This video is a perfect demonstration of "There is no such thing like best anime of all time or best anime character." I thought that those legendary characters like Naruto, Goku, and Luffy are going to be absolute favorites. But no, there are people who hate them as much as any other character, despite their massive reputation. People are so different and conflict in term of taste and perspective. Although it can be annoying and uncomfortable when your favorite character is hated and criticized by someone, but still I respect every choice they make. Great video

Code Geass was one of the most cliché anime I've ever seen. Mega lazy writing, beyond predictable and I still masochistically punished myself through the whole thing. I'm convinced it's childhood nostalgia that's giving people fond memories of the show, but if you first watch that shit as a non autistic adult, it'll blow hard.

Bebop is a character study. "We put X character in Y situation, how do they behave" as opposed to being more plot driven like One Piece where we know there's this special thing everyone is looking for, driving the story forward.

As we speak about Shonen anime, then Dragon Ball, Bleach with kinda interesting story, HxH and JoJo. For characters personality and backgrounds it would be Senku and Asta. Of course everything comes to the preferences, and the only good and right spots they did target is Natsu, FMA, One Piece (It's actually at A/S), AoT (i believe), Naruto, MHA, Shinra and Pokemon.

My rank is Goke 1 for og classic grandfather of the Shonen. 2 luffy favorite most lovable character. 3 Naruto arguably the best stories in terms of philosophy and myth structure but failed and succeeded with the ending. Ichigo 4, but honestly, he could be replaced. However, I really enjoyed bleach fight scenes.

I have been working since 2019 as a comic book editor and one thing, I noticed in this video is that people didn't understand the concept of writing of whole anime story is different from writing of protagonist there are so many well written characters like lolauch,light,gutz and eren.
But these new anime kids are ranking saitama,luffy,goku and even tanjiro above them. I knew they are good but after taking into consideration of whole story these characters didn't have any unique personality of themselves which leaves a mark.
fr it really bugged me because a lot of people don't seem to either understand the character or they just rate them by strength or if it's their favorite or not. I wish the guy with the board explained it was about writing and not anything else. personally I think the most well written characters are definitely characters like eren, lelouche, ichigo, luffy, etc., but even in terms of writing everyone has different opinions about who is better than another
