BTW, we of these channels made a FASCINATING discovery this week: It seems that "IMDB" (originally non-abbreviated as Internet Movie Data Base and now owned by Amazon) has created profiles for ALL OF US in the CZcams hosting/presenting game on the various Pro and TPP channels and friends. That's fine and dandy, but in my case HILARIOUSLY indicative of why bots and AI and such automated pseudo-intel are not about to take over the known universe quite yet. You see, they have MERGED the REAL Lew Wasserman AND me into ONE profile, thus they present his birth and DEATH dates and appearances, THEN list all of mine hereabouts, quite LITERALLY making me into his...well...GHOST I guess! Hilarious, huh?

I’ve been binge-watching this show and I want to say that you guys are doing a FANTASTIC JOB!!
I’ve wondered about the pregnancy question myself in the past and I LOVED hearing about the origins of Hollywood. The whole rating spiel reminds me of when the government basically demanded that all the big video game companies Nintendo, Sony and Sega get together and decide on a rating system due to controversies of violence in the 90s. They used the game “Nighttrap”, which is cheesy by todays standards as an example of why they needed a change.
So after the court battles, the ESRB was created.
Back in the late 70's and early 80's the concept of the blockbuster came about, but had there been any movie's prior that could be compared and we didn't have a word for it?
I know the term “summer blockbuster” was coined from when Jaws came out. My parents told me that it was so realistic people were super freaked out to go to the beach that whole summer. (They lived in Florida)
Y’all should go into depth about how Marry Poppins (*obviously the a little before Walt’s Death)& Who Framed Roger Rabbit. They’re technical MARVELs for what they were able to do. I’m going to try watch Marry Poppins because I’m not sure if I have.

Here’s another question: I’ve been listening to the Dragnet radio show starring (and created by?) Jack Webb. Were the actors just making quieter footsteps to make it seem like they were walking down hallways? What about pouring rain, wind blowing or cars starting? TL;DR How did they/what did they use make the movie in your head feel so real with JUST sounds?

A short simple answer here instead of the show, trooperdonnie is, "Nope" but occasionally chatted with her at various events. Very savvy lady indeed, and so was Desi--in fact, Desi's invention of multi-camera filmed sitcoms when he made "I Love Lucy" is part of the reason why I had a career AND the reason he made millions to found his and Lucy's "Desilu" empire.
