    George Galloway interrupted by student who accuses him of being a racist.
    Filmed on Monday 14th October 2013.
    ABOUT GEORGE GALLOWAY:
    Few contemporary politicians have attracted as much controversy as George Galloway. A Labour MP from 1987 to 2003, he was an outspoken critic of the policies of Tony Blair and New Labour, in particular the decision to invade Iraq. Fiery comments such as ""the best thing British troops can do is to refuse to obey illegal orders"" saw Galloway expelled from the Labour Party. But Galloway returned to the political fray by founding the Respect Party and winning Bethnal Green and Bow in the 2005 General Election. Mr Galloway re-entered Parliament in this March as MP for Bradford West and has recently provoked controversy and criticism with his comments on the rape charges against Wikileaks' Julian Assange.

      @andrew kruth Correct Andrew!
      He fails to mention trade sanctions imposed since Lockerbie bombings,he also failed to mention Ghadaffi was loved by his Libyan people.
      He also fails to mention the largest manmade water aquifer pipeline system ever created is throughout Libya that the U.S kept saying was created to hide military weapons which was a lie.
      He failed to mention that with the pipeline installation that the deserts of Libya where being forested and farmed. He also failed to mention that the invasion of Libya was created by the CIA funding militia to destabilize what was already fragile all because Ghadaffi would not allow central banking outside control influences to impede his people whilst they built their nation.
      He also failed to mention that the U.S bombed and destroyed all the aquifer ducts and pumping stations throughout Libya when they invaded,causing even more destruction of Libya and Tanzania who were connected to the pipeline waters.

      @@Th4thWiseman Col KHADAFI was killed for motives western politicians won't never ever explain to their voters and fellow citizens. How saddened I am to find out how lazy westerners are and to which extent they had been indictrinated, manipulated and are continuing to be victims of manipulation! It is common knowledge that Britons are obsessed with facts. But how can it be that most of them have been unable to accept the bitter truth even after they had been provided with so many evidences and facts? If Mr. Galloway neither travelled to Lybia nor personally met late Col. KHADAFI and Lybians as he himself is attesting in this video, how on earth could he have known how poorly and miserably run Lybia was, for 'it failed to look like Dubai' and Lybians having appaling lives? Mr Galloway's assertion begs us to ask why his native Scotland doesn't resemble the US or Canada?
      As for the colour revolution that established a controlled chaos in Lybia, the UN resolution was voted to obtain an exclusive zone for humanitarian purposes and intents. But why did it lead to the destruction of a country once prosperous, its infrastructure, and turned into a killing rendition that took away lives of innocent civilians and turned upside down the lives of Lybians? Why? Two heads of states who were part of the coalition have even regretted to have intervened in Lybia now that consequences have reached Europe which is being invaded by massive immigration. Prior to 2011, how many Lybians northerner hemisphere inhabitants saw wandering and begging in their streets? Oh blimey, I had forgotten that Africans were humanoids that do not deserve to live. How dare they even think of leading comfortable lives compared to white people in the northern hemisphere?
      Can Mr Galloway or any person in that room tell how much each government-sponsored Lybian studying in London or the UK received each month in the 80s? For the purpose of comparison of government grants to their citizens, how much did each British subject studying abroad receive per month within the same period? What about today? Does Lybia have any of its citizens studying in the UK or abroad? Now you see, all of the northern hemisphere's acts or actions against Africans are based on lies, slandering and motivated by racism. What all that westerners want and are demanding is that African leaders work against the interests of their people and countries by emptying the contents of their treasury safes and go fill in its banks, so that they will set up a coalition that will organise their demises thereafter in order to avoid African countries or their duly beneficiaries claiming back those funds which are supposedly frozen. Wait a minute! But until when? How awful! While on subject, I now have confirmation of the fact that Cambridge and Oxford universities are both institutions that coach british subjects to run the British Empire, glorify imperialism, and even continue its upkeep. By the way, what gives the right to the northern hemisphere to decide upon what is wrong or right for peoole living miles and miles away, if not for the fact that they are jealous of other people enjoying their wealth and good standards of living than themselves? Lybia has become a no man's land and this is what westerners had wanted in the first place. What was unveiled during those aerial raids and the violence that ensued speak for themselves: to ransack and loot Lybia. The end justified the means. This has always been the western world modus operandi. What a shame for the so called civilised and christian people! How hypocritical of them, heartless people subjecting other human beings to an endless slavery and acting like a pack of mad wolves to attack and silence whoever dares say to the contrary and refuses to jive to their tune! So, it is true that a dog never changes the way it sits, goes the saying. The western world won't change its mindsets because hypocrisy, lies, wickedness and looting are inbedded in its DNA. It is really psychologically painful to live with and alongside people who refuse to see and acknowledge all the trauma and sufferings their behaviours, courses of actions have been inflicting upon other people for more than 5 centuries? Of course, not all westerners are to blame for sins committed by those we know have been and are the architects of lynching and destruction schemes. And the attitude of those who are in the know but are choosing to remain silent is even more painful. In fact, their behaviour raises concern amongst those who are deemed feable. In view of the above, one sometime wonders whether any individual who has a human face can be considered a human being? What kind of relationshp are we supposed to be building now that mutual trust and respect have been broken beyond any repair? The bottomline is where will we go from here?

      No need for insults. This young man has been schooled by imperialists and came to a false and twisted conclusion. But his questions were honest, full of concern and he was very passionate. I believe that Galloway`s wonderful answer certainly gave him grounds to maybe see things in another light and maybe with time see reason and find proof to change his mind, not only about Lybia but about so many other issues. Our Western school system has been producing multiple generations who brought this world to the level of self-destruction and the destruction of the world. It takes time to break free from these chains. Not everyone is living in surroundings which make it possible for a certain individual to see behind the veil. We should be more understanding and more kind to each other in times that are leading in a very weird direction. The powers that be have abandoned us a long time ago. In the end, there will be very little left and we should at least try to stick together.

    Imperialism is WRONG WRONG WRONG...no matter the era!

    • @someonenew439
      @someonenew439 Před 2 lety

      I simply disagree. Imperialism moved the world forward and is moving the role forward. Large powerful nations have the right to influence small ones. And the ideals of those large and powerful nations ultimately spreads human progress. The British empire did great and wonderful things for the world and many other western empires. Imperialism helped Asia and Africa in the long run and made democracy and human rights
      More accessible.You are mistaken. Imperialism is good and is historically necessary and not condemnable.

    • @someonenew439
      @someonenew439 Před 2 lety +1

      @ I still say yes. Russia has rights to influence smaller and weaker nations. That is their right and privilege for being a great power. I see nothing historically wrong with it. If Russia feels they can do this and are willing to suffer the consequences, they can do it. The same way Ukraine has the right to defend itself. And we have the right to send aid and weapons. It’s just a game. The great powers are the players and the smaller nations are the chess board and pieces. So I don’t condemn any nation for going to war for land or resources ect. It’s just something that happens. We will see if it leads to any progress.

    Can you imagine a conversation like this remotely taking place on any American TV show in which the guest is asked to respond to a question or comment and not being constantly interrupted mid sentence by either the person who proposed the question or the host themselves?
    The listeners get a disjointed presentation of ideas that ruin someone’s thought process or point they’re trying to expound and many times leave incomplete or unanswered questions.
    This goes for any guest whether their idea is pro or con. I prefer letting people speak and then make up my own mind from what I’ve heard or in many cases, hear some point that I hadn’t considered given by a guest that gives me another idea or resource to go check out myself.
    The civility of the Oxford type forum would be a welcome format in all talk shows
