BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS - Welcome to Boston, a beautiful and historic city in New England with a vibrant Italian influence. Today weâre going on an Italian food tour of Boston, weâll be checking out the North End and East Boston around the airport. Get ready for a huge chicken parm sub, pizza, and one of the USAâs greatest Italian meals!
Dino's Cafe (goo.gl/maps/4fDRwUq4yaRAQKARA) - We started this tour in Bostonâs north end, one of the great Italian American neighborhoods in the United States. Itâs a great place to walk around, and enjoy the narrow streets and delicious food. We ate at a place called Dinoâs Cafe, a wonderful spot offering home style Italian food and especially a variety of Italian style sandwiches. I specifically came to eat the massive fried chicken parmesan sub including fresh breaded deep fried cutlets, cheese, and marinara sauce. It was made fresh, and one of the best versions Iâve ever had - and on top of that, itâs huge! Price - $14
Rino's Place (goo.gl/maps/j11j2aEvXVKDwFU66) - Next up on this Italian food tour of Boston, we headed to Rino's Place, without a doubt one of the great Italian restaurants in the United States. Itâs been praised by Guy Fieri, and I can tell you that itâs one of those places where no matter what you order off the menu, itâs going to be outstanding. Along with amazing food, the owner and all staff are fantastic. I ordered the signature lobster ravioli, plus a plate of amazing spaghetti (I can say itâs one of the best plates of spaghetti Iâve had in my life) and finally a plate of veal marsala with pasta. Again, all three dishes were top of the notch, absolutely amazing.
Total price - $99.51
Santarpio's Pizza (goo.gl/maps/sPiBU5WRbNcnLPUTA) - Finally to end this Italian food tour in Boston, I met up with my friend Jeffrey Merrihue ( / jeffrey_merrihue ) to eat a few pizzas at the legendary Santarpio's Pizza, which is one of the best pizzas in Boston. Along with pizza, they are known for their kebabs, which they grill over fire at the front of the restaurant - is there anything better than kebabs before pizza? We ordered the sausage and garlic pizza, and it was delicious.
Boston is a fantastic city, and I loved eating all of this incredible Italian food when I was there.

Born and raised just outside Boston, it is hands down the best place to get whateva kind of food you're in the mood for.
In many of the restaurant kitchens around America, hard working highly skilled Hispanics are cranking out delicious food for all. Their many hours of hard work deserve to be commended. They sure know how to cook up some delicious Italian American cuisine up in Boston's North End. Always learning and adapting.
It doesnt matter where theyre from. theyre just hard working guys
@@annother3350 exactly. the journey they went through to get to working in a kitchen is astounding. it's like a dream come true for them. many restaurants would be hard to survive without their hard work. the guys in the pasta kitchen were definitely spanish speaking and they knew how to cook up some good grub.
If Gordon can win Michelin stars making French cuisine, Mexicans can do the same for Italian food. It's not where you're from. It's where you're going that matters. Food breaks the barriers of language and invisible boundaries. Brings us all together.
SJW's have a hard time when a minority culturally appropriates another minority đ
Just an FYI, this is east Boston, most likely those are Salvadorans or Colombians working in the kitchen.

I have been to the great city of Boston. I confess that I headed right away to Cape Cod and had the biggest and best Seafood Combo that I have ever eaten. I
eventually made it up to Bostonâs North End and I nearly ODâd on the pasta and Chicken Parmigiana. I also got to see the Boston Red Sox play three straight night games at Fenway Park. Hello đ how are you doing
Came from. Niagara Falls NY in a trip to Boston last year. Nicoewas closed next door, so we went to Lucia's Ristorante next doorr on Hanover St. In Little Italy in Boston. What a great thing to happen to my 3 girls and I. The best bruschetta. The best mussels with crostini. The best entrees. The waiter was adorable. One of the most pleasant dining experiences I've ever had. There was a table of guys behind us. All paisans. Lol. Nicest , friendliest group of people. They were the best. Going back there when we go to Boston again.
how can you not love this guy Mark Wiens!
The people in that restaurant are probably amazed seeing Mark put away food and looking super skinny.
Yep đŻđŻ
I am flabbergasted at how much this can eat, but stay thin. At least he is eloquent in speaking.
I love how Mark is such a good husband , father and a provider. I am sure most of the men would totally skip on family time by now making excuses of how hard it would be to travel and blog with a little child And ask the wife to stay home and take care of household. This man totally deserves everything he has ,he did it right .
You don't know anything about his personal life. Why take it there?
"I'm still attached" when eating the chicken park around the 5:50 mark made me LOL! This guy is great!

Rinoâs was fantastic! Wait was pretty long but the price for the amount you get is totally worth the wait
Thanks for visiting the neighborhood! East Boston often gets overlooked, but the food is among the best in the city: a rich mixture of the two centuries of immigrant families
"Papa John's, Pizza Hut", hillarious. Louisville: pizza ground zero. Anyone from any large northeastern city had to laugh at that one.
Oh I laughed alright đ€Ł Laughed hard, and I don't even live in the Northeast. Comparing Papa John's and Pizza Hut to an authentic well made Italian pizza is a real joke. đ

If you think that pizza looks great, do yourself a favor and plan a trip! East Boston is sort of a pita to get to, but soooooo worth it. I LOVE Frank Pepe, Detroit style, Chicago style, bar pie, Sicilian, New York slices. I'm sort of a pizza snob. Santarpio's is the best flavor I've ever had.
I haven't been to Difara or Lucali, but can confidently say Santarpio's is the best pizza in Bos.
I don't hate on Regina and have no reason to - It's just underwhelming to me. I'm a sauce and flavor guy

As Italian, I really appreciate that Mark specifies Italian-American food because that's what it is. Looks really rich and tasty! But people should know that it's not what they would find in Italy. It does tell the history of millions of italian immigrants though!
Exactly, this is not original Italian at all, you will get better original Italian food and pizza in Europe, in Italy obviously, but also here in Denmark, made by 1st and 2nd generation Italian immigrants.
@@agffans5725 No one said it was orginal Italian tho.
@@potato-yx5te .. Like everything else in America, it's crossed-culture fusion, lacking the original culture. America is not a preserver of different original cultures, but a giant "blender" that will ruin anything original.
@@agffans5725 I had pizzas in Florence, Rome...etc. Nothing fantastic. Sorry to burst the bubble.
@@ivanteo1973 Fully agree. The point is that 99% of 'pizza places' in Rome, Florence etc are just 'tourist traps', where they use frozen ingredients to feed tourist and giving them what they 'believe' is Italian pizza... I feel sorry for them, but this has noting to do with true Italian pizza, as the 'American-italian food' shown in the video has - obviously - nothing to do with 'Italian' food! I respect the 'American-italian' tradition, but I simply find it too heavy, far too greasy (that sauce served with the ravioli is - in my personal view - simply obscene...). But, hey, everyone has his own taste!
God bless you and your beautiful family with health. Thank you for sharing your wonderful videos on culture and food I can experience vicariously.
When I visited Rome as a student, me and my friends had lunch in a place near the Trevi Fountain. We were also treated like family..... a trait of the the warm and wonderful Itallian people.

None of those recipes are italian at all. If an italian like me watches this video, hes gonna have goosebumps coz those are totally reinvented recipes, in fact chefs are mexican and dont know a thing about italian food. Chicken with sauce in bread is something really nasty for italians and youâll never find anything like that in italian restaurants nor in italian families.Just grossâŠ
Plus, bolognese recipe is totally wrong, people from Bologna they are shivering seeing bolognese cooked like that
