Honestly the standing ovation krillin git after a heck of an opponent, nobody expected him to win against always made me slightly emotional, especially after roshi talking about how proud he is

I wouldn't say he really gets "clowned" anywhere. The death that people make fun of him for in Z is legitimately tragic and emotional (and is a fight that he won), and he only loses as early as he does in the stuff before that because he's always put up against opponents that pretty much nobody has a chance against at the start of each tournament. If it were any other opponent he'd be doing much better in the match.
This has got to be the only Yamcha defense comment in the history of the internet

He never really got done justice throughout the entire series, he lost by a wave of the hand when he fought Rossi while krillin has an actual battle with him and tien messed his leg up badly even doh it was a somewhat close fight and then this 😂
