This is the best fight in the show by a long shot i fucking LOVE the way morgan moves here she actually feels like something other than a fodder character
worth a movie scene. This show truly captured star wars. It's not supposed to be a narrative bible. This is literally just good guys vs bad guys with lasers. Fans are so trash. I feel like half of the people who like this franchise never go outside.

Even though I have thoughts on how Morgan was actually killed at least her character went out with an absolute BANG!!! This fight was easily the best in the series.

Even from the mandalorian I had a feeling the actress for Morgan had a badass history in martial arts. Lo and behold her godfather was Bruce freaking Lee
Sabine, more than anybody, should have a lightsaber/blaster hybrid. I was always a little disappointed that Ezra didn't retain that unique gimmick from his initial blue saber/blaster hybrid to his standard green saber, but it would be an even more wasted opportunity for a Mandalorian/Jedi like Sabine not to make the most of such a combination. Having a weapon that complements her ability to seamlessly shift from Mandalorian-minded ranged combat to Force-Sensitive-minded defense and close-ranged combat would be incredibly rewarding to see realized on-screen.
The 3 years later rematch.

I'm convinced the fights look so slow nowadays because the LED blades are very heavy (except if you're Hayden Christensen). Wish they brought back the old sticks (the only downside is that they don't glow and provide accurate lighting)

She’s probably just gonna fix the broken one or make a new one considering she’s got a ship filled with spare lightsaber parts and a droid that’s been making lightsabers for thousands of years
Interesting idea, but i have a counter theory. Im leaning more towards her droid companion helping her build a replacement for her shoto ... the parts for which would be good quest fodder. Remember, the droid has centuries of experience teaching padwans how to build lightsabers. If I were a writer for the series, thats what id do. Heck, why not a crossover visit to Mando's armorer, and comission a shoto hilt made from beskar ? Beskar deflects energy, so perhaps it might enhance the power and focus of a kyber crystal mounted within a beskar resonator ? Picture a shoto with a blade even tighter and brighter than her primary blade, or perhaps a new unique visual effect. That's what i'd try.

Ahsoka has such a unique fighting style, being the only wielder of both a Shoto and Full sized blade.

Did Ahsoka keep the broken lightsaber? She's gonna want that crystal if she's going to keep dual-wielding
This is still unknown. There are three options:
1)She will restore her old shoto (somehow).
2)She will build a new one, since Hyang has the materials for this.
3)She will use the Talzin blade, and perhaps she will “purify” it, as she did with the kyber crystals.
In their first duel, it got knocked out of her hands into water during Mando S2.

I have a major problem when it comes to the recent sound design. It's the long clash sounds when the blades lock up. It's the same sound they've been overusing in every duel since the Death Star ruins duel in TROS. Watch and listen in that duel, two times you hear a long clash that sounds new (for TROS). And like I said, since then they've been overusing that sound effect. In this duel, you hear it almost everytime. I am glad they made new sounds for the clash, but they're abusing it now
But at 2:05 I applaud them. As the Star Destroyer is passing overhead, you hear the engines get louder as they are exposed to them (but out of frame). Very realistic sounding, I noticed on the first watch

BTW that spinning back kick would have cost Elsbeth leg.

One of the better showings for Disney choreography, HOWEVER, there are so many wasted movements in the blade spins, too much clumsy footwork from Sabine and Ahsoka to believe they are seasoned warriors, plus the slightly noticeable hesitation before the hard strikes from the actresses to make sure they meet their queues is a bit jarring.
As the only tip of her second lightsaber got cut off could she still repair it if the Crystal is still intact 😅I really hope so, I love her with dual sabers

Haven't watched this series, but this Morgan person is no Asaij Ventress, and her younger Clone Wars self could duel with her just fine, so shouldn't have had that much trouble with whomever this is.

Ahsoka just sucks. Mother Talzin was an exception of the rule, being hundreds times above the rest, who were easily cut down by Grievous. Who also owned Ahsoka. Twice.

Hmmm, This isn't a series that I'm likely to ever watch. It's super clunky and seems like a high production cost fan film. What a shame. Ahsoka was one of the best things about Clone wars.
I think a large part of the reason is that Filoni hasn’t ever done live action before, let alone live action Star Wars. The combat in his animated work for the most part isn’t constrained by technical/physical limitations like they are here.
The fight was way too slow for two well-trained Force users, and I wish Ahsoka would STOP. FUCKING. SPINNING. Doesn't help that the writing was dreadful.
