Excellent tutorial..Clear & easy..Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial It's a great idea
Thanks for the video. I think this is the easiest one yet
Great video! Explained very well thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a great idea!! :)
Awesome!!
Great 👍🏽
The dyi motor should last a very long time. It's a slow turning motor
Looks very easy to make. Can you have more one dow rod and change them out with diff6size football's for different size projects?
The way I did it you probably couldn't. But I think you could figure out a way to do it!
Ok that is what I was wondering as to me you would be only able to make one size cups or tumblers so if interested in different sizes the Michael purchase may be the way to go?
Do you have any advice on how to build one for square vases?
Hmmmm....You would just need something to hold it well. Maybe take the vase to the ball section of the dollar store and see if you can find one to fit tightly?
Thanks for the video. If I wanted make side by side how would I figure out how to measure?
You may have said, but did you make sure everything was level as you built?
I did but I probably did not say.
WHAT is that very pretty surface you are working on??? Please?? Thx!
They grey background it just contact paper!
Do you have the measurements that you used for the wood pieces?
I know it was a 1 x 6. Otherwise, I would use your maximum size cup as a guide to the length.
How do you connect the wooden dowel to the motor
We did a really tight fit and pressed it on there.
Do you know how to make a manual turner?
This is the only video I have for making a turner.
Where do I get a motor, the special plug?
You can find links for all of those in the description for the video. Click "show more" to see it.
Also, you can try a 360 servo
Yep! There are several options when it comes to a motor. I know a lot of people buy a rotisserie for a BBQ grill and change it over for a tumbler turner.
Do you have a video using it?
I don't think I do. I have a video on how to make a tumbler but I made it before I made this turner.
What size is the motor supposed to be?
There is a link to the motor I used in the description.
I thought you were going to give an actual tutorial...how to drill the hole, how to mount the wooden dowel...
