This interview hit very deep for me. I didn't come from the streets but I did street stuff. I came from a 2 parent home very religious we look like the perfect family from the outside looking in but on the inside it was crazy dysfunction literally. Growing up with a schizophrenic brother, domestic violence, rape , molestation, by time I hit 19 and I met a guy who wanted to use me for my body I thought that was love. Then I got so used to being used by him I started using myself. Using my body and looks for men working in the clubs in the streets wherever I can make money and no one knew what I was doing and it all started from the inside of my college dorm. By the time I entered college I was already broken so my future plans went out the window and I got hooked on substance abuse. Fast forward now im a proud mother of a beautiful 4 year old boy. Although me and his father didn't workout I thank that man till this day because he helped me see value in myself enough to stop treating myself that way and get out of that life. So he will always earn my respect. I still have a lot of healing to do but I thank God I'm far from that life now and I'm building myself for the next chapter but it's so hard the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life but I owe it to me my son and most to God. Sorry for the book. I felt someone needed to hear this. I'm tired of hiding God needs someone to hear our story. We never know who we can be helping. Thank you Yanie for this interview we needed this. 🙏🏼

Period she spoke true facts
Isn't she Cesar from black ink girlfriend (Suźette)????? I remember seeing her crying on the bed after she returned from getting her BBL and he wasn't giving her thee desired attention, I believe that's her 👀 I don't watch that many episodes if any at all but her & kitty are unforgettable bc of their STYLE in my book"
Nelly and a few others still in the game
I am trying to figure how many women don’t know that. They make money on tours, events, and club appearances.
I’m glad she kept it real about how that lifestyle can cause you to be around bad spirits and overall bad energy. Sis was being super honest. In & out of the clinic. Now THIS is the level of honesty we need out here. ☕️💅🏾

This made me rethink moving with purpose. Im in a job thats keeping me stagnant and I've been half assing my exit plan because like my granny says, "people choose the evil they know over the evil they dont know". Finding my why, finding my purpose, making sure me and my family and my loved ones are good. My current job pays me just enough not to leave but one thing I learned from this video and Im reteaching myself is complacency is the enemy of progression and sometimes you have to let go of everything and start again
This is real! 😭
You and I are on the same boat.
Girl get out of my life.. right now. Your comment hit me hard.
I just left my job in healthcare that was paying me $11,000 a month.
The toxicity and stagnation was not worth the money, my soul needed to live not just exist.
I’m feeling the same way rn
Baby that survival mode will humble you and humble you fast. I struggled with my kids while living in NYC and didn’t start flourishing until I moved to Connecticut. I was paying $2k a month for a 2 bdrm shoebox apartment. Believe it or not while it was a struggle we had some great times.
Yanie! Your wigs and your makeup! It’s giving classy housewife who runs a real estate agency vibes 💕✨💅🏾

I don’t understand why the in/ out the clinic is so comical to certain people. Even the host did a side eye, laughed, replay, then proceeded to shame women. The host later on tried to clean it up and say how she appreciates honesty, but her initial reaction was her true reaction. If you engage in risky behaviors you risk incarceration, diseases, death, depression, and a plethora of other issues. Anytime a woman mentions personal hygiene, feminine hygiene, diseases/ etc there is some type of shame or humor attached to it and there should not be. These conversations are critical and ppl need to be open to share them. Grow up ppl!
Agreed.
The point you made about the bbls and competition is so on point. The fact that bbls are becoming so accessible to the point where everyday fast food workers can afford them means they aren’t going to be that desirable to their main audience (men) because they see that look all the time now. These women who are in that profession are going to start doing crazy things sooner or later just due to the fact it’s such a competitive field. And it’s a lot of money that’s able to go around but the thing is if every woman looks and act the same, who is going to wanna to keep spending their money on the same type of woman?
The broke girlies are going to stand out😂❤ we couldn't afford a bbl but it's a blessing in disguise
The idea of risking your life to get a bigger weirder looking booty doesn’t make any sense.. Do women think they’ll go homeless if they don’t get a BBL? 😂
@@PrinceInawRakah if you’re in a industry (nightclub, se work, Instagram modeling) then that’s the industry standard. So yes some women do believe if they don’t look a certain way they won’t be able to make it. Blame Men 🤷🏽♀️ it all boils down to them sadly. A lot of these women getting surgery are getting it due to the male gaze
@Elevate & Prosper well those women don’t want to go that route so therefore this conversation is about those women. Idc to speak about the other career options cause they chose this specific field so we’re conversing about that.
@Elevate & Prosper everyone doesn’t have the smarts or desire to do tech.

