Love that Rodman is still with us.
He's a true rockstar
I saw a documentary about his life, he had a very sad childhood.
hes not that old lol
He is such a legend. I never really understood him, but after listening to him the last few weeks, he is a legend.
@@bevrosity don't have to be old to die
No joking...it is so great to see Dennis sober and talking straight.
What?!? As opposed to what other time?
Agreed
Brainjock lol you don’t know anything, dude stays drinking & as do I
Hes been this way for a while now, everytime you see him are you going to remind us of his past
He's not in influence of anything(maybe besides coke). He's just... weird.
Dennis Rodman was already Social Media before Social Media... 😎
taffy192 ~ For real
people keep saying this but what does it mean
@@usxnews1834 His body was a canvas for self expression just like social media is for our thoughts and whims

The bottom line is Michael Jordan wasn’t out there by himself he had a team around him “ and he wouldn’t have any rings if pippin hadn’t been there.
It’s good seeing Dennis Rodman getting more recognition in today’s media
The look of disgust Stephen A. had on his face when he saw the Cowboys jersey was priceless.
Hush Like Lamar when he saw his daddy PATRICK LAVON MAHOMES II won SUPER BOWL 54 Arguably The greatest SB to ever assembled in the planet earth
Stephen A. Smith Burner Account about to use this as a meme as well.
He does that to troll Stephen A.
That's the face I have everytime I see Stephen A.....
who cares bout him anyway
They need to retire Rodman's jersey in Chicago.
johnnyrainbow50 his jersey is iconic
johnnyrainbow50 I’m surprised they haven’t. Especially since he was the real 96 Finals MVP
He's only played 3 years here. He means more to Detroit than Chicago that's when he was at his best.
CALi G he was not the real MVP for 96. Bulls was up 3-1 and they just let left the foot off the gas.
No we don't
Dennis so so right about this, everybody underrated Scottie Pippen, Pippen was playing MVP level when Jordan left, the Bulls were still a winning team. If Pippen was in this age, he would've gotten so much money. He was a great leader, great passer, probably the best and most versatile defender of all time, a good scorer, super athletic. People don't notice because Pippen was playing next to a basketball god, MJ.
Yeah but he never tipped
So true.
I keep saying this. Michael wouldn't be MJ if it ween't for Scottie Pippen. Scottie took Michael from a losing showman - averaging 30-40 points by himself - to a champion. Michael would not be a champion without Pippen.
Mr Pikachu Travel because mj thought him to become great read the documentary about piooen 1st time he joined the bulls
Mr Pikachu Travel but they was a dynamic duo
The Last Dance will arguably be one of the greatest documentaries on TV. It’s crazy ESPN had this gold mine and hadn’t release it before. I would have paid to watch the whole thing on an IMAX theatre. Shout out to everyone who made it happen. Can’t wait to see the rest of the episodes.
Let's not forget, Phil Jackson took a year off living in Montana. The Lakers get him. Gets a $30M / 5-year deal with the Lakers making him the highest paid coach. Wins 3 straight. You can say Phil had his revenge seasons too.
Phil got more then revenge trust I think when he went to the lakers he went to make a statement and that he did lol
I could of coached that Lakers team and won
Yeah he smashed Jeany Buss.
AC NOW MC no bro, that team had a low basketball IQ and too many egos on that team, and Phil jackson controlled it. Give credit where it’s due.
erik bray When Phil Jackson retired the 1st time, why couldn’t Kobe go anywhere in the playoffs ? As soon as he comes back, they start making the finals again.
Much Respect for Dennis for his praise and giving Scottie his due...
D MONEY he always mentions having to apologize to Pip but he never says why, which we all remember him pushing Pip into the stands and busting his chin. To become his teammate and recognize & acknowledge how great Scottie was is definitely worth our Respect ✊🏾
Yeah man. Seriously✊
Kevin Smith ✊

THE BEST!!!

