You're doing really well
Agreed. Also, place more motion trackers. Plant one at every "bug hole" and every elevator. They will help you track critters and they can provide a distraction too. They don't cost you anything that doesn't respawn with time.
Stop rushing deploy sentry guns more often
Stop rushing. Stop leaving squad members behind. Stop rushing while carrying people. Understand that the marine carrying someone can't fight and can't run. So don't run the rest of the squad.
Watching this was painful. It's not anything to do with the game. You just aren't paying attention to squad coherency.
Trying to grab everything in a room while you're being hunted. Your guys are going to get captured or killed if you keep ignoring squad coherency.

After watching many different videos, and finding out that game is $40, I look forward to going through it with what I have learned. I will be playing on PS4. I have been studying this game because I love the genre and want to have a fun experience. 😊
when yu have 4 turrets and dont place all when yu know hard fight coming.. God so painfull see how many time yu reload
What im learning from this game. If you try and rush it then you have to reload and it takes you twice as long lol

I think it's deliberate to some extent.
in that defense phase you should have placed all the sentrys around the terminal all facing away from it
Completely unrealistic mechanic, but the best deployment for sentries is often the "circular firing squad", where you have all the sentries pointed at each other, thus defending each other. Just don't try that in real life, LOL.
Gotta admit, I enjoy watching people play games at the highest difficulty as early as possible, and grateful to have stumbled onto your Aliens: Dark Descent playthrough.
That being said, there were A LOT of things that you could've done better, and you seem to intentionally rush things through.

P.s. I'm looking forward to using all the classes, going at my pace and style, and rotating squads. I'm hoping that the controls for PS4 will be smooth during gameplay.
Off topic, if only they made a movie where the marines move so fast hudson probly still be alive ( would have rolled out and nuked from start, and two poilts would be only others along with Burke, unconscious from Hudson rifle butting him in the head for nuking site from orbit) I'd watch that cut
Well that sucks, by the time I collect the goodies in room I have two storm in ( wasn't seen they just come in) I've tried moving apc to catch them) reloaded, tried not getting goodies and still. Umm might have to check what setting ur on as that's some crazy luck
Why is that ammo clip count so high? A code or a glitch?
Well the problem I think has to do with how in certain cinematics your guys shoot and potentially reload, if that happens when you got no ammo clips left then ammo counters can go negative.
The way I got the ammo so high was by switching pistols, reloading said pistols, this was the result.
@@Costin_GamingI tried that a few times in various permutations, and that bug has been fixed, dammit 😀
It's a coding issue called integer overflow, basically setting the item count to the highest possible value, 2147483647. Probably triggered because two units tried to reload at the same time?

What the heck happened that gave you two billion ammo?
Certainly a bug that will disappear once he gets back to base - but he's still picking up all the ammo around leaving nothing for subsequent deployments, LOL
That would be integer overflow. Not sure how it happened though because -1 is too far from overflow to occur because, jugging by number, it is signed integer and he had to get to -2,147,483,647 first. It is a shame that it even could happen because simple check for ammo in reserve is equals 0 in the end of reloading and handling it by giving free reloading or cancel reloading leaving gun empty, could prevent this bug.
How do u have 2 million ammo??
