Another wonderful show, Paul. Thank you.
I cringed. What to do then?
Stop being a nazi Paul
Thanks for Polish president, government and people for great help for Ukraine !!!!
Huge respect to Poland for being Europe's number 1 in supporting Ukraine!
Thank you so very much for your videos, Paul!
Love your positivity and enthusiasm for supporting Ukraine.
Slava Ukraine!
💙🐾💛💕🇺🇦💕💛🐾💙
My new goal for the third phase of life is to become more Polish and Ukrainian.
I enjoyed !
Great, very meaningful interview. Poland one of the biggest friend of Ukraine. I am so glad to have them on our side and very grateful for help. It is extraordinary.
Great again Paul! Glory to 🇺🇦 heroes of freedom. Thanks to 🇵🇱 for showing so much knowledge and compassion towards their brothers in 🇺🇦! Without 🇵🇱, 🇺🇦 would have been lost. Texas 🇺🇸 🇺🇦 🇵🇱 🇬🇧 🇪🇺 🇯🇵 🇦🇺 🇨🇦 🇰🇷 🇸🇪 🇫🇮 Baltic’s together for victory.
I came here from your interview on Jake Broe's channel. This is the first time I've run into a Polish surname based on Dęb. Good word for the situation! My Polish vocabulary is very small, though, so I'm mostly just congratulating myself on seeing a word I know.
Good for you ! It means Oak, so yes, perfect word for the occasion, the strongest tree.
It's actually derived from Dąb but yeah, we make it hard ;)
@@Peterski yes we do, lol- hard for the wannabe conquerors.
@@Peterski Ah, thanks. One of my grandmothers came from a village in Poland that has Dąb in its name. Her brother gave it as Dembe in his naturalization application, which was an important clue to where it was. I obviously haven't learned any parts of speech very well. Theirs was a German village in Russian-ruled Poland, probably one of the Olęnder villages. An uncle of my grandmother served in the Russian cavalry and learned to write in Russian, and probably to speak it, too. Whether he was a willing/unwilling conscript or what, I have no idea. They all came to the U.S. before WWI, which was a good thing, seeing how Russia treats its soldiers. And there was some action near their village during the Polish-Soviet war that followed. Germans and Russians seem to have had trouble learning how to make themselves welcome in neighboring countries, but these connections give me an excuse to visit. On the last day of a week in Poland a few years ago I told my wife we should never come back, because it can't get any better than this and anything else would have to be a let-down. But I've been wanting to go back anyway.
Keep up the good work Paul
2x playback speed is convenient here. Thanks.
thankyou
Great interwiev. (Massaro has found his match.;))
Thanks Paul for your videos. Thank you to everyone who helps Ukraine. Ukrainians will never forget this.
Wow another great guest! It’s a little bit like Christmas every morning with these fantastic guest (gifts) you bring on to share !
Who’s next Radoslaw Sikorsky ? Julia Loffe? Simon Ostrovsky? Stephen Kotkin ? Victoria Nuland? Anthony Blinken?!
Fantastic show Paul !
Special thanks to the guest of course!
Julia Ioffe would be great!
Radek has not had a good run recently. Regrettably.
Many more big plans!
Good show, as always!
Thank you for another great video Paul
People of Poland are our real brothers and sisters, unlike orcs.
Thank you for another great interview, Paul! I am so grateful for everything the Polish government as well as their whole people have done and continue to do. I only wish my own government would take an example from them...
Poland and Ukraine are embracing a modern conception of friendship and complimentary interests and are choosing to disregard elements of a fraught history to move forward as allies. Russia does not understand mutual interests and are still trying to forcefully impose their will on their neighbours. I look forward to trade and cooperation between Poland and Ukraine in Europe. 🇺🇦 🤝 🇵🇱
As always, top notch guests
Poland is strategical and reliable ally.
Medvedev says ukraine will cease to exist in 3 years which is chilling
🇷🇺 says a lot. Almost 99% lies. They are 🤡.