The Worm is no doubt one of the greatest rebounders all time. And you can make a case for Rodman as the all time best rebounding PF. But the differences in era's in the NBA with changing rules, size, competition, athletic ability,etc... It's a catch-22 cause if you wanna go by "facts" in numbers Wilt Chamberlain, & Bill Russell pretty much double Rodman's numbers in ways and a few other players also.
We need An MJ ,PIP, PHIL & RODMAN SIT DOWN INTERVIEW! Make it happen ESPN

DreDaGr8$ no cap
DreDaGr8$ so true
I think u said too little...100 mil at least hehehe
DreDaGr8$ being a kid in the 90’s... it was our game to guess what color of hair Rodman was gonna sport next lol
Just him dressed up in a wedding dress 👗 should’ve gave them 50 million followers 😂😂
That’s dirty. They’re having this chill conversation and showing Rodman kicking the cameraman.
Nah ya'll need to chill. They were just showing a lot of what we saw from him not trying to take away from his greatness.
I would go to war for the guys, he’s not lying he played like a warrior.
@Mark Anthony please learn to read. He said like a warrior not played with the warriors. Lol
Mark Anthony, hahahahaha you are funny, thanks man we need funny in these hard times, keep the jokes keeping would you?
I totally agree Dennis Rodman play from his heart and soul he gave a hundred and 10% he was the best rebounder to ever play the game hats off to him Jordan and Pippen they say good things comes in threes
Mark Anthony your slow
Playing like a warrior isn't a compliment. Warriors were garbage back then. Except Tim Hardaway. Lol
Rodman was heated about being traded for Will Perdue. Homie had me cracking up on that one 😂
The way he says it is hilarious. "traded for ... BASICALLY NOBODY, will purdue" he got back at the Spurs.
I’m a spurs fan and I was dying😂
Honestly spurs should've kept rodman
King Alonzo I mean it all worked out in the end, the spurs wouldn’t beat the bulls during those years even with Rodman, and right after the bulls dynasty ended the spurs won a chip.
@@sumanimeup Robinson couldn't stand him
The docuseries is so good, one guy tweeted when Ep 2 left with a cliffhanger that he hoped Scottie wasn't going to get traded! 🤣 We already know the results but it's like we're watching everything for the 1st time!
Absolutely agree lol
Dennis in his prime will lock down any forward today, they wouldn’t stand a chance against the Worm!
Rodman in his prime may not have locked down KD, Kawhi and LBJ, but they would've had to work for it. Rodman had a way of getting into opponents psyche also. Ask Alonzo Mourning or Karl Malone about that.
Bryan Everett Lol and Shaq too, no easy work against the Worm
@@DJaySplitSecond I would love to see how KD and LBJ would fare against prime Rodman with the hand and body checking. Great players in today's NBA, but sensitive. Kawhi may have fared better. Just talking his defense, the mind games another story.
Bryan Everett yeah that’s true, Khawi and KD would lose Rodman on a break, but they would have a hard time against him in post up! Lebron would definitely score against Rodman but it won’t be easy, he would have to work for it, but the fact that Rodman stopped guys much bigger than him is scary
Larry bird gave him 37
Like him Love him or hate him. Rodman came to win and did just that. Living Life
Doesn't make much sense to hate him, he was a warrior, he had mental illness, and he's working on the mental illness.
When Dennis Rodman talks, everybody wanna listen
cause he's real. Mike Tyson also. These guys are so organic everyone can identify.
Exactly. Interview too short
@@reyfigueroa5453 Agreed. Should've been longer
Rodman and Scottie Pippen were right when they said that if Jordan played today, he would average 50 points a game. Because who's going to stop him today, in a league where hardly anyone plays defense? There's no hand checking or body checking. Then throw in the fact that the court has been spread so wide with all the 3 point shooting, Jordan would have had a field day. In the 90's many NBA teams had what were called "enforcers." These guys weren't on the floor because of their scoring prowess, these guys were goons, and they were there to intimidate and regulate the paint. That meant no easy dunks, layups or rebounds. They made opponents pay physically for every point they got in the paint. And then you had to deal with shutdown experts like Gary Payton out on the perimeter. Jordan played when the NBA was still a contact sport.
David J say it again for the people acrosss the street && in the house
once MJ passes his first defender, it would be mostly clear lanes to the basket. Mj prob had the best first step out of anybody
The scary part is he won't stop attacking all night. He loves to kill teams. Imagine mj playing today is like a terror on opponents cause not only will he attack you but he will let you know in your face and many players will have nightmares.😅🤣🤣

"You can go 82-0 and you still aint coming back" I mean that mustve felt like the ultimate betrayal to Mike, Scotty and Phil.
I imagine the tonality of phil's "fine" had a bit more punctuation on it then the resigned way he recalls it.
Why Jerry Krause didn't want Phil to continue? They were winning championship after championship, can anybody answer that question? Thanks...

