Personally I don’t play with anything I just tell them what to do

alexa, wavedash into quadruple EWGF
Alexa, go masku.
Bro's playing pokemon at this point
Keyboard, I'm a masochist
hit box is like keyboard but more comfortable, you can get out some keys and have similiar experience
@@MikeleKonstantyFiedorowiczIV keyboards with quality keys and switches are quite a bit cheaper then most hitbox's and i don't need to get on a wait list.
@@MikeleKonstantyFiedorowiczIV keyboard is more cheap more customisation option according to your preference low input delay
lol why masochist? Keyboard best for fighting
that the fact, keyboard electronics evolving, arcade stick pcbs are like from 8 years ago.@@rd3munna812
Bro why u hold the D- pad like that. Thats Crazy 😂😅
Easier to do combos.
That way is easier to connect combos, but as someone who has played like that since kid, I have to say that it fks up ur thumb for life, for real.
You guys hold it differently? Holding it like that feels like playing on stick, at least with Tekken
No its not, it might have been in Tekken 5 since you couldn't map 2 inputs on a single button but in T7 there is no reason to. @@rmcf3972
Claw grip, bro. If you like using all your fingers for better execution.
Stick all the way. I bought an Etokki Omni for playing Mishimas and never looked back!
Man, I strongly recomend you give arcades a chance and even more leverless ones. The learning curve is long but it's much more satisfying to play with them.
I've never used a stick, or a hit box. They look pretty intimidating to me.
@@DropoutJerome it only has a long learning curve, It hurts in beggining, but your skills Will bê improved.
@@rodrigoaraujo7323it's opposite for me when I was kid I played most off games on arcade mashines which operates by inserting coin i can't imagine how people make full circles or half circle on controller and keyboards,i can't even control gta charrracter while playing on controller
Justin Wong is using the Etokki Omni as his main stick now! Must be very good 👍
Just bought a pxn-8, basically a mixbox fo 70€. It's great for execution, especially for the Mishimas. I will have too rebuild my muscular memory from zero, but at the end of the path it'll be easier. I still struggle to do the electrics or wavu with my ps4 controller.
Bro, I use keyboard playing tekken 7. Still can't do flashy combos but at least I can block, punish... The fundamental stuff at least. Armor King Main btw
keyboard should be easier no??
@@skwadboss For me at least...well I have been a pc player since God knows how long so I am quite unfamiliar with controller or joysticks.
@@skwadboss But it's still hard to execute some half circle commands.
I usually use D-pad and I tried to use keyboards a few days ago cause I got frustrated fighting against stick user cause I can really see the speed difference ( I cant find any sticks in my area atm as majority of stores had sold out). I struggled a LOT, stucked in practice for 3 hours and only managed to do my combo ONCE
With console stick you can use d pad or analog or both at the same moment, so it's a win win
Stick is my preferred option. I know i could perform better with pad or leverless, but playing with stick is the least tiring and it just feels natural to use.
If your a hardcore fighting gamer and want to be good I recommend getting a fight pad from Hori or any good priced fight pad as it is better than using your normal controller for fighting games, but it’s all up to you for your own journey
Stick better
You mean alhpa fighting stick?
Can you write the names? Do you refer to the Xbox hori flight pad on Amazon?
@@Zencho639 any hori fighting commander
What can you recommend for tekken? I've heard hitbox is the best "bc of Korean back dash and stuff" but I see most pro players using stick.. I'm kinda confused so can you help.
Sega Saturn controller for the win.
That’s exactly how I use my ps5 controller with Tekken 8💀
But i have a question - if you hold dual sense controller the way u have shown then how do you do QCF and QCB using d-pad. Bcoz i can not do QCF and QCB Without the left joystick
Just switched to Hitbox (Kitsune) a few days ago... trying to get my grove back.
how are you liking it?
