    Good video. I just bought a new 750X, and your video is better than the instructions that came with the machine. Cleared up some things for me. Thanks a bunch.

    Great tutorial Bud!! Those machines are great, I've had one since the 80's!! Saves time and takes all the guess work out plus no matter how good you are at sharpening a bit you'll never get it as correct as that machine does!!☺

    Huge like Lloyd, just yesterday I was frustrated by dull drill bits and had to sharpen it on the grinder, and as you know it is not always perfect so I had to it multipal times, awesome video and machine.

    That's pretty slick. I have always sharpened mine by hand. Fluting drills for years you get good at it but now my eyesight is not very good and even with bifocals I struggle seeing. I could really use one of those and I'm putting it on my Amazon wish list. Thanks Lloyd.

    • @RustyGlovebox
      @RustyGlovebox  Před 4 lety

      Thanks Ron, it seems like to me older drill bits were made different and easier to sharpen. The newer bits have a different contour to the flights and harder to get sharpen correctly it seems to me.

    Last year My stepdad gave me his Sear's ,drill sharpener . It very heavy duty and i need to print off the PDF manual for it . I need to do the same not only sort my drill bits out but sharpen them. Lloyd this would be a good task for me to starting back working in the garage This would give my foot some mroe healing up time. I heard about these but never seen one working or how to set one up.

      CarCrazyCans Garage A good quality carbide bit run at a low speed with oil. I had drilled a lot of truck frames and that worked well for me. The bits are more expensive but they last very good. Good luck

    Thanks Lloyd. I enjoyed that because I have an inexpensive knock-off of the Drill Doctor and although it does work okay, I think the original looks like it's considerably better made and probably works better.