Poland has done an incredible job of preparing in so many ways, but I am most impressed with all they have done to help refugees from Ukraine. They seemed to have read Russia’s playbook … to destroy cities and cause massive migrations as you discussed in other videos, such as your video on the topic of Syria with Mr. Barabandi.
Much respect for Poland. They understand how to support people in a time of need so when the time comes, those people can go home and rebuild. We are lucky to have them as an ally, but more importantly as a friend.
Love what Mr. Debski says about peace!!
Thank you Paul!
We haven't just read russian playbook. We suffered it. First for 123years during the partitioning of Poland, then after WW2 when we were forced to be a russian puppet state.
@@michaziomek Thank you for your enlightening comment. Poland has suffered in many ways over the years, but at least your people retain their dignity and humanity.
Paul, thank you for everyday work and supporting Ukraine !!!! 💙💛
Great conversation, thank you for your support of Ukraine, Paul! Thank you Slawomir and the people of Poland for your leadership in supporting Ukraine, za wolność naszą i waszą! Ukraine will win with the strong support of our friends and allies, Glory to the Heroes! 💛💙
100%
So impressed with Poland, and proud of the part of my heritage that is Polish. My mother’s mother’s brother was one of those wacky but incredibly brave Polish officers that attacked German tanks on horseback! My mother remembered as a child being terrified as the Germans searched her family’s property looking for him. (He was hiding in the barn at some point). I don’t want to use the term “Nazi” since that’s been redefined as anyone who is against Russia!😳
Nazis should become a new synonym to everything russian. Russian nazis.
Polish officers attacking German tanks on horseback is a myth created by Nazi propaganda in order to picture Poles as idiots.
Sorry to say but none of it ever happened.
Quit spreading stupidities and falsehoods. The Poles didn't attack the Germans on horseback!!!
German tanks*
.....and you're not Polish. You made this whole story up!!!
During February 2023, Massaro came under some criticism by independent media, first for posing with a flag of the Ukrainian neo-nazi Azov Regiment, and later for posing smilingly with a badge that contained the effigy of Ukrainian WW2 nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera in his right arm
Thank you, Poland!
We all could do with a great neighbour like Poland..and Estonia gave the highest Aid per gdp in 🌎 to 🇺🇦 , others like Lithuania,Latvia,Sweden,Finland..great support..in fact most of Europe clung together in Supporting 🇺🇦… great to see. hopefully a more unified/Stronger EU emerges…thanks Paul for another great video…💙💛🌎
Paul, your content is very unique. It's special and your dedication to it is always appreciated. Thank you.
Correct me if I'm wrong and Poland fought for democracy around the world. Polish Military in the Continental Army helped the fledgling United States defeat the British in our fight for independence. Thaddeus Kosciuszko was a Polish military engineer that helped design and build forts that thwarted the British on the Hudson River. Casimir Pulaski was instrumental in forming the Calvary of the Continental Army.. Bravo to Poland!!!
You are right !
West Point.
19:40 - yes, it was German finance minister Christian Lindner (FDP) speaking with Kuleba if I'm not wrong, and replying to his inquiring about implementing financial sanctions against Russia.
Thank you Paul!
All love to Poland! With you and the Baltic states on our southern flank against Russia it’s a walk in the park.. 🇫🇮❤️🇵🇱 🇺🇸 🇪🇪 🇱🇻 🇱🇹
To victory! 🇺🇦
Mr. Dębski's mention of revanchism is a very important point. Beating Russia on the battlefield is not the end of the war, it's just the end of one chapter of it, and the beginning of a whole new struggle to secure stability and peace in the future. Revanchism in a society of a defeated country was ignored once in the past, and it became a fertile ground for the birth of another totalitarian, aggressive regime that ultimately brought yet another World War into existence. It was Germany after WWI, and the society that bought the propaganda of a new movement that NSDAP was. We need to not make the same mistake again and allow the revanchism to grow, fester and rot among Russians, or it will ricochet and hit us in the face just like it did before in the XXth century. I'm not saying that we should turn a blind eye to any crimes and violations and the perpetrators thereof. On the contrary. The democratic world should show consistence, integrity and do not let anyone get away with criminal behaviour. But the ordinary people should not be left in the lurch by the decision makers stemming from democratic countries, or else they will never put trust in democracy to begin with.
