It's hard to say if Meghan pissed off her stylist (likely) or if she just never listened to her stylist (classic know-it-all move), (or both!) either way, she ended up in some of the worst clothing you could choose for a given occasion over the years & in this week's Royal Fashion Friday we are taking a look back at her early pregnancy looks. Never before has one woman spent so much of someone else’s money, actually her father in laws money, on so many hideous and badly fitting outfits. Does she not possess a mirror? How could she look at herself in a mirror and think she looks good in these outfits? The designers will be paying her not to wear their clothes because she doesn’t help their brand at all.
That is exactly why she has been canceled by name brands. Their clothing line doesn't sell because of how bad it looks on her. Initially, she didn't care but when she thought she was attending the coronation no one would make clothing for her. She'd have to buy off the rack (I'm not sure it would make any difference).

Honestly, I remember reading that, at the time, Prince Charles, gave Catherine 56,000 to purchase a new wardrobe after she and William got married. And the magazine had pictures of everything bought, not including shoes. It covered the rainbow in colors. High end and professional.

Trouble is she always wears clothes that are too small for her stocky frame. She has no dress sense and thinks it’s simply a case of the more money it costs, the better it will look. You can’t buy class.

It’s either the garments are too tight or way to baggy, she has worn outfits previously that were more tailored. Can’t say that the styles were better, but her royal wardrobe is sad yet laughable she thinks she’s a fashion icon.

No style of her own. Most of what she uses seems to be the wrong fit. And she chooses the wrong outfits for her body type.

I think she had a stylist during some of her time as a working royal, because she wore some gorgeous dresses while there. I loved the long read cape dress she wore to Harry’s military function, and the pink off-the-shoulder double breasted suit (the one south park used in their episode). I think after that she tried to style herself, and showing that she has horrendous taste.
She has no waist, so most of her outfits make her look frumpy.
She could have looked just as bad getting her clothes at Walmart and saved the British a boatload of money 😂
She has no idea how to start her foundation. She's the type that will put on a strapless bra and a thong panty and that's all under whatever else she's wearing. Her chest always looks weird when her top is fitted. I don't understand why she doesn't know how bad she looks.
It baffles me how a woman, with such a budget, can make expensive clothing look so cheap. I suspect the main reason she doesn't have clothes tailored is because she sells them on after use.

Usually divorced women do not get Royal Church Wedding but, it seems once again Her Majesty broke PROTOCOL probably because of her love for Harry. As for Megan she wanted all the limelight she could get ,hence the anger of not getting the Tiara she wanted to wear. Have never heard who designs these outfits for her but, she definetly do a good job ...who knows maybe she doesn't like Meghan either????

Her girlfriend Jessica Mulroney who she ghosted in 2021/22. Shes a stylist professionally. But she prob didn't listen to her anyways...
She's a user and a bully. She used Jessica Mulroney, and is using Harry for his connections to the RF. Also, she's a cheapskate, and is well known for wearing designer clothing with the tags on, and then sending them back for a refund. Google some of her pics, you can clearly see the tags! And, the reason that she and the Beckhams had a tiff is because the wanted Victoria Beckham to "give" her clothing without her paying for them!!!

Agreed! Its like she looks at a picture or clothes on a model and decides she likes it and gets it, even though it would never look like that on her. Spaghetti straps are for slightly underweight, flat chested females. I was a scrawny young woman but my breasts were too big for spaghetti straps, they looked vulgar on me. Meghan is thin but she is too heavy for spaghetti straps (and too old). Meghan always looks bad because she NEVER takes advise of any kind from anybody - ever. Each outfit of hers is its own expensive "one off" and nothing is part of a wardrobe.

In addition to all the things you said, I find Meghan's color choices extremely boring. She clearly loves neutrals, but these do not flatter her complexion/coloring. As she's a "Winter" (like me), she ought to wear jewel tones consistently. Those and other bright colors would do a lot more for her.

