The gender war is getting worse by the day. The only solution to this mess is to embrace traditional gender roles as Islam teaches us. Enough of this modern nonsense where every little difference between the genders has to be challenged. I don't see men complain about why they cannot wear gold and silk, or why they have to provide. Why do Muslim feminists become silent when there are clear benefits in their favour?
In Quran it says to not wish for what the other have, be content with what you have.
"And do not wish for that by which Allāh has made some of you exceed others. For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned. And ask Allāh of His bounty. Indeed Allāh is ever, of all things, Knowing."

You're very quick to list hadiths saying men should be good to women, does this mean a women can behave how she wants and do what ever she wants?
Most MEN, Muslim MEN, agree with these statements, hadiths you've listed and have no issues with it what so ever.
What about what the Quran says? And also, what about what the hadiths say about women who are ungrateful to their husband?
Problem with modernised/feminist women is they always compare and say they have it tougher than men and can list all the things women do, but can barely list the things men do, but instead they should rather focus on what Islam, what Allah has said is the duty for men and women, and the guidance from the Quran and hadiths.
A’ishah (May Allah be pleased with her) asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH):
“WHO HAS THE GREATEST RIGHTS OVER A WOMAN?” HE SAID, “HER HUSBAND.” SHE ASKED, ‘AND WHO HAS THE GREATEST RIGHTS OVER A MAN?” HE SAID, “HIS MOTHER.”

“IT IS NOT RIGHT THAT ANY HUMAN BEING SHOULD PROSTRATE TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING, AND IF IT WERE RIGHT FOR A HUMAN BEING TO PROSTRATE TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING I WOULD HAVE ORDERED THE WOMAN TO PROSTRATE TO HER HUSBAND DUE TO THE GREATNESS OF HIS RIGHTS UPON HER. BY HIM IN WHOSE HAND IS MY SOUL, IF FROM HIS FOOT THE CROWN OF HIS HEAD THERE WAS A WOUND POURING FORTH WITH PUS, AND SHE (HIS WIFE) CAME AND LICKED THAT, THEN SHE WOULD (STILL) NOT HAVE FULFILLED HIS RIGHT.”

“IF I WERE TO ORDER ANYONE TO PROSTRATE TO OTHER THAN ALLAH, I WOULD HAVE ORDERED THE WOMAN TO PROSTRATE TO HER HUSBAND. BY HIM IN WHOSE HAND IS THE SOUL OF MUHAMMAD, THE WOMAN WILL NOT FULFILL THE RIGHTS OF HER LORD UNTIL SHE FULFILS THE RIGHTS OF HER HUSBAND; AND EVEN IF HE WERE TO REQUEST HER FOR HERSELF (I.E. TO HAVE INTERCOURSE WITH HER) WHILST SHE WAS SITTING UPON A CAMEL’S SADDLE, SHE SHOULD NOT REFUSE HIM.”

“O YOU WHO BELIEVE SURELY OF YOUR WIVES AND YOUR CHILDREN THERE ARE ENEMIES TO YOU (WHO MAY STOP YOU FROM OBEDIENCE OF ALLAH); THEREFORE BEWARE OF THEM! BUT IF YOU PARDON AND OVERLOOK, AND FORGIVE, THEN VERILY, ALLAH IS OFT-FORGIVING, MOST MERCIFUL.”

“IF A WOMAN DIES WHILE HER HUSBAND WAS PLEASED WITH HER, SHE WILL ENTER INTO PARADISE.”

“BY THE ONE IN WHOSE HAND IS MY SOUL, THERE IS NO MAN WHO CALLS HIS WIFE TO HIS BED, AND SHE REFUSES HIM, BUT THE ONE WHO IS IN HEAVEN WILL BE ANGRY WITH HER, UNTIL THE HUSBAND IS PLEASED WITH HER ONCE MORE.”

“ALLAH (SUBHAANAHU WA ‘TA’AALAA) WILL CURSE THOSE PROCRASTINATING WOMEN WHO, WHEN THEIR HUSBANDS CALL THEM TO THEIR BEDS, SAY ‘I WILL, I WILL . . .’ UNTIL HE FALLS ASLEEP.”

“IF ALLAH GRANTS A MUSLIM A RIGHTEOUS WIFE, THIS HELPS HIM PRESERVE HALF OF HIS RELIGION (FAITH). HE SHOULD, THEREFORE, FEAR ALLAH AS REGARDS THE OTHER HALF.”

“THE BEST WOMAN IS THE ONE WHO WHEN YOU LOOK AT HER, YOU ARE PLEASED; WHEN YOU ORDER HER, SHE OBEYS; IF YOU ARE ABSENT FROM HER, SHE GUARDS HERSELF AND YOUR PROPERTY.”

The Prophet Muhammad (Salla-Allahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam) said:
“A WOMAN IS MARRIED FOR FOUR REASONS: HER PROPERTY, LINEAGE, BEAUTY AND RELIGION. YOU SHOULD BETTER MARRY THE RELIGIOUS ONE OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE”.

