterproof so they hold in heat really well

  • @yeeboiii448
    @yeeboiii448 Před rokem +1

    Try putting two strips of the hard side of velcro tape, it helps with stability and it does just fine in the rain

    I'm surprised how overlooked the dots get. I used rubber o rings under my viper pad but if I was using any other front pad I would use sticky dots.

    Instead of a finger dinner I just used a cheap ring bike bell I got on Amazon for like $4. I 3D printed a little tab for it to stop it from rotating and it works great. I even made a little clip that goes on the bag I have attached to the back of my euc so I can quickly snap it on or off and not have to worry about forgetting it.

    Love the opening gag. Unfortunately I don't think the furniture pads would work for someone like me with large feet. I bought the overpriced flat pads, and it's been perfect so far unless I find the small dead zone in the corner where the sensor was slit for the concave pad. I've been looking for a button/speaker combo that I can clip onto me to press for the same purpose as the bell. I don't want to hold something or wrap it around my finger if I can avoid doing so.

    Thank you for the video, lots of good products in there. I think I'll pick up the finger dinger for my EUC, because I hate saying 'on your left'. Also, this video reaffirms my view that [some] motorcyclists are a-holes.

    I've been suffering plantar facitis in my right foot, for the last 5 months, due to my time on the Onewheel. I do miss being able to walk without pain. Lol. Don't know if I should have have gotten a better pair of shoes and whether that would have been the difference.

    • @Shredinsocal
      @Shredinsocal Před rokem

      I have that problem too…customs insoles made it feel even more painful. I find if I stop every mile or so for the first 5 miles and massage the soles of my feet and stretch them back and forth the next 5 to 15 miles is a lot less painful. Those vans are definitely worth a shot!

    You get someone hurt with these furniture pads man. If it does not engage right without them, it can cutoff at speed as the rider carves or moves around the front.

    If you cut the pads smaller they won’t hurt your feet as bad. I’m glad I’m an euc rider now….faster, longer range and safer. Why ride anything else?

  • @Kevin-Schmevin

    I've never had an issue with footpad engagement on my XR, it seems like a much better made product than the newer more expensive GT.

    • @DrewLakebrink
      @DrewLakebrink Před rokem

      Not necessarily. It's a redesigned sensor, first time they've done a concave pad and sensor, and they chose a horrible angle for the curve. That same sensor on the flat pad is much better than on the concave. XR and GT are both great boards.

    Appreciate the GT footpad hack, but the flat footpads are well worth the investment if concave isn’t working for you. FM really should make that an option upon GT purchase.
