    I'm in my last 4 weeks and my midwife recommended squats to help the baby drop. He's head down, but pretty high up. I like the towel idea, but don't have any bars for me to latch on to. Do you suppose I could just hold on to a door frame instead?

    Hi! :)
    I am 28 weeks pregnant and suffer from a tail bone pain and on my buttocks. Would it be safe for me to squat? Also, the days I work I usually always get a cramp on my calf either left or right calf. Could this be because I don't work out?
    Thank you for your time reading my comment, I really appreciate it. God bless...

      Hi Leslie. I too get sciatic back pain and hip pain. Have you tried pelvic rocking? I find that it helps to relieve some of the pain and well as serves as an exercise to help prepare you for labor.

    how about on 3rd trimester? how many squats should i do?

    • @PerFranck
      @PerFranck Před 9 lety

      Narj Gee First: Talk to your physician to see if they think you can do squats safely, then, start doing a single set of 10 squats, following these instructions. Be sure to have something/one to hold on to the first time you do it in case you lose balance. Stop if you feel faint or you feel piercing pain anywhere. If you can do ten (or less) without feeling pain or discomfort (other than dull exercise pain in your legs) then you can do it again over the week. Start with 1-10, as many as you can. If you feel ok over the week, repeat this, up to 2-4 sets (groups with rest in between) of 10-15 squats to 3-4 times a week as suggested by the poster.