Yanie I must say how beautiful & glamorous your hair & makeup was tonight. 😍💕 I’m glad this lady was very real about her experiences. She talked about the dark side of being a sugar baby instead of trying to glamorize it.
I love the hair, where can I get this wig, it rocks
👌 Wow 👌
This interview had a small snippet of information that god wanted me to hear. She said she was dilated at 5 months (incompetent cervix). I was just diagnosed with this but lost my baby because I didn’t know and it was too late. Rn my hope feels completely shattered, 28 married and that would of been my first child. She had two healthy babies. I hope my story changes one day but there is a GOD, he revealed himself to me at my lowest point.
Amen.🙏🏻
Don’t worry. You’ll have more babies and will always cherish your rainbow 🌈 babies memories ❤
Literally same exact situation happened to me as well. At 5 months, it’s okay mama you’ll get your rainbow baby
Your time is coming
@@jeanellep613 I’m really sorry you had to experience this (wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy) and you will get your rainbow baby as well!! Sending love from one mom to another ❤️
I lived in NY for 17 years and although I made money I still was always surviving there.. Not living. In January I moved to north Carolina...been single and celibate a year and still counting, started a business made money and I love it here. I can thrive without the hustle and bustle of ny.
Glad to hear she survived and made her life better for her and her kids . She went through experiences and learned from them instead of making excuses . Sometimes you are the only one stopping yourself from elevation .
55:47-56:15
Never be the smartest person in your circle. You'll never elevate that way, and you'll never have no one around to motivate you or teach you something new. Always surround yourself with people that are smarter than you that you can learn something from.
I live for this essence of Black woman of pure beauty, love you Yanie😍😍💕💕
The best line in the video:
"that was my issue, I was always the smartest person in my circle:"
That broker came in there to recruit, which is strategic on her part. Help a woman change her life, she already has a following, and knows how to sale...it's a win, win, win.
Ooh I didn’t even think about it like that. That could very well be true
This was an interview. That was a grown ass woman that allowed him to interview and listen to her story. Thanks for sharing ❤
Can I just say I really leveled up from this video, I felt the journey and feeling inspired. So much clarity from this video!
God got her through all her hardships and you are hearing her story because of Him. God will help you level up if you are consistent with prayer🔥❤

