    Anyone else waking up to a nice Fluff vid?

    It’s a great pedal and so versatile. Definitely not an end all drive, but really can achieve so many tones. Fluff’s demo is awesome but what he didn’t explore is all the kinds of boost options within the pedal. Say, boost the fuzz drive with a treble booster for some J. Mascis tones. Or a light Centaur drive with a fuzzy lead setting. Make a gated ts preset to goose the front end of your high gain channel, a fuzz preset for the clean, and a filthy blues driver or od rhythm preset.

    Love the vids, did this sound better live? Your comparison to others i have seen are vastly different. maybe it's the orange head but it sounds more muddy here than others i have seen demo it. thanks man.

    Will this work on bass with like a mxr bass preamp? Like the drive sounds !! Sounds great!!

    I hope they would make a SD version of this. even though its pretty much an all in one pack.

    would this be good for straight into my focusrite then into my ableton daw? I have issues mic'ng my amp (sleeping wife) and also the XLR outs on my amp seem too much gain. I've tried STL Tonality plugins but feel they lack the real / live sound. Looking for a solution for great tone into DAW.

      Joshua Watkins Most of that distortion is coming from volume clipping. I'm assuming that's because his cleans quite quiet but he ups the volume in post?

  • @ratnajyotichakraborty1092

    You always only have one of two of pedals that you use all the time even if you have more on your board.This is no exception therefore many of the pedal sounds I wouldn't use because I would would have a couple of favourites only.

  • @duncanearley
    @duncanearley Před 4 lety

    That was a good video, but you didnt explain the boost bit. Its not just a straight volume boost. You can use the boost button to select a second overdrive. So use a screamer to boost the brown sound for example. The pre and post bit applys to the boost.

    Some would say that this pedal having a Klon Centaur and Noise gate mode would justify the price of admission.

    Uhhh...I bought a new Boss Katana-50 MKII for $220 that has all those overdrives (plus so many other effects) available through the software..so what's the point of this?

  • @mehegama

    Please please please, when you say clean channel, DO NOT sound like AC/DC. it affects the tones that come out of the pedals and distorts their functionality.

    I find a lot of the models sound the same, just different levels of gain. I feel like it’d be better to buy 2-3 unique $50- $100 pedals...same ish price more variety of tones

    • @seangriffey8669
      @seangriffey8669 Před 4 lety +3

      I could easily see the use in a live setting, but I personally agree. Unique pedals are more fun anyway.

    • @geirisk8
      @geirisk8 Před 4 lety +9

      The reason it sounds the same isn't the pedal, it's the way it's being used.

    • @nickm.9474
      @nickm.9474 Před 4 lety +1

      In a live setting this would be great. Could free up 3 loops on my switcher.

    • @GearGasms
      @GearGasms Před 4 lety +1

      Sean Griffey yeah it would save board space and power in a live setting for sure but it just doesn’t wow me like having 5 completely different pedals would. Something sounds modelerish to me

    • @freepadz6241
      @freepadz6241 Před 4 lety +4

      He's feeding it into a lightly over driven amp, which is heavily colouring the pedel, and in turn making everything sound the same

  • @GearGasms
    @GearGasms Před 4 lety +1

    Something about it reminds me more of modeling than it does of having different pedals. And that’s not a compliment sadly. It’s a no for me, dawg. 🤓🎸🤘🏻

    1:34...... Once again your base tone.... IS NOT CLEAN! We want to actually hear these pedals man, come on. Thumbs down just because of this.

    Firstly, please turn off this orange amp... then plug this pedal to some anlther amp, but choose carefully the one without farting. However, try using potentiometers in OD-200. You will surprise yourself.
