Superb video! It's a testament to Panasonic, that with the FZ1000, they set their own bar so high when they brought this camera out 5 years ago, that it is still relevant & holds its own today!

I recently bought an FZ1000, new, for $439. I could not justify paying almost $900 for the FZ1000 II. The feature set just isn't enough better for my photography. So yes I agree with you.

@@brianluscher1107 Same, The 2 is the same camera basically, same sensor, same processor, same everything literally same lens, really has no upgrades.

Another excellent tutorial, better than most others on the internet, and in superb quality. I would add that everything you said was relevant, but personally I find that most adjustments you mention can be done in software, and that gives you time to take a photo quicker - and tweak it later.

Thank you Graham for another great video. (I have noticed and been playing with , the two extra AWB’s in the 1002. They are a good addition I feel. ). I am away at the moment but when I get home I will watch this again more carefully !

Thanks Graham. I shot 300 pics at the zoo this past weekend and after inspecting the photos discovered several over exposed. I suspect that had I used the 'highlight' indication, I could have adjusted camera settings to better capture the scenes.

@@GrahamHoughton12 Not about the camera in particular but type of photos.I actually found an older video about night time photography that you did, which is great information! Have you considered doing one on astrophotography?

I watched with joy the first five FZ1000 Tutorials by Graham. Is there a sixth video? Did he make the Auto Focus and/ Zoom tutorial for the FZ1000 that he hinted he intended to do in the part five video? If not, which of his other videos do you recommend I view next? Thanks in advance, Eric

Graham: Love your videos. Purchased all three of your books as I now own the fz1000.
I would have liked to have seen you set up and shoot the purple flowers with the manual white balance.
Also, I cannot find the video on manual focus for the fz1000. Did you make one?
As always, every time I watch your videos I learn something new.
    Thank you.

Is it normal while in constant preview for the screen to smear when paned from left to right? The viewfinder does it also on the fz300
