- A DETAILED user guide on setting up and using modules 1545 and 3229 which are found in most regular squares including: DW-5600, DW-5000, DW-5025, DW-5030 and all their color variants.

Pulled my G-Shock DW-5600BB out of its tin, and pulled up this tutorial right after that. Great tutorial!
I had lost my manual and was going wacko trying to reset my watch for returning to standard time. Went on line looking for a manual and saw this video which I watched from beginning to end and had my watch reset in no time. I also learned several things I could do with the watch that I have owned for several years but was unaware of. Great tutorial and easy to follow.
Wow -- absolutely outstanding! Very clearly explained. I used to have a G-Shock similar to this "back in the day," late 80s, but misplaced it in Japan when I was working there. My wife bought me another one Christmas of 2018, and I've been using it, but a lot of these functions have changed somewhat since I had one, and I couldn't figure out a few things. Also, there are cool functions I never ever knew about until watching this video. Thanks!

I just got a casio 3229. The main reason I went with it was for the count down alarm. If the watch isn't held up to my ear. It can't be heard. Same with the hourly beep. I've been using Casio watches for 35 years. They are usually great watches. Maybe I got a lemon. Glad I got it at walmart for an easy return

Since being a german resident, it is the go to setting for hours here, since the 24h system is standard on European mainland, same as the metric system.

Nice and detail review. I also prefer to this module because I can see current time in timer or stopwatch mode. Also the auto repeat function is very handy for timing hydration period during physical exercise.

Great video, it made it easy to understand and learn not so obvious features. I love this watch for how simple it is, not a fan of the 100,000 feature watches and their overly aggressive look.

Relaxing video. Watching with DW5000-1JF on my wrist, which is appropriate :) These G Shocks are timeless. I think there's only one better and that would be the DW5600C with 691 module and CR2320 battery. Find these with original! bezel is becoming very difficult. Time displayed in all modes is a must. I personally don't care about world time in newer modules (3159).

Great vid. I've had a military 5600 for like 10 years and never knew what that star symbol meant. I too, like the all you need nothing you don't. What I would change though is for the alarm, if you could specify which days of the week it's on. Eg: 2-6 is M-F, or 7-1 is Sat-Sunday. I would also like it if after you press the backlight button, any other button press kept the light on.

I have a Dw 5600 BB. It has the 3229 module. The stated battery life is 2 years, which is surprising considering the original dw5600 lasts around 10 years. Do you know what's the real difference between newer modules and the original ones? The same goes for other fashion oriented gshocks that aren't solar. Great channel btw, the most useful !

I've purchased two of these back to back with 3229s and both have super weak alarm and timer chimes. Is there a way I can fix that ?
Nope, solar watches tend to be a bit quieter than regular battery operated models
Is there a way to turn the beeping off when you push the buttons to cycle through the functions?

Hi, I'm having an issue with my 5610, it's just won't go to H indicator I don't know why, even though I left it in the sun for almost 4 hours, but still no progress it's still in the M indicator.
M is pretty wide range of battery level, just keep doing it a couple more days and wear it normally
