It'd be cool if you could put the patches on the karts and bikes too, along with maybe being able to unlock and customize the amount of wear and tear the kart's paint job has based on your amount of hours you have in the game, or of the patches based on how long you've had them on the kart/outfit (kinda like warpaints in tf2)
That would add into the detail of the streaks you leave on the ground when you drift
Also I think you could use coins to repair your tires as that would give them a better use

- Babies to skins of their older selves
- Koopalings to skin of Bowser Jr
- Dry Bones to skin of Koopa Troopa
- Adding More Babies as Skins
- Adding More Mario Spin Off Characters
- Adding Captain Falcon
- Also being able to unlock skins via Mission Mode & a Coin Shop

Should be a specific challenge and metal nit shiny. Like you unlock silver and gold shy guy by getting 1st in shy guy falls in 100cc and 200cc. And a metallic red you get when you play 50 tracks with. 50 tracks is a reasonable goal I think, since that’s not absurdly high. Also they aren’t full body textures, just shiny clothing

i find it funny how every problem people have with mario kart 8 deluxe is completely fixed when you go to mario kart tour, people immediately dismissed the game because of the gacha when its tracks (ninja hideaway, tokyo blur) are unironically incredible
tldr: port tour to switch so i can play this game on not a phone

The biggest upsetting thing about the BCP is that Nintendo stripped tour from most users... The BCP is kinda the only way to play MKT tracks unfortunately... kinda a cash grab, but sadly it working, cause who would pass up double content for more than half the price? Not me, that's (almost) A steal! (Would've been a steal if they didn't get lazy with the graphics)

Kirby has been an idea I’ve grown more and more fond over for this series as of late.
Captain Falcon has been on my wish list ever since Big Blue’s inclusion
Goomba because I think they should be in more Mario spin-offs

I love how this guys takes the time to fully animate everything in this video and chareter while having an honest and true opinion while png tubers are lazy and lick boots to nintendo. This guy is cool
He's not really a pngtuber, from what I've seen atleast. He's more of just another animator, like JaidenAnimations or SomethingElseYT. He animates, not just slaps some lazy png on the screen as he talks.

I too would love to play as a Luma in Mario Kart instead of a Baby Version of Rosalina, someone who is basically Nintendo's "The Watcher."
Baby Rosalina serves zero purpose other than filler, just give us Luma as a playable character.

Couple things I want to say
1. That weight class organization from MKWii should be utilized more often in MK, so I agree with you.
2. I do like how you made the clones as character alts; gives the roster more room for new comers(though if ANOTHER baby character was added I'd say it should be Baby Luma as another Galaxy representative & to fill in the baby quota)
3. Speaking of newcomers, I love ALL the characters you chose for the DLC Waves! However, for the Team Mario Wave, the guest star to me should be either Kirby or Captain Falcon. My reason for Kirby is that Mario made cameos in his series before so I though it be cool as a lightweight. As for C. Falcon it's simple, HE HAS TWO OF HIS COURSES IN MK8! HOW CAN HE NOT BE A GUEST STAR NINTENDO?! C Falcon would be Mid-Heavy weight racer

Cool alt for character like Wario should be his biker clothes from the Warioware series(for obvious reasons). Another alt I would like to see is King Boo's designs from the Luigi's Mansion series.
Booster Racer Pack-
If one more character could be added into each of your packs, these would be my choices:
Team Mario Pack - Cappy
Reason is to not only have another representative for Mario Odyssey, but he's has to be Mario's best companion characters. I say this from a Major Mechanic, Tutorial, & Playable partner standpoint. Cappy would be a Lightweight.
Team Bowser Pack- Boom Boom or Pow Pow
Since 3D Land, I feel like we seen those show up frequently in of Mario mainline & spinoff titles nowadays. So either one of them showing up in the Team Bower Pack would great addition being recurring bosses. Their weight class would be Mid-Heavy .
Wild Pack- Banjo
Okay admittedly, this is a bit of guilty pleasure seeing how he guest starred in Diddy Kong Racing. I just thought returning in a racing game like Mario Kart be cool. Banjo weight class would be changed from Heavy to Medium weight.
Royal Pack- King K Rool
Like King Bob-Omb, King K Rool also served as a boss in 3DDK game, DK64. Not only that, he's been in numerous games, including Mario spinoff titles like Super Sluggers; so to me I feel like he would be good Royal Pack edition. King K Rool's weight class would be Heavy
Frantic Pack- Nabbit
Original was thinking of placing a character like Captain Syrup, but Nabbit won out in my mind. My reasonings is he would serve as Mario Bros U representative & he had playable appearances in spinoffs like Mario Golf World Tour. Nabbit weight class would be Light- Medium weight.

