- Spotted an old foundation off a back road, that was given away by some HUGE Lilac bushes! I found a pretty good haul of relics, during TWO trips. My "Diggin' Dog Mac joins me, so C'mon along!
Nice finds! I really like those old crosscut saws. I have one that belonged to my great, great grandpa. I always feel like I have a connection to old things. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong time period.
Then metal detecting is JUST the right hobby!!!!!
🎉🎉 Thanks Steve
Love your show buddy! Super cool finds! Love that crotal bell! Congrats! Pre- chainsaw Era saw blades had me giggling! Very cool! Good luck Steve! Rk.
Thanks 👍 that was a 2 bell-2saw foundation!
Awesome crotal bells, Steve. That is a cool old saw blade. Nice horse shoe, axe head, pocket watch, bell, and spender clip. Have a great weekend
Thanks Dave…it was a fun search! Pretty overgrown, but 2 bells and 2 saws is great!
wow, great finds. crotal bell on first pull.
I know! Two bells, both on first pull? The little one was an octave lower than the #6. Pretty cool!
🎉you push the winder button to open the cover . Very cool
That was a PSE situation: Pieces Scattered Everywhere!🤣
I found a really cool key wind pocketwatch frame the other day…I think that’s the 1st one of those I’ve actually found so far.
Hi there !! Love your videos !!! I recently read that pennnsyvania is the WORST state for ticks...I was just wondering what you do to protect yourself as well as your pet ? Thanks in advance....
Mac takes a monthly medication that kills them while they attach…and I wish I could take the same!
I treat my boots with pyrethrum, and check myself regularly. But where we spend our time is EXACTLY where they live. Truly, Pa is absolutely FILTHY with ticks. Back in March, I took FIFTY ticks off Mackie’s fur, after a 2.5 hour hunt down near a stream. They kind of stagger to the surface after biting him and getting poisoned. Fifty…that’s insane!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying History in the Hand…thanks for watching!