The monarch had dress restrictions that have been talked about for DECADES. The Queen, as i recall 🤔, absolutely detested wedged shoe's. I have no idea why but I do remember no wedges, no other nail polish color than bridal pink or ballerina pink. Recently Catherine was seen wearing a bold color nail polish 💅. I am surprised by how often she looks like she ran into a thrift shop and just grabbed something to wear. Her undergarments do NOT do her any favors either. When she wore that beautiful green dress and hat she didn't have a proper bra on and she actually ruined the whole look. She is a pretty woman but you don't notice because of her lack of style.
That green cape looked like it was choking her, even though it was not, when it was pulling to only one side. Pretty color but lopsided. OK, I speak for myself and open it up for everyone else... I think we all have watched from the beginning the downward exposure of this person. We've, seen bad choices in behaviour and clothing. Attacks on HMTQ & PP & RF members. I am, as well as others are expressing our true disgust, dissapointment at this total monster of a show. I think it's despicable but truly justifiable. Not to be mean but this woman desperately needs body shaping Spanx/undergarments. She falsely believes that she just has to put on label/high end clothes and automatically it will make her stylish. I know women who bargain shop for clothes and they can look like a million bucks. The cable actress thinks she has the body frame of Catherine, she doesn't. Neither do I and millions of women. We aren't all blessed to be 5'10, slender figure, long slim legs and a perfect figure even after having given birth to 3 children.

This is what happens when someone chooses clothing based on the brand or the name, rather than what looks and fits good. The cheapest thrift store find can look fabulous if it's something that suits you and most of all if you carry yourself with elegance rather than self advertising.

I don’t know… it seems that no matter how expensive her clothes are or fashionable they are supposedly , her choice of clothes , become less valuable that they look like bought from a mall rack. But if someone else with class wears them the clothes are more pronounced expensive. In her case something is just really off about her choice of clothes for her features and body.

if I had to describe Meghan's " type of fashion" in one word.. it would be " non-existent.." .. The absolute tackiest and ugliest dress she has worn was the red brothel Madam's dress to a very somber event for our vets where harry was the guest speaker. That dress was so inappropriate for the occasion with a front slit that was almost to her navel, she's flat chested so the top of the dress was too big and she had a lot of back fat. From what a friend told me, she strutted across the stage, naturally in front of Harry though she wasn't a speaker and had that smirk on her face. She was rude to spouses who tried to talk to her and when she wanted to leave Harry was talking to some of our Vet's and out came the claw to pull him away. She was not invited in the first place, he had to ask for an invitation for her, yet she was rude to spouses and others and came across as not wanting to even bother being polite and wanted him to leave when she wanted to leave. I don't know who asked him to be the guest speaker but I'm hoping his wife gave him a big "what the hell" speech on their drive home! LOL harry should have known and told her that her dress was totally inappropriate. What a weenie!

The sad part is in some way Harry sees it as his role to protect Meghan like he felt his mother needed protecting but, that's a bit like setting a bunch of dolphins to protect an orca whale. I would call it Lower Middle Class. She grew up on the lower end and is still making those choices. Lower end is clearly evident in the photos of the childhood home and child’s clothing she is pictured in. Not trying to be snobby just saying unless you have some professional guidance you may continue with what is familiar.
But even then she had bare arms. The shock of seeing bare skin all the way to her armpit, emerge from the slit sleeve was amazing. Just another poke in the eye to conventions of appropriateness for the occasion and respect for the grieving family.

I love your commentary about these outfits. Finally someone says it clearly...she should never do the waisted things. I have the same problem, which is no waist. She just keeps emphasizing her boxy body shape. Also, I agree about the spaghetti straps. They are not really for a 40ish woman, unless you are going to the beach, barbecues, etc. Those straps are for way more casual outings. IMHO...I know she has to have someone advising her on her style of clothing, don't you think?

Apparently she and her gf Jessica Mulroney, who styled her in the beginning ran a scam on KCIII, & pocketed the money & returned the clothes. The undergarments she uses are not right for the clothing. Like her strapless bras she always seems to be wearing. Even under dresses that can have a bra with straps. Like her green cape outfit. One can always see the underwire bra under her clothes. Even that probably isn't the right fit. Her style is yacht girl yachting casual semi resort attire. Her slacks are too long not altered. You could go on for days on her attire and how she appears in public at functions. But, great you did this. I'm sure alot of critics on this topic & person!!

The belts are too high for her short waist. She picks dresses that are too bulky for her small frame. She shows too much shoulder for RF attire. I see a lack of attention to detail. That's why she needs a stylist or fire who she has now. Her clothes need alterations. You're right that she doesn't know her body type.

She just thinks she can wear anything, but everyone has limits when it comes to their features, just part of nature. Makes me wonder if anyone has thought of any pointers cause it’s concerning how she refuses to take the hint she is not a fashionista. In the Kibbe body type, the body structure I guessed she is is the Flamboyant Gamine. The only thing I’d extra note is her torso is short and stocky, apparently she thinks her looong skinny legs are a great highlight but sadly it is how she got nicknamed “chicken legs.” The best comparison I have heard is that someone did a meme of her as a flamingo 😬 but the way she emphasizes her torso and lets her legs take a shot, it doesn’t help her.
She’s very proud of her legs because she is an Anglophile. She likes the idea of having wispy slender legs like Gwyneth Paltrow. In the beginning of her marriage, she tried to look as WASPy as possible. As time progressed, she started upping up the bronzer and self-tanner. Her style now looks like a pathetic cheap version of the Olsen twin’s affluent grandma looks.
She walks with wide steps and stands with her feet far apart, I guess so as to ventilate her nethers….can’t think of another reason.