The Prophet Muhammad (Salla-Allahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam) said:
“O WOMEN, GIVE CHARITY, FOR I HAVE SURELY SEEN THAT YOU FORM THE MAJORITY OF THE INHABITANTS OF HELL.” THEY ASKED, ‘WHY IS THIS SO, O MESSENGER OF ALLAH?” HE SAID, “BECAUSE YOU CURSE TOO MUCH, AND ARE UNGRATEFUL FOR GOOD TREATMENT (ON THE PART OF YOUR HUSBANDS).

According to another report given by Al-Bukhaari, he said:
“BECAUSE THEY ARE UNGRATEFUL FOR GOOD AND KIND TREATMENT. EVEN IF YOU TREATED ONE OF THEM (THESE UNGRATEFUL WOMEN) WELL FOR AN ENTIRE LIFETIME, THEN SHE SAW ONE FAULT IN YOU, SHE WOULD SAY, ‘I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING GOOD FROM YOU!’”

According to a report given by Ahmad, a man said:
“O MESSENGER OF ALLAH, ARE THEY NOT OUR MOTHERS AND SISTERS AND WIVES?” HE SAID, “OF COURSE, BUT WHEN THEY ARE TREATED GENEROUSLY THEY ARE UNGRATEFUL, AND WHEN THEY ARE TESTED, THEY DO NOT HAVE PATIENCE.”
[Ahmad, 3/428; its narrators are Rijal Al-Sahih]
“THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH WENT OUT TO THE PRAYER-GROUND FOR THE (PRAYER OF) ADHA OR FITR, AND HE PASSED BY THE WOMEN AND SAID, “O WOMEN! GIVE IN CHARITY, FOR I HAVE BEEN SHOWN THAT YOU SHALL BE THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE FIRE.” SO THEY ASKED, ‘WHY IS THAT, O MESSENGER OF ALLAH?’ HE REPLIED, “YOU CURSE FREQUENTLY AND ARE UNGRATEFUL TO YOUR HUSBANDS.”

The Prophet Muhammad (Salla-Allahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam) said:
“I WAS SHOWN THE FIRE AND FOUND THAT THE MAJORITY OF ITS INHABITANTS WERE WOMEN, DUE TO INGRATITUDE. IT WAS SAID: IS IT THAT THEY DISBELIEVE IN ALLAH? As far as the role of women is concerned, I understood very quickly when I married a Turkish man and moved to Saudi Arabia, that being a wife and a mother is easier in the East than in the West. That's why women in the West feel overburdened and escape to feminism as the answer, although it's not.
Let me explain, from my experience.
Families in the East are larger. Let's imagine a stereotypical family. The man has, e.g., 5 brothers and sisters, the woman has 5 brothers and sisters, there are the parents and the in laws living in the same city, million cousins and neighbors who are almost like family. Compare that to the West, you are either an only child, or you have one sibling who went to another city because they landed a better job. And sometimes you don't even know the names of your neighbours.
That's why, responsibilities feel lighter in the East. Sometimes when the kids drive you crazy you call one of the million people on your list, you say you've got a headache, and you send your kids to your e.g. neighbors for 2 hours or to your inlaws for the weekend.
In Ramadan women cook together, sometimes two or three women cook for the whole family and therefore you have a day off (or many days off, to be honest) . Sometimes your cousin has had a hard day and you cook for her.
Sometimes people come and decide to help you with cleaning. Just like that. Also, househelp is not a taboo subject. Noone ever suggests that you have a princess-like attitude because you requested help. And it's not the rich people. Middle class too hire househelp. Even the poor, hire them from time to time. Everyone understands that it's really hard to manage home.
When you're postpartum, people you don't even know prepare food for you because your friend told her friend and she wanted to help although she has no idea who you are.
You cut your finger badly but have no band aid - no problem - go and knock on your neighbours door at 11 pm (it reallyhappened to me).
There's this forgotten part about the fitrah of a woman - our whole psychology is about relationships and cooperation with other people. This has been lost in the West. A Muslim wife has to do it all by herself, manage home kids and husband, although in the course of history women always cooperated. Normally, we would ask other women for help but since there aren't any around you ask your husband. Which is, again ,understandable from the point of view of our fitrah/ nature - we cooperate more then men, but unfortunately men are not happy about it.
That's why I think for a traditional marriage you need a traditional society. And I completely agree, as a Muslim woman (and absolutely not a feminist) , that women in the West have it harder and men don't realize. We are indeed on 24\7 alert. However long a man's shift is, it ends. Ours never ends. So I understand where she's coming from BUT in a truly traditional society she would never feel so burdened.
To sum up, feminism is not the answer, large loving supportive families and neighbors are. I swear it all becomes easier.
Rubbish lived in US worked from home cooked took care of my son and later on my daughter. My wife had to go to office. Did it for a few years .

I finally had to aak her stop xooking so i can ensure that my children can learn to cook.. They do make all kinds of excuses. I twll them if you cant learn to cook you can forget me dropping them to school..
