Mostly black and hispanic kids… is this just an effect of their culture at home, or racism?

I liked this video. Where did u get the Choice board? Can you share?
Thank you kindly for this lecture. Outstanding concepts and ideas.
Ms. Harms got a bumper on her!!!
u nasty fr 😂
Thank you for your dedication to differentiation in the classroom! It's evident how much you care about meeting each student where they are and helping them thrive. Truly inspiring! I'm so impressed by your ability to tailor your teaching to the unique needs of each student. Your commitment to differentiation is making a real difference in their learning journeys. In addition, I enjoyed seeing the way you grouped the students based on their preferences so they could learn from each other’s strengths. I liked that in each group you had a high reader student, a student who could solve math problems carefully and, in some groups, students who needed support in both areas. As educators we know that not all students approach problem solving in the same way. Therefore, it is apparent that we as educators use differentiated approaches and you really exemplified that in this video. Your passion for differentiation is truly inspiring. It's evident that you go above and beyond to ensure that all your students have the opportunity to shine.
I wish we could mute the music. It interferes with hearing what is being said
Thank you for very valuable content
Thank you. what a great approach to teach
Such old computer......
Great,... . ... Success for ya... this PWIM: czcams.com/video/5h7Ijrg13rg/video.html
Great and insightful video. It is important to know how to differentiate our classrooms.
Wouldnt it be nice if the US Department of Ed spent more time and energy on this instead of CRT?!
Hi I am using this video for my sped observation. Can you please tell me where this school is located? Thanks so much:)
This is what teaching should look LIKE!!!!!!!
Say it louder for the people in the back.
Two Key Takeaways: 1. Teach vocabulary before a major set of content is presented so kids do not get confused. @13:50 2. Having different routes for students to learn what they need to learn @18:25
Enlightening presentation!
Great video! Thank you!
Good day i am interesting this topic differentiated instruction thank you
This video was very helpful. Great insight on the classroom, and the teacher interviews were great.
That one little girl figured out that the answer to that problem was 201 in her head! I am an adult and I can barely calculate sums that large with the help of a calculator. This is why I am teaching kindergarten! I can't teach math at a level higher than that :)
LMAOOOO (exactly why I’m going to teach kindergarten/first grade too☠️)
You are amaizing. Good work.
Good 👍
I just farted.
My pension says Kristi's parents drive BMWs! 😏🚘🇩🇪
Great Ideas for writing. A LOT of talking by the teacher.
Why was your example that of a black boy?
Hey, please upload more videos
The teacher didn't include the "naughty boy" on the brown chair. Could she of included him in her differentiation?
Why would the teacher not allow for the student at moment 10:15ish to read the preface and other juicy tidbits that might be before page 13. Those first 12 pages could be filled with knowledge that the students can only get from reading that. Along with teaching students that they need to enjoy the complexity and nuances that happen with the book itself.
hello fellow fsc comrades
The girl is clearly depress... she needs more counseling than punishment 😒
I like this training course.
Teacher: Sri Lanka is in Asia not Europe.
No Africa book?
So profound in the presenters remark on the non-negotiable and targeting comprehension while branching out the engagement ideas. As the sciene teacher, making learning culturally relevant is urgent, but tapping into students' natural curiosity is also helpful. They will be happy to share when invited to.
I am interested in a course/training in differentiating instruction.
Thank you very informative
This video has helped me a lot as an Afraican primary school teacher. I need to change the mind set of my teachers so they can embrace the subject
Differentiated instructions must be based on really knowing students and their learning needs. It takes a great deal of planning and work. It must be an ongoing process and not used in lessons only on certain days of the month or week;; it must be continuous. It is also a searching process. It is similar to meeting a new friend, whose potential is based on facts and common ground or experiences. That common ground must be nourished via meaningful interactions to succeed.
Introduce students to some of the most influential leaders in history, with this 9-book set! Students will analyze the backgrounds, adversities, and accomplishments of these significant figures, and learn how they have made an impact on history and society today. amzn.to/3flONpE
This teacher was a very good example of expecting the best from a student regardless of family/social disadvantages. Her classroom management skills are exceptional.
very nice! she does positive praise, has that rapport with students, is kind, is engaging students, very nice job!
I don't remember this in my younger days.
She's rambling a lot and not getting to the point. Great speaker though just waiting on the sustenance.
I agree
great presentation.
Differentiations are the most important philosophical thought on teaching and learning.
Very fine.
Wonderful lessons!!! Thank you!
