Maintaining the air cushion in the Alde boiler

Maintaing the “air cushion” is a simple task, and something that should be carried out after every 10 days of continuous use of the boiler.

But what if you’re connected to city water? ( pump is not on). Just turn off at spigot and open water to drain hot water? Then do steps?