Just in my honest opinion,Not trying to attack yours, but I think for the most part the original organisation system was pretty good.
Up top we have the famous humans of the group like Mario Luigi and Peach,
Below we have some of the non-human famous characters of Yoshi and Toad and some others,
Then we have some villains (Donkey Kong was one in the original Donkey Kong game,okay?)
And now the Koopa siblings or whatever the heck they’re called I can’t remember
And finally the non-mario characters grouped by their series!
In yours, I took about 7 seconds to find mario and he was stuck in the middle of the group hidden away.
That is not something you want from a game called MARIO kart.
Anyways,just my opinion so please don’t be annoyed.

Having greater outfit customization options for your Mii in Mario Kart would be a welcome change.

@@juliannocartagena2007 Oh.. my bad. I’ve never played Mario Kart Wii before. I’ve played Mario Kart 7 where helmets were not an option for the Miis, but were included in Mario Kart 8 without the option to take them off.

I'm not actually a fan of the "give every character a metal version" idea, I think it would lose its appeal when you look at the other 11 racers on the track and half of them are expressionless metal blobs.

If metal variants are a problem, why not mix up some of the heavy forms with characters such as Giga Bowser (Unlikely since it's Smash Bros but we can dream), or Emperor Bulblax, or Cosmic Guardian?

I’m watching this in October of 2023 and it’s weird to me that he got all the characters except one right that are either added or going to be added like not all of them but six of them and five of the six were right. It made me wonder if he either helped or someone at Nintendo saw this video
Generally, I think the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe roster was order pretty alright:
Row 1 is about the main humans: the two plumbers and the three princesses. The primary protagonists, so to speak. Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach are there because they're power-up versions of two of those main humans.
Row 2 consists _mostly_ of ally characters and small enemies that fit well with said ally characters. There's ONE character that I believe should've been on a different row: King Boo would fit much better on Row 4.
Row 3 is basically a parallel of Row 1: The vanilla humans are now babies, and the power-up humans are now metallic humans.
Row 4 is dedicated towards the bad guys and rivals of the series, with Wario and Waluigi even on the rows parallel to Mario and Luigi, and DK and Bowser, who are often counterparts to each other, placed next to each other. Although, Dry Bones would fit better on Row 2 instead.
Row 5 is dedicated to the Koopalings, in order of size
Finally, Row 6 consists of all the crossover characters in the game. Including the Miis.
So yeah, there DOES seem to be some logic in the order of the character select screen of MK8Deluxe. The only characters I feel should've been swapped are Dry Bones and King Boo. King Boo, being a _big_ rival character, doesn't fit at all with the allies and small enemies on Row 2, and would've fit much better among other rival characters like Waluigi or Dry Bowser. Meanwhile, Dry Bones is not a significant rival character and probably is only on Row 4 because of Dry Bowser. However, Koopa Troopa isn't on Row 4 either, and as a small enemy, Dry Bones should've been among other small enemies like Shy Guy or Lakitu.
I feel like a Booster Character Pass would have double the characters as well, so I would dedicate similar themes across the board (with except babies and Koopalings being replaced by new themes, or things would get too unoriginal).
Row 7: More main humans, significant non-human characters, and power-ups (Pauline, Honey Queen, Peachette)
Row 8: More smaller/friendly-looking enemy types (Monty Mole, Wiggler, Birdo)
Row 9: Donkey Kong characters (Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Donkey Kong Jr)
Row 10: WarioWare characters (Mona, Jimmy T, Ashley)
Row 11: Bowser's troops that don't look as friendly, and maybe some remaining rival characters (Kamek, Boom Boom, King Bob-omb)
Row 12: More crossover characters (Min Min, Kirby, R.O.B.)

As some sort of reflex, I actually threw my fist up and wooted at King Bob-Omb's appearance. He's not something I ever expected or thought of as a playable mario kart character, and he's not a character I even think of very much outside of mario 64, but apparently I have a deep-rooted excitement for him as a character and I think he'd be a fantastic addition to the roster.
6:47 what’s funny is that there is a Mariokart hotwheels collection that has Diddy Kong in the pipe frame and Mach 8. Nintendo literally knows what Diddy Kong would look like in the game, so why don’t they just put him in?

Honestly, Mario Kart Wii is still my favorite Mario Kart of all time. The roster is fantastic, the tracks are stellar, and the music is fantastic. The game was basically my whole childhood.

