8:39 These are called Rotary Rasp File Bits. They are used for de-burring, shaping and grooving. De-burring; as in after you have drilled a hole in metal use these bits to smooth over the edges of the hole and remove burrs.

For the first one, to clean up the threaded bar, I used to just screw on a nut past where I was cutting then wind it flush up to the cut, quick file to take off the "stub of thread". Then when you take off the nut it deburrs it

Good idea until you’re cutting 3m lengths into 1m rods, you’d spend half the day spinning nuts on

It seems most (not all, some of standard ones are O.k.-ish) of these "Incredible and Useful" attachments performing odd or/and poorly even when they are new. I don't think they will last for long and bring any positive experience to their users.
