I feel like warped are super underrated like no one ever talks about it and it's animation is rad. only downside is it's planks and their still good it just doesn't fit with a lot of builds. A tier no doubt

Spruce is easily an S-tier type of wood for me, simply because of how easy it is to get _tons_ of it
Mega Spruce Trees are easy to grow, simply needing a 2x2 configuration of Spruce Saplings [and, of course, the necessary space for growth], those are usually tall enough to give you around a whole stack of logs in one chopping, and Spruce Trees generally have enough leaves that you're pretty likely to make back the saplings you spent planting it, and then some
And to add onto that, the typically high amounts of leaves makes 'em great for hedge-maze purposes because it's easy to get leaves galore
agreed, I wish the other woods had so much versatility

I love the spruce D. Oak combo particularly with the D. Oak as things like the frame and roof and spruce as the solid base
I find acacia doors the best, the trapdoors are super good with Japanese themed builds.

Spruce is easily my favorite, but I built a smaller house in survival recently and used a mix of Birch for floors, spruce for walls, and jungle for the roof and it looked pretty good
As a gamer that hasn't played Minecraft like I did when I was 12, this was actually really fun to watch.
I am the one person who seems to like jungle. It matches certain pallets really well

Acacia is the best wood! I built an acacia mansion on top of an acacia plateau using sandstone as accents and it’s so good

With the nether wood variants I feel like they are amassing if you actually know how to use them, the same can be said with the other woods but its the most extreme out of all of the wood types, just because of the odd colours

Here is my opinion. Spruce, Acacia, Dark Oak and the nether wood = A tier.
Everything else = b tier
Jungle wood = straight to hell tier.

i sorta like jungle because its like oak but more interesting/unique, but if you make a whole build with it you wouldnt really realize, unless you placed down an oak block next to it and realized how yellowed and grey it looks in comparison

Ok but hear me out, Jungle planks are amazing. They contrast beautifully with both dark and light woods. Are warm and not too bright (cough couch acacia). I'm not gonna say they're the best but used in the right situation like flooring how I tend to use em, they generally add to a build
Jungle tends to get a bad rap because the logs look like poop, but jungle planks/doors/etc are massively underrated

S: Spruce, Dark Oak
A: Warped, Oak
B: Jungle, Crimson
C: Acacia
F-: Birch

@@swagster700 I disagree with people that say acacia is good. The tree is... interesting, but you can literally see the open cut of the log from underneath.
The gray of the log only really works with stone, but it's pretty dark for that even.
The orange of the inside only really works with orange wool and copper and maaayyybe jungle wood.
Acacia is way too situational for me. At least it's not that disgusting vanilla ice/zebra mashup looking wood.
Personal Ranking:
Worst: Acacia, good with it's self and in specifically-styled architecture but not much else.
2nd Worst: Azalea, just uses different leaves. The trees can look good but the random dirrection annoys me. (Also I found one under water naturally which is cool)
Tie: Warped + Crimson, looks cool in the nether but not much else. The door and trapdoor designs look amazing as well.
2nd tie: Jungle and Birch, Jungle trees are really cool and also for treehouse cities to be possible. Birch works well with oak but the log is only useful for Zebra statues.
4th: Mangrove, really interesting generation, cool wood colour and unique properties.
3rd: Dark Oak, looks good coupled with Spruce and in haunted houses and the trees look amazing.
2nd: Oak, can't go wrong with the OG.
1st: Spruce, f***ing emaculate.

When I build, I usually go for a combination of spruce planks and stripped dark oak logs.

birch planks are my favourite wood block, but for me to use it in more builds it needs an intermediary between it and oak, a darker accent colour, like spruce works for dark oak as a lighter accent

Oak + Cobble (A classic for any minecraft player)
Birch + Polished Diorite
Spruce + Andesite
Dark oak + Stone bricks
Jungle + Polished Granite
Acacia + Orange concrete (I wanna put easy to find/craft blocks)
Crimson + Netherack block or nether brick
Warped + Cyan concrete
