There is a chance the filming was made with both at the same time, either way it was edited to put both of them really close to each other.
At that distance they should bump at each other at several timestamps, and they didn't, so it was overlaid with video editing.

Watch their faces, the one on the left is feeling the music and the one on the right is more in her head. On my monitor they are shaded differently as well, left is warm for feeling and right is cooler color for thought. I could be way off but it look like the left girl is an open soul who feels everything and the right girl is a book reading lover of knowledge.
when i hear this song i am reminded of that old saying, " their bark is worse than their bite". To me what is implied is that these wolves may be unable to physically hurt you but their words tear through you. you wouldn't be running from their bites, but their words and words hurt more than any physical injury can. an injury may leave a physical scar but the initial pain and damage is repaired, but sometimes emotional damage lasts a lifetime and never fades or goes away. so in essence a wolf without teeth's best weapon is their words not their bite.

A wolf is also an old slang term for a person who is aggressively chasing women in a bad way and also for anyone disguising themselves as a friend when they are really a foe. "wolves in sheep's clothing" is also one saying that reflects this and "the wolves of wall street" meaning that someone is money hungry enough and ruthless and will do anything to climb the cooperate ladder. so it basically means that sometimes what appears to be friendly can be actually massively destructive.

This song has some of the most interesting choreography in it. It's fun to watch. The slight differences in their movements are cool to spot. Their hair flailing about helps too, lots of little movements in the background as they dance.

Personally, I feel that this song is about commitment and trust and how they can be such terrifying and beautiful things when it with the right person. i fell in love with this video, i couldn't stop smiling at their pure, wild spirits. and as i watched i started noticing their differences more and more. one expressed more through movements and the other more through percises facial expressions and i almost felt like i was starting to get to know them. this is truly art

Though we are wired to be attracted to symmetry, they decided to emphasis asymmetry within the video, it shows a-symmetry of identical twins, clearly the director could have called cut at every differentiation, instead, it seems as if they exaggerated the difference in movement, making a point of the different ways people with the same nature can turn out, I think it's because we are also wired to view flawed gestures as relatable.

It's beautiful how they choose a huge variety of people for these videos!! They are one of the most unique bands I have ever heard and I've been listening to them for years! Most just make an audio video with just an image but they practically do a music video in EVERY SONG!!

Someone mentioned this song was about the soul, and that does make some sense. However, I like to think that instead it's about one's past, their demons, their regrets, and dreams that never were. The wolves. The empowering notion that you can move forward despite these wolves, as long as you're moving forward...your past has no teeth.

They are twins. Their names are Erna and Hrefna, and a photographer was fascinated by them and made a photo series on them. He talked about how they sometimes acted as one, even though they were very different.
Dusk Flower the photographer is a female, from Japan, who comes back every summer to take pics of the girls and show the changes they are making from innocent children to adulthood, all while capturing their unique bond and how similar, yet individual they are. It's quite fascinating.

The right one was focusing on the path, concentrate so they would not be lost. You can't diagnose personality by single sample in single type of situation. Mostly because introvert/extrovert is simplification telling about MAJORITY for examined person. Extroverts will probably act more "introvert" and introverts - more ""extrovert" in certain situations. Ironically art is common example for 2nd.

Actually I think this is somewhere in between commercial music and pure art. Listen to Purity Ring, that's a little more artsy, her voice is haunting and they use very unusual sounds, but it is beautiful.

This song.... the lyrics, they're not for a man or a woman, they all make MUCH more sense if one would think that its about the SOUL, that the lyrics are dedicated to one's soul itslef, just. just PLEASE listen to the song with that in mind, it all makes SO much sense, it even explain why they're two of the same girl on screen singing to each other.

hm... I don't get the vibe on that angle... I get where you are geting at but it sounds more like two individual beings rather than two parts of the same soul. The eay I interperate it is that there are two beeings, posibly siblings, that are dependent on eachother but the people around them frown upon theire relationship. It seems to me that for all the hardships they endure, they only seem to grow closer.
It's not that I compleatly dissagree with your interpretation, I just think they seem to seperate to be one soul

Those girls are twins. I read about them, the photographer who took photos of them since they were very young were fascinated by how they sometimes acted as one. One would be shy, one would be more outgoing, and they would switch roles, but they would finish each other's sentences sometimes and had sort of a spiritual connection despite their differences in personality.
