Great work! I'm about to do this job myself. I bought a blaster with no spark, bought and installed an ebay stator, and now it will start, idle, and not rev at all. The engine bogs like crazy, no matter how much throttle you give it. I'm going to install the Moose Racing coils and inductive pickup onto the new base plate, because it does allow for timing adjustments. The stock stator doesn't allow that unless you're willing to slot the mounting holes. It's well-documented that those cheapy eBay stators are very bad quality, and many people report the same problems.
Martain J I need to know Have you install a stater with numbers on it I have one with no numbers and I got one with numbers on it the one with no numbers do not work so I bought one and it has numbers on it what number do I set it to
I have spark, but it's super weak. The atv starts but only if i give it some gas and it wont itdle. Do you think it could be because of the weak spark? I have testet the coil and its ok, i have a new spark plug cap and it is in spec. The cdi is getting only from 1 to 2v. What do you think?
I might have the compression checked cause my top end got blown 2X. The other things besides spark are air and gas flow needed to keep her running.... thanks for the corner stop.!!
@@PappysCorner The engine has been rebuilt qouite recently and before i changed my reeds and painted the atv it was running fine. It is getting a bunch of gas i think its flooding the motor. but what ever i do with the jetting it doesnt change. And yes i have cleaned and rebuilt my carb.

can i leave it in and do this? my stator bolts are stripped and ceased up
Not for this one you need access both sides. Good luck with them bolts.

@@SimasMc If it is getting to much gas and you think your jetting is correct, then check the float height. After that, check need position.
