Boobie Eyes, 5 mm Yellow

Why so necessary for competition?? Mini streamer? As big of a fly you can legally throw?

In the UK home internationals this would be the biggest fly and hook that you can use though in the worlds you can use any size if I remember right...

on the video the straggle frizt looks like 15mm and not 10. Is this really a 10?
Is this fly effective in streams/rivers as well as lakes?

It's more of a lake/loch pattern though there's nothing to say it will not fish well in the streams and rivers as it fishes well as a small fry pattern as well as an attractor pattern..
