- In this video, I demonstrate how to install the AMS Flex Fuel kit along with the AMS Big Bore HPFP and Deatschwerks inline fuel filter on my Q50 RedSport 400. You can use these instructions to install the kit on a q60 as well. Make sure to follow my build by joining the squad.

What size nylon braided hose is it for the line you need to replace that goes to the gas tank?
I think it’s a 3/8’s line if it’s smaller it would be a 5/16. I’d probably upgrade to a 1/2 which is a -8AN if I was to do it.

I didn't do an in-depth video on that because there were other videos already. I installed it at the same time I installed my flex fuel kit.
when tapping into that amp, does the car have to be fully on or can it be in accessory mode?

How did you push the white pin out with your pick tool?
Pushed on the back side of the pin.
How long does it take for the car to stall after fuse is out
A couple mins I believe. You can just put a tag over the line and pull it. There really isn’t that much pressure just open the gas cap.
So you don’t need the fuel line that goes down to the fuel tank?
Nope
Does the white wire has to go all the way down?
yup
Do I need injectors to run the E85?
No you can run E on stock injectors. Just get a HPFP and LPFP.
Im tuning my csr next week and vecdone my own installs but thid one has me lost
It’s not that hard. If youve done your own installs you can do it.

Hey what year is your red sport? I believe the 2021+ pin outs could be different
2016, Yea the canbus architecture is different in 21+

It’s the 7th pin from the right. Left of the yellow wire and right of the red one.
Between those two wires (red and yellow) you will have two blank openings with white plugs. It’s the one closest to the yellow wire.

@@richardsolano484 insert the new wire. If there is already a wire in there maybe it already had flex fuel installed.
Can i connect the v2 to fuel it app?
I don’t think the V2 comes with the fuel it Bluetooth connector, so no.
You can buy it separately from fuel-it

do you need the fuel filter to go along with it? if so, does it have to be the ams one cause that thing cost some serious money
You don’t need it, but it’s a good investment. I bought the DW one and installed it between the flex fuel sensor and the HPFP.
@@ZillaFullBoost can you link me to that bruv. and any other similiar. 300 for the ams is a lot considering its 500 for the flex fuel sensor. also since we have this inline with the car computer, we dont have do the e calculator we just full up?

yup. It was an old one I bought from someone that never used it.

@@datvr3097 i bought a pick tool from autozone that was thinner than the port of the ecm. And I just stuck the white cable in with that like I poked the white line pushing it thru with some slight force.