A lot of women don’t understand that the devil can bless you too 🤷🏾♂️

@@kannot1 Ain't that the truth
I REALLY ended up liking this girl after this video. Her realness and the way she speaks is intriguing.
@Yanie I agree. When a woman has leveled up and learned from her past, it is beautiful to see their growth. Suzette is very resilient. I knew her from watching black ink new york. But hearing about her past is inspiring. Especially her making it out of new york city & creating a new life for herself despite everything she went through. And Yanie as someone that lives in NYC, I can tell you it's challenging living here. What Suzette talked about in terms of living in survival mode, that is very much the case in NYC. Her story is a testimony
This was so good I am a Realtor in Atlanta I can relate to not having sales for months 😢 but I keep pushing for myself.
19:14-19:26
That's right!! When you have the gift of gab, your intelligent, and can hold an intelligent conversation that will get you so much farther than your body! Men will want to be around you, spend money on you, love being in your presence, if you are someone that's a good listener, articulate, and can give good advice.
I really appreciate her authenticity, it’s refreshing to see a beautiful black woman with goals doing what she had to do to get there.
I had to come back and say this woman is absolutely amazing, I will purchase her book once it comes out.
Loving the hair color, it looks good on you! It looks really cute.
THANK YOU, for the continued high-quality level up content 💖💖💖💖💃🏿
Thank you, thank you! 😘
Yanie!!!! When I tell you I needed to hear this… wow I’m doing my makeup while listening to this so I can’t cry but just wow hearing her testimony just gave me a hug that I needed.
This was one of your best lives ! Congrats on another good one. Many gems
Wow! I loved this interview. She dropped so many gems. Thank you, Yanie, for sharing this in such a nonjudgmental way. I love this platform ❤
This interview was so good. She been through a lot and has a great testimony.
Excellent video. I love what Yanie was saying. The interview was also interesting and it was great that he didn't interrupt her to push any narratives or anything.
This woman's soul is beautiful. Not even done with the video yet, got tears in my eyes. Beautiful.
She was speaking life into him and that's not even her man. Damn talk about woman with magnetic energy love it.! Plenty of gems in this interview.
Yanie! Your channel is so needed for black women. Thank you for being you 💐❤️
Wow, the interview and your commentary was extremely informative and educational. I know nothing about the life she lived except from stories, movies, etc but it’s a nightmare and she’s making it. Both of them and that’s amazing. They are both very lucky that they weren’t consumed by their past. Your present will always be first so it’s up to you to not get stuck in the past.
Your makeup and hair looks incredible. I cant even focus on what your saying because you look so good. Ur literally glowing!
Yes I'm tired of NYC I want to leave so bad . I have 2 kids...no help at all...I've been doing it all, alone since 15. My second child's father is around but...he can't hold a job down long enough to elevate and supposedly help Us and I'm tired of it truly... Only 24 and I feel life is defeating me. I'll always be strong but I'm just tired
Im in NY too, I'm going to pray for you and hope you move out to somewhere nicer with a better cost of living! Hope u find time 2 do something nice for yourself
YYYYYEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!! You are giving 90’s R&B vibes!!!!!! Love it!!!
This was a really good interview and changed my perspective of her actually. The show didn’t show it all but I see a lot of growth and truth in her testimony

Yea she definitely in alignment now.... 💯 I always "test the spirit" as the elders say and sis is talking her talk... And you can tell she got a real relationship with God. So many jewels...
I JUST watched that interview a couple days ago but I knew you’d have great commentary to add to it plus it was such a good interview for a woman like me to ingest that I didn’t mind sitting through it a second time. Great interview and very inspirational. I hope she continues to keep her relationship with God 1st. She’s doing amazing 🤩
I been watching his podcast for a few months now and I am loving his content!!
Not really gaining any wisdom from it tho.. just useless information that aligns with the vain desires of broken women.
There’s only like 5 women in the audience where powerful conversations are being had about the community.
The other 20 million plus BW are on channels like this, learning how to be sugar babies for old lonely white men.
When will you understand that you’re not spiritual? You’re carnal.. and money moves you.. not a higher power.

I didn't know I was gonna get a message AND a word! 🥰
I'm obsessed with your wig😍😍😍
when i was in middle school i met this guy (not that much older than me) i was in the 7th grade and he was in 9th. he just brought me everything i asked for. like he brought stuff for my siblings as well, christmas, thanksgiving …. he was there with the gifts. he never asked for anything in return. as i got older the innocence in that kinda faded i started calling him a sugar daddy, he didn’t mind and sexual favors started. for a moment it was kinda like a fantasy. but he put a stop to it and wanted us to be more serious about what we had going on. at one point we broke things off to find ourselves (it was a joint agreement) and later on we reconnected. this was all throughout middle school and high school.

Okay I won't even lie after watching this full interview my perception of Suzette has changed. I always felt like her spirit was disingenuous when she was on Black INK but I had to remember that it is just a show. I can relate to her glow up A LOT as a fellow NY native who migrated to the Midwest. Granted I was privelged to have grown up in the suburbs of Queens and LI with two Jamaican parents that love me and be 28 and not have any children. But I can still relate to feeling stagnant and wanting more and sometimes you have to move to do that and create a plan.