@@sluggie3755 So far I am getting more comfortable playing Tekken 8 I am still not completely comfortable doing up+forward and up+back inputs yet but that will come eventually other wise its been fun.
You use two fingers on a regular controller to hit the face buttons and dont use the bumper/trigger on the right side?
No lie if you play a Kazuya or Jin on pad the easy one is the Xbox-Series-x controller lowkey should be illegal how easy it is. Wave dash is smooth like butter.
Is it really. How is it easier? I'm on k lever stick now
@@kyquinn502 It's because how the d pad is made. I can't really explain but it makes the inputs easier. Especially on the right side. it's like the controller was made for wave dash. It probably better to use a stick but if you ever want a to play pad xbox series x controller all the way. Easier to use then a pa5 controller.
@@kingvinny6805 bet I'll get one then to try thank you!
You ain’t lying i been doing electrics like crazy on the new xbox pad I don’t know what it is
Its because the d-pad is really clicky very short travel time no mushy feeling like what you get from a ps2 controller for example
What stick are you using in this video?
Just moved in to mixbox type! Easier to do consistently wavu for mishimas, and electric. Ps4 controller cant take the punishment so my dpads get worn out fast.
Pad all day for me. PS5 pad specifically since that’s what I’m used to now
I am not a fan of that pad at all. Feels like I have to push harder than the DualShock 4
To use a stick you have to be literally a gaming athlete because you're using more muscles (tendons) to play and you REALLY have to get into a game using a stick.
The other options are less demanding by conparison (I repeat, BY COMPARISON)
hitbox is a must for tekken- electrics and korean wavedashs will destroy your hand if you play tekken with stick.
If you like playing shotos (think ryu, ken, makoto) and combo/charge heavy characters (juri, chun li, guile, akuma) then hitbox would be better for you. I am using stick at the moment and I find myself dropping my combo by accidentally jumping.
also, sticks tend to be heavier. I have a mini hitbox for local tourneys. I keep my arcade stick at home, but if I do ranked then I'll switch to hitbox because opponents have a harder time predicting my inputs since they dont see my character shimming around in preparation for a special move.
Its Generational thing... for me who grow up in the arcade im used to fight stick.. and many good player that maybe started playing from ps3 era used to ps controller and still can dominating the scene..
I play Tekken on pad on PC - recently switched from an old XBox controller to a Hori Fighting Commander and it’s so much easier to get clean diagonal inputs.
Hey man. I’m coming from Smash and Fighterz. Would the commander be a good fit for me? I’m considering stick for Street Fighter 6 and find modern easier for execution but I feel like having the octagonal gate would be perfect for me on classic mode.
@@Itslewcariobuy commander octa, it won’t break the bank and it’ll make your inputs on pad so much easier on the long run.
True, FC4 is the best controller you can get for that game IMO and Ive tried everything.
Both, Ps4 controller and Arcade stick, the Mayflash f300
k-lever definitely the most fun controller
honestly im quite happy with my old xbox controller. You still need to practice your execution(especially going right to left with your char) but it works quite well.
My sister played Tekken 3 with pad like that 😂
Arcade stick always! Got to respect fighting game origins and traditions and it's the most interactive and fun way to play. I use a Hori VLX Premium with a Seimitsu LSX-Nobi-Pro and Seimitsu PS-14-GN buttons.
Stick setup. I wanna make a custom arcade stick Seimitsu LS-62 stick with Qanba Gravity buttons and some sorta shoot ‘em up theme with it , probably one of the CAVE games.
@@antonivi8968qanba gravity are great i can confirm
It depends on the game.
Fight Stick & Leverless I both use. Pad, Hell No! It's too damn hard to play on Pad.
Hitbox.
