I am happy to talk through the evidence for evolution with you, to ask someone in a park to give you evidence for evolution is all but impossible but in this format it's a reasonably simple process.
If you are happy to do this then I think it's fair to first talk through standards of evidence as it's easy for you to just reject what is presented, so we need to have the position you wish to represent and Evolutionary Biology held to the same standard.
Also we need to have an agreed set of definitions and rules.

Read the book by Hamza Tzortzis he has broader knowledge about Science. The book is called 'The Devine reality: God, Islam and the mirage of atheism. This book can teach how to tackle atheists in debates.

In Islam, our principles of belief are fixed and never change. Science, regarding its core fundamental principles, is always changing.
One who believes only in science and not religion (because they've taken science as a religion) will believe one thing one day, and because it's "proven" by science, therefore they believe it's correct... Then the next day they will discover that a principal has been changed due to new discoveries, which changes their doctrines, which makes the claims correct again today... Are you following? Let me put it simply and you should see how insane this is, inShaAllah.

Not very impressed with the argument against 'Darwinism', including many statements made that were completely wrong or at the least, irrelevant.
Religious zealots, love to use the word 'Darwin', to emphasize a single person (a straw man). The theory of evolution is not one man. Darwin was wrong or didn't know many things. However, Darwin's ideas were certainly notable from a historical context, and the best hypothesis at the time.
The theory of evolution as defined today is supported by all branches of science, to the point that it is considered fact. PhD scientists (ie not these two having the discussion), who have spent their entire life in their respective branches of science almost all agree that it is fact.
Time to adjust your god belief (if you are silly enough to have one in this day and age), to accept the fact of evolution.

the problem is that whether you accept evolution or religion, you will never be able to prove either one conclusively so the reality is just as religion requires belief, so does the theory of evolution and that is why the argument is often made that evolution has become a type of religion...
At the end of the day, nobody is required to believe in anything that isnt proven... it all comes down to personal choice, experience and belief...
Science does not follow belief but only consistent evidence. Evolution is considered a fact with all the evidence that links together. Religion goes on faith and unless we can show 'real' evidence not claims from so called 'prophets' and their texts then it will remain that way.
Evolution is no way like any type of religion but remains in science as it is as a fact. Evolution has no interest with religion. I am an atheist/Agnostic but evolution can exist with or without a religious context. Ie many educated scientific Muslims in microbiology, genetics and other fields believe in evolution (full scope of micro & macro evolution) but they see it as the ball started rolling in the framework of a god 'Allah', from its microscopic beginning of molecules of basic DNA and proteins to humans. They see Adam and Eve as a metaphor for the first humans (not in a literal context as been directly made) in the evolution framework. Personally, I see this yet again as religious scholars trying to twist wording of the Quran to make sure it does not contradict science and play catch up.

yes but evidence is a collection of data which can be interpreted in multiple ways and can therefore also support other theories such as the ones mentioned in this video. It doesnt just support evolution.
Also remember that evidence is not proof of the theory but facts and data which *_CAN_* be used to support a theory.

the point I am making is that since you need to *_ACCEPT_* evolution as fact (because it can never be conclusively proven); that necessitates an element of faith as well because you will never be able to make adequate observations to render it completely beyond doubt. Remember that the biggest issue of contention here is the idea evolution puts forward that with enough time and mutation, bacteria could become something as complex as an elephant... I am confident this will never be proven unless we are able to travel through time at some point.
Some aspects of evolution have been proven and are, therefore, pretty much beyond any sort of contention, such as natural selection; there is no issue with this.

Neil Williams - what do you mean by 'proven'. Absolute knowledge is not possible. What is important is what is reasonable to believe given the evidence. Religion uses faith, which is not a reliable method to find truth. There is nothing wrong with belief based on evidence, there is something wrong with belief based on faith (ie no evidence).
Not sure what you mean by 'personal choice', but if what you believe is not reasonable considering the evidence, then you're irrational (by definition). Religion is irrational. Belief that evolution happened, is not.

This is why street discussions like this often just fall into random quotes (without factually checking and verifying points) and a lack of concise, detailed, fully referenced, debate. Things have moved on far further since Darwinism with the break down of the human genome and DNA advancements providing us with a genetic blueprint. Julie Tucker hi, I'll address your confusion as simply as I can, if you've never seen a bird or any other aeronautical animal it would sound absolutely outrageous to think that something would be able to fly, it would be bizarre to think of a quadruped with a 6 foot long neck if you've never seen a giraffe before, or something that can shoot electricity out of itself like a Marvel superhero, or a jellyfish that can literally rebirth itself. All these things actually do exist and have been observed and given the fact we only know about an INCREDIBLY tiny amount of species that have lived on this planet if you think about it it's really not that far of a stretch to think the likes of a winged horse could exist.
