- This is our second day exploring the Sylhet division here in Bangladesh. Today we decided to rent a driver and head and explore the waterways that surround the city. We met some interesting people, bought some Bangla souvenirs and enjoyed a boat ride along The Maldives of Bangladesh,

Sylhet people’s are uneducated fools.. 🤭 Most illiterate people in Bangladesh are sylhetis.😂
They born and go to london for dishwashing and sewage work
And make some pound, come back Sylhet and boast about their pound but can not properly say a sentence in proper bangla or English 😂
Actually in 1947, when India-Pakistan divided, India divided the border as their own wish. Thats why they took all the big mountain. They made their border with all big moutains. If you go to all the border, then you see all the big mountaina are in indian side. It makes me always laugh, because it shows their lower thinking side. But we are happy with what we have. We always be. 😊

things to visit in Sylhet district: Shada Pathor, Lalakhal, Ratargul
in Sylhet division: Tanguar Haor + Shimul Bagan, Hakaluki Haor, Srimangal.
late winter or early spring is the best for visitng all these places.

@@Sadia_Tabassum24 if you're bangladeshi and can stay on boat, definitely stay one night at Tanguar, during full moon or new moon, if it's your first time, then full moon. better to go in group, family or friends, because boat prices are a bit high.

I have been there back in 2018. Water was blue. This time around looks like water level is way higher than winter. I think during winter is the best option to visit here. Nostalgic, made me emotional.
Btw you can buy land here for few grand, by the shore.

Explore the sylhet as much as you can, try Thai soup in noorjahan restaurant 12 floor , try meat up restaurant in chouhatta and Biriany in Undal restaurant in zindabazar . You can do a day tour to ratargul and also royal Palace resort in bahubal is cool.

Visit hillltracs like Bandarban, Khagrachori, beautiful kaptai lake in Rangamati, worlds largest mangrove forest Sundarbans in Bangladesh.
I think you will love it.
must appreciate about you knowing the other side of the border is Meghalaya which is one of the most beautiful state in India. the state has 77% forest cover and its one of the most greenest place ever full of waterfalls. top 2 wettest place on Earth mawsynram and Cherrapunji are in Meghalaya. Asia's cleanest village Mawlynnong and one of the world's cleanest river dawki lies there too. unique thing about Meghalaya - Living root bridges are among the biggest attractions in the state. Kongthong is the whistling village in Meghalaya where everybody's name is an unique tune.