Your comments are honest about Meghan. Would love to hear more especially about the floor length red number. Hasn't she the money to afford the best advice? I wish I had someone to help me with what best suits me at times. If in doubt, I wear jeans with usually an expensive well fitting shirt or blouse. Best I feel, to have a few good ones than heaps of cheap ones that don't look as good.

Here's mine : the black & white stripy dress looks like a posh prison uniform ; yes the green outfit style looks good on her but the greens are a bad match... the skirt has a hint of teal whereas the shirt is bottle green ; the beige sleeveless double buttoned dress emphasises her square shape but the best gives her a little shape ; the belts around her waist create the illusion of a thinner waistline ; the horizontal striped dress is a disaster as it creates a wider and shorter shape & size ; the last black & white outfit features a large white busy printed top which emphasises her already larger and square shaped body and against the black skirt which slims her already skinny legs simply makes the outfit look hideous.
All the clothes she wore were from designers and she was merching the outfit. It was rumored that Charles found out and had them all returned. It was also rumored she went ballistic when she found out. OBTW she billed the clothes to Charles even though they were free. That's why you occasionally saw tags on them. The green skirt was leather and she claimed she was vegan. No vegan wears any animals products but she wore leather on a regular basis. Meghan is short waisted. She should not wear things with a waist but more tailored fitted clothing.
I do believe the day she decided to leave the RF was they day Charles and Queen Elizabeth told Harry that she was spending obscene amounts on clothing and that she spent 1 million on her wardrobe in her first year as a royal. And we’re not including her weddings dresses which were said to have cost in the million dollar range. She said she would pay for her own wedding dresses, but she didn’t. Givenchy had to call Charles and tell him that they hadn’t been paid and of course Charles paid them immediately and little Missy did nothing but buy more clothes. You are right about the vegan claims. She made a huge fuss about one dish prepared for the wedding breakfast because she insisted she could taste egg in it. The chef insisted that there was no egg in the food, but Meghan would not believe it. Yet, she had no problem wearing a leather skirt. The woman is a total fraud.

The green cape dress was an excellent concept, but seamstresses really let their art down. That massive seam going down the front of the dress, with that cape, made the dress look like, the dressmaker grabbed the drapes from the bedroom.

Probably Jessica Mulroney till that friendship fizzled, however it has been rumored that the palace courtiers tried to advice her about many things, her outfits included, but she was rejecting their help nearly every step. She has a penchant for getting free clothes, shoes and jewelry, etc. etc. She is sent a lot of things and believes that she can pull an outfit together solely using her own experience gained during her working years. Same with hair and makeup. She doesn't really have the stylist flair she thinks she does. At some point in the past belted + short = glamorous to her, so she is using many old tricks, but not picking up new ones. Clothes are usually just mailed to her, often after a bit of begging, there is a guess on the size and no tailoring done (that is the biggest faux pas). The red dress worn recently was fitted on site, but the results were still horrible, so.... I think it would turn her life around overall if she stopped thinking she knows everything and learned how to listen to other people, really listen.
Yes, exactly. You too are spot on! She was sending notices to all designers, couture houses etc.. That she was taking donations (if that's the title). She wasn't supposed to. Royals apoarently buy their own clothes. But it all came to a screeching stop sometime last year. Carolina Herrera sent clothes to the shoot for a mag last summer. Some of it wasn't returned to designer. Then things happened HMTQ died and those tell alls started to come out. The designers started blacklisting her. These fashion houses that sent her clothing took dirty lickings. Sales plummeted, boycotted, stocks fell in these companies. She's now the kiss of death. She couldn't get anyone to dress her for coronation, jewels, dresses etc... She tried getting Angela Kelly the Queens dresser to make her clothes. She's not that dept. She wouldn't take her calls. Those belted dresses make Megain look very Maternal because she has a short torso and no waist. She wears those dresses like my grandmother, boob, at the waist. Plus by always pointing her arms towards her stomach she showcases and accentuates her short torso more. Catherine is tall and model like so can carry these types of dresses extremely well.
