Thanks Dave. There are literally thousands of options...but this is just ONE guy's way of doing it. But I still think it'll be helpful.

Good info. I've been in it for about 3 months now. Have about everything but the headphones and small coil. Been thinking about getting an 8" for my xtp. I'm ready to get to swinging now that my work week is over lol

That’s great, Darin!
The small coil helps focus on just one target at a time, and makes for less noisy chatter. And the headphones really help black out excess noise like dry leaves, and wind or traffic noise! They make it a little bit warmer when it’s cold out too!!!

@@HistoryintheHandMetalDetecting Good grief, we are so completely different in what we take with us detecting. I use none of the items you mentioned. I use a small mattock to dig and a back pack to carry my finds. Dirt and all goes in the back pack along with dirt with small finds in my pants or coat pocket. And yes, I have cut my fingers on glass. I just can't wear gloves, I have to feel what I'm uncovering. Really enjoy your videos.

HaHa...to each their own I guess! I just kind of started into this thing and added what I thought would be helpful.
Like I say...this is just one man's approach! But no matter how different our supplies: we're all drawn by the mystery of what we MIGHT find under the next signal!