Arcade stick
How do the move button controls work on a pad? 😊
Hitbox
Just getting into fighters so I’ll use my controller (Claw and dpad movement) onde I’m fully immersed I may change to fight stick
All 3
I use a snackbox pad was starting to hurt my hands
KingJae holding DS4 like a noob 😂
Started with a super nintendo controller for sf2 now using a arcade stick
Stick, more fun and more natural
I LITERALLY CANNOT HOLDING DS4 LIKE THAT :'v
I have to use a fightstick for playing E. Honda in Street Fighter for those hundred hand slap combos but otherwise I just use a pad no problem
Arcade Stick
I hit stuff like shoryukens better with hit box/keyboard (I have had the unfortunate experience of using a keyboard 💀), but i feel like I have a better connection with movement and more control and fluidity when using a fight stick. Controller is better than keyboard but having to use shoulder buttons separates the heavy attacks too much, I also tend to default to analogue stick when I do use controller.
Whats your pick for tkn 8??
Honestly I just found out recently I’ve been holding my joystick wrong this whole time. This video also confirms that lmao
I would copy my father’s hold when we would play Tekken 2 on ps1, but from where he learned it from I have no idea.
No wrong way at all. Depends on the person, and what you're playing. Pure preference.
Guitar hero
But i have a question - if you hold dual sense controller the way u have shown then how do you do QCF and QCB using d-pad. Bcoz i can not do QCF and QCB Without the left joystick
you shouldnt use the joysticks at all
@@aquilescastro1335 yes sir. Now i am getting used to d-pad
Who is better, arcade stick or hitbox?
Controller
Hitbox for 2d fighters, pad for Tekken "PS5 controller"
I use my trusty old Xbox controller lmao
Stick till I die
I use a Xbox One pad for Tekken 7 on my Xbox one S and a Fightstick on my Switch
2D arcade stick.
3D control.
I got a mixbox for Tekken i barely use i mostly play on pad
I think arcade stick and pad is best. Hitbox is op, but now they are officially banned in most tournaments so idc about them anymore 😂
Screen touch 🗿🗿🗿🗿
Keyboard on any fighting game. Like why would I choose an expensive equipment.
depends on the game, for sf, i play on a stick, bec my main requires me a lot of zigzag movement, and half circle movement. I can do that on a pad too but it hurts for a long while. For tekken, i play on a pad. Its much faster and cleaner than a stick. I never tried hit box bec shipment to my country makes it not worth it.
A decade-old ps4 controller with wonky ahh keys
Controller an stick for me that hit box looks tooooo complicated for me 😅
Keyboard!
Stick all the way.. tried hitbox (i love it when I play 2d games but im a grappler so it doesnt fit for me with the 720 motions :/ )
fightstick
Playing on keyboard, it's easier to enter inputs
What if you play all three? ..........
I use controller with the analog
Fight stick and Razer Kitsune
Keyboard and controller like everyone else
Fightstick
Im scared for any controller i spam the hell outta games
I use the joystick on a controller 😅
Keyboard cause that's all I have now
Left hand on awsd right hand on ps5 controller when im tired, sry i play guile 😂.
......i use the sticks of my ps5 controller i hate the d pad tbh
I play on pad
pad for dbfz and ggst, and stick for tekken and street fighter
HORI 🕹️🔘🔘🔘🔘
.............🔘🔘🔘🔘 ❤
HORI does feel really good for fight stick 🙂↕️
Some stupid crazy way to use a controller.
I just use a controller i might buy a arcade stick but the prices for them are too much out of my budget
Same same, but I really want to start Tekken 8 with one. Looks like a lot of fun
@@Marvin102it's all the same 😅
@@sikwitit773 tbh, its too easy to do combos in Tekken 8. I will stay playing with pad haha
mechanic keyboard red swtiches
I don't see how yall play crab on pad.
broke so keyboard
PS2 controller
Hitbox all the way
Pad
Analog stick
Hitbox is so overpriced it ain’t even compatible with current gens but they want 250 for it
Keyboard, im poor.
I use keyboard cuz im brawlhalla player
Keyboard. Don't have money for any of those
Calling Akuma an anime character is insane 😭