Not only your ideas are incredible and with the addition of new tracks can easily make a new Mario Kart game that I would be genuinely excited for, with clever ideas that are actually not overboard and actually plausible but I love your character selection, though imo they should actually complement the Booster Course Pass to make something like a MK8DX Booster Pass with characters and tracks.
And oh my god, the visuals on this... ARE AMAZING!
Not only you have remade the entire UI extremely accurately and added your style on the character icons, made some incredible, Nintendo-like visuals with the "ShinGo" official font and the checkerboards and just wow, your style in general with your animation and your artstyle, are super stunning and soothing to look at, especially the colors.

When you unlock Thwomp, he also gets you a special item that you can use whenever. It's the only item he can get and it's called "Thwomps Revenge". It's like the pow block except it instantly kills everyone on the track and ends the game, placing him in first place automatically.

I remember when The Original Mariokart 8 brought Link into the game and me and my friends were freaking out on the couch while playing MK8. And then I remember one of us spoke out. If they had the idea to add Link, what about a character such as Captain Falcon? A Famous Racing Game Character.
Falcon should be in given the blue falcon, big blue, mute city and a mii costume for him airway exist

2. It's kinda funny how it seems like you're describing what Mario Kart Tour did with all the new Characters to that franchise, but convert it to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I know it's hard to accept, but Tour is an official title in the series, which already tried a lot new things. Admitted not in the best possible way... 👀

I feel like Dry Bowser should be a varient of Bowser. Their statistics are the same, they’re basically the same character, and they are going to be put next to each other anyways. Dry bones is a different weight class then Koopa Troopa, so I do t think he should be a varient.
I would genuinely love a Mario Kart that has a roster using characters throughout the franchise and the spin-offs. Imagine racing against Vivian, Geno, King K. Rool, Fawful, Mona, and even Burt the Bashful.

Oh god, I genuinely don’t know how to feel about the metal idea… On one hand, yay, it’s an option to make lightweights heavier, and it’ll probably look cool. But a metal option for every heavyweight? Metal Dry Bowser? What even? Also having two metal characters was enough to get flack from fans, so this kind of stunt would give those fellas an absolute field day.
Also I feel like if the roster blew up to this size, Nabbit would be inevitable. Just sayin

I LITERALLY REMEMBER R.O.B. FROM MARIO KART ON THE DS. My brother used to always play as him and then we got the game that he’s from and then he became our main racer for all of our online races. This brought back millions of memories. Thanks Madz!

4:49 This is possibly one of the worst ideas that I honestly would hate to see make it into the game. First, not everybody has Nintendo Switch Online. Second, I'm sure everybody can agree that restricting content (especially "skins") for higher skilled players is very bad. Third, completionists would have to do 1000 races for each of the characters (an absurd amount of time). Fourth, how would it feel for a new player to see loads of locked content right when they open the game? Please, please think about all of the community before saying stuff like "you would have to win an online tourney to unlock variants" what about less-skilled players? Don't make content exclusive to a certain time or only for elite players.

I feel like making every character and kart part have the same stats would be the best way to fix mario karts balance. By making every character and kart part have the same speed, weight, acceleration, handling, etc, you’d have every single character and car part be equally viable.
The number of times I have seen that purple f(censored) Waluigi on that stupid looking Wild Wiggler and those dumb Roller tires makes me want to rip my hair out. Those people are unfun tryhards and I just immediately leave the lobby whenever I see them.

The character roster organization kinda made sense to me:
Row 1: Plumbers & Princesses
Row 2: Supporting Cast
Row 3: Babies (and metals)
Row 4: Bad Guys
Row 5: Koopalings
Row 6: Guests
The Koop slings are bad guys
And donkey Kong barely makes sense as a bad guy

Just putting this here; I really like the idea of the Metal characters, but that just makes Metal Mario seem more like just a metallic version of Mario and nothing else. Pink Gold Peach, I see the problem, Metal Mario, he's very cool and deserves to be his own character, like what Mario Kart 7 said about him. Whilst it's a brilliant idea, it throws Metal Mario under the bus. -Maybe a Metal Metal Mario would do?- Just throwing words at the wall, that's all.

Great video, I love these ideas!! I'd love to see this stuff added. One extra idea - if they wanted to go the extra mile, maybe each DLC character comes with a course that matches them in some way, whether it is new or returning. Since there are 4 characters in each wave, there could also be a new cup added, with one course matching each character. I'm curious to see where the Mario Kart series will go from here! I haven't played the game in a while, maybe I should go both it up again...

5:56 Couldn't agree more. I've lost passion to continue playing a lot of recent Nintendo games just because there's really. Nothing to unlock. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe starting with all of the characters except for GOLD MARIO!!! really killed a lot of the fun for me.