Well Rodman was on point saying MJ doesn't like talking about other people, that is why when MJ was asked about Scottie, he will reply "why dont you ask scottie?"
I think its also that he doesn’t feel its his place to talk about another persons opinions or feelings. He probably thought they would get a better more accurate answer if they asked pippin themselves instead of asking mj what hw thought pippen was feeling.

Dennis is a sample of a good soldier he is just there to win the war
If the Bulls were an army Dennis is the demolition guy that just bombs everything up. Impressive rebounder I can close my eyes knowing he rebounded the ball. If I had to say it there was 99.9999% chance Dennis rebounded it
why they just cut it in the middle of rodman's sentence?
probably cause he kept rambling but im not sure either.
Blasphemy! The unmitigated gall.
Prolly cause he was talking about this weeks episode and they don’t want any spoilers

Dennis Rodman is a special kind of breed. Great Dude all around.
You get a guy on your show and show one of his lowest points when he kicked dude. This is why people distrust the media.
Yea, that's raw
I'm loving this docuseries so far. I was a little worried the first 2 episodes were only going to set things up and it did. But how they presented it with the angles and music choices is why I love it. The flashbacks were great.
I love how Dennis sits up in his chair to make sure Stephen A saw the jersey😂😂
The last dance is a piece of art combined with basketball. Thanks to Netflix and ESPN for giving this to us 🙏
I miss how the city turned up every championship win!!! The city was in unity and represented for da bulls!
I've read Phil's Eleven Rings along with Roland Lazenby's MJ book. There's overlap with the books. I also lived that time when all of it was happening. NBC kept talking about it. Krause wasn't even popular in the 1st threepeat.
Was eleven rings good? Was it in depth what Phil thought on certain situations?
@@DELTACO..UBERDRIVER..STOCKS.. Yes, I'd recommend it. It explains the way he thought about the game and how he got all these egomaniac millionaires to work together and be humble. The best part for me was how he developed his relationship with Kobe.
Phil got 12 rings 6 bulls 5 lakers 1 new York as player
"Most of the players resented Jerry for one reason or another" a direct quote from Phi's Eleven Rings; Phil also emphasized how players disliked Krause's attempts to hang out and be one of the guys...why Krause felt the need to do this or why he thought it would work is anyone's guess
Phil's book was outstanding. So entertaining, and I LOVED the stories about Dennis. I couldn't stand to put it down. I read it in 3 days. Funny thing is, Phil said in that book the greatest player he ever coached wasn't even MJ or Kobe....it was Dennis Rodman.
Welll, I just finished watching the 30 for 30 on Rodman that came out recently. All I can say, if anyone is reading this comment, find it and watch. One of the best documentaries I have watched - on any subject.

After watching that series I love hearing those boys speak about the good old days. Absolute studs!
Dennis, a legend, champ, and an inventor of basketball defensive moves.
He has the best footwork for a big game
Folks should listen to MJ's speech during the 1998 trophy presentation. Even listen to Phil's. MJ talked about the strong leadership they had. Phil pretty much knew it was over.
They all knew going in at the beginning it was the end.
JAM! it' aint, it ain't, too much for me.....
One thing for sure, the Bulls became so much fun when they got Rodman on their roster.
i was watching something on youtube about how the stats for the 1996 championship, the attacking stats were not great, and that it was actually the defense that won them the games

My favorite memories of Rodman would be when he'd pull up for a 3. Crowd reactions were the best when he'd make one.
Dennis Rodman really was the final piece. Here they had the Goat, the greatest sidekick in NBA history, the greatest 3 point shooter...then they add the greatest rebounder in history and a guy that played ferocious defence with multiple championships under his belt.
If you didn't witness it, you missed a great time. If you think the aura around Golden State was huge, you missed what was even bigger.

the golden state era wasn’t even in the same ballpark. no dynasty will ever be loved like that again. the patriots, warriors and heat runs are some of the most disliked in sports history. people don’t like domination and try and poke holes in dynasties now, but for the bulls everyone fell in love it was a once in a lifetime dynasty.

Tyler Mac I agree, Tiger King is actually really inaccurate and misleading as well.
For Kobe fans, I've read from the producer that Kob appears by Episode 5 which is the halfway mark similar to the 1998 ASG when MJ & Kobe went at it. I expect Kob to sound grateful to MJ.
