  • Ronald Reagan Elementary School in California is the first school in the state that uses, among other strategies, multiage classrooms. To accommodate students at different stages of learning, teachers provide multiple learning options in a given lesson. This allows for high-end learners to move at a faster pace with more difficult activities. In the same classroom, students requiring more time and a less complicated approach study the same subject. In this video, the teacher has divided the classroom so that the students are appropriately challenged with her lesson on fractions.
