- How many remember Jnco Jeans? This one is a bit older than some of the other brands, from a trend perspective, but for those in the 28-40 ish age range def know what I'm talking about.
In the 90s Jincos were a huge part of culture, I never personally got into them, but they were huge back then.
They became a staple of tons of suburbia anti authority kids all over the country.
But as fast as they hit the scene, they faded away, how and why? Well, let's find out.

I borrowed a pair of these jeans, wore them to school and became about 50% more popular in one day.
I started to wear Jenco's in early 2000 and still nowadays that I'm 47👍
they're low-key back in style, if not jncos, then definitely the super baggy fit
Skated in Jnco mammoths back in the day. Now that you make me think about it, I have no damn clue how I landed tricks, but some how I did.

I always wanted a pair a JNCO👖jeans, but was never able to achieve it...😔...I'm still striving for it today...🤘🏼💯✔️
I skated in my JNCO jeans, but not all of them. It really depended on what model, I had two out of like 8 different models that I actually could skate in cause they weren't super huge at the bottom like all the other models were
That makes sense, some of the bigger sizes had to make it impossible
Actually Air Doplhin does it with 69" inches models such as the Crime Scene and the Mammoth
I had several pairs of these and I wish I still had all of them. They were extremely comfortable well made and withstood a lot of wear and tear. I haven't had denim of that quality ever since.

@@customfantasyhotwheels I ordered a pair from the website they should be here in a few days. The best I can help for is it's almost as good as they were back in the 90s as far as quality. What a great time to be alive that decade was.

I still wear my JNCOs, Paco, and Lee Pipes, especially if I go rollerblading. People love them. I always get stopped and get asked if my jeans are JNCO.

My best friend in high school wore nothing but Jnco. I remember when he came in with the 63” (around the feet) khaki colored pants. Sixty-three inches!!!
You should do a history video on hysteric glamour and fuct there’s close to no video presence of those brands or anybody explaining where they came from but they’re damn near in the 1st wave of streetwear that weren’t skate companies.

Jnco came back in 2014 under new Chinese owner Guotai. The initial run wasn't up to snuff. A few years later, the original owners, the Revah family, took it back over and once again began pumping out quality denim like we remember. Jnco is back, and the Zoomers are digging them, too.
Heh...still got the ones that I kept, and still wear them.
We used to wear giant jeans that would fray near the bottom and up the outside seam. You repaired the fray by attaching some fabric in a triangle pattern. This was mid-90s. Jnco’s got tighter in 98/99. Kikwear and UFO’s were more experimental with material and styles. At one point jnco went away while those companies were still on shelves.

I have the 50" wide bottoms I dubbed my sweet sweepers 🤣, I grew up, but still have my jeans, I was into inline skates, punk, hiphop and raves, and my jeans fit right in, I also still have my Kikwear and caffine jeans and UFOs too 😅 Gen X was the best, I have been slowly bringing them out of storage on fridays lol,

jncos are best for skating because with how loose they are you dont even feel them on your leg, they are the least restrictive jeans possibile. to avoid the bottoms from catching on stuff you just buy them a size small on length or cut them

Jnco never released a 69 inch pair both the comment and the picture are referencing the Kikwear company's version/parody against JNCOs mammoths with bigger and better pair calling them the 69ers
Jnco started off hip hop and they went goth and metal and that killed them 🤷🏾♂️
Used to ride BMX with them,I just had to roll up the right leg usually. Although I never owned the Jncos with the ridiculous openings.
