This deck is scary close to my temur grinding station deck. Lol!
At this point I think the only thing that will reasonably quell the issue of scam elementals is something so wildly hard-coded to counter them that they become entirely unplayable. Like a trap-style counterspell that becomes free and uncounterable if someone didn't pay mana to cast a spell, and extirpates what it counters.
Doesn’t Lavinia/Boromir stop them? Not that people play those
@@18Zekeunfortunately Lavinia only stops non-creature spells and Boromir is a bit too slow on turn 3 Maybe T2 with delighted halfling). Too bad because I really liked them as answers…

Basicly teferi's response, essentialy a trap that says counter target activated or triggered ability of a creature, if an ability was countered this way exile the source. ----- Trap cost 0 if a creature was casted whitout spending mana.

Exactly what I was thinking. "Are you tired of decks running the elementals or Bow Masters?" Proceeds to run DRC, Ragavan, and W6. Been Modern for a while, and that's apparently fine. I'm just curious what happened to WoTC's philosophy that they didn't want cards to homogenize decks.
So one thing I've seen be good is copy cat spells but I'm trying to decide between my inevitable betrayal deck or a villainous wealth tron deck
6:36 first, this was a cool game even if a L. I wonder if equip, no attacks is better here? Make them have or draw removal (which topdeck preordain into Ex Iteration maybe they do) but more likely you take five from murktide and block one of their DRC's because yours survives combat? You net lose 2-4 most likely b/c lifelink on blocking and killing one of their DRC, and maybe cast jegantha or another spell the next turn and get in with your DRC to then gain four more they're at 4 and who knows...

The game you lost vs hammer was atrocious to watch not gonne lie... I counted at least 6/7 mistake
I have to agree mostly, you just have to play very cautious vs that deck, and I definitely think he could have won that match.
Your second match was frustrating to watch. You made all the mistakes one can do against control. When playing aggro against control, you need to play differently, it is a war of nutrition not of speed...