I’m glad Poland is America’s friend. I hope we don’t piss them off.
You have been pissing us off for a long time. Most recently in 2021 when you and the Jews came to extort money from us unjustifiably. You got slapped and came back with nothing.
The intro music was a nice touch! Great work as always.

And made mostly by unions ( with now days Lithuania, Ukraina and in some times with Hungary).

kyivindependent.com/uncategorized/ambassador-says-german-minister-was-against-helping-ukraine-thought-it-would-fall-within-hours
@@apmassaro3 thank youuu
I'm convinced that Scholz was pissed that Zelensky chose to fight back and forced Germany to get off the gas gravy train . That's why he was so slow with help, and his few meetings with Zelensky are so obviously not warm the way other leaders hug and smile, etc. The words coming out of Germany in February 2022 were "it's not our conflict".
I saw a quote from Scholz along the lines that it would be "a great tragedy if Ukraine fell " but we can't do much about it. Everything that is said in this podcast is 100 percent right , we Poles saw it coming and we also saw how some countries were more than willing to sacrifice Ukrainians for their own interests, ignoring the fact that they were making deals with the devil. And when the refugees came, there was no cash coming from the EU for the longest time, we had to pay for it all ourselves.
I must disagree with Dębski on "it's their own business if they want to be authoritarian". Because even if an authoritarianism would only keep itself to the territory of the country it has been formed in, it would still be hurting and oppressing its own citizens. And I'm not OK with it either. Just like I'm not OK with the mindset of people from free, democratic countries spending their holidays in places like UAE, which do all sort of terrible things to its own people, but keep different standards for paying foreigners. If one would go further down that line, it would be comparable to Germans of the 30's and 40's of the XXth century enjoying themselves in swimming pools in Summer resorts built next to concentration and work camps with the hands of people incarcerated their for their sheer ethnicity, orientation or political views.
On the other hand I can see where he is coming from saying the above. Present Polish government is positioning itself on the side of Ukraine, which I find most commendable, but it's not doing it to promote freedom nor democracy, which it had gone to great lengths to suppress in Poland itself. It is supporting Ukraine, because it knows that if it hadn't, the Polish citizens would cart it out of the Sejm on Wiejska Str. and the President's Palace in wheelbarrows and dump it onto a pile of manure on the outskirts of Warsaw. The policy of Polish Government towards Ukraine is purely utilitarian and self-serving, and the main burden of humanitarian help is carried by the Polish NGOs an volunteers whose please for state support have mostly and broadly been ignored since the beginning of the refugee crisis after the beginning of Russia's full.scale invasion.
👍👍💖🇺🇦💖🇺🇸💖
Fantastic guest, as always! Would love to see some Hungarian expert here next time. EU+NATO member turning into THIS is embarrassing, but intriguing at the same time.
As an American, one of the things about Poland and actually most of the post-Soviet Countries, that I like is that they welcome the US and NATO with open arms. France and Germany hold us more at arms length even though the US spends the most money to keep Europe safe, Poland actually seems to appreciate the defense we will be able to provide if, God forbid, article 5 ever needs to be used in a war situation. And I am glad Poland and the Baltics have been ringing the alarm about Russia forever. I am a Cold War baby and even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, I never trusted them. I have also studied Russian history in depth so I knew that it was only a matter of time. I also saw the Oil/Gas blackmail coming for years. When Germany was going ahead with Nordstream II, I thought 'what the hell are they thinking to give Russia that much power over their energy'! I hope they have learned their lesson finally! The Leopard doesn't change his spots!
USA spends nothing on the French. If understood the history between France and USA especially the Suez canal incident. You would not be surprised. USA isn't not a reliable ally. Especially when USA purposefully undermines french defence contracts. Also airbus Vs Boeing dispute is in recent memory.
Also you USA was caught spying on eu governments only 5 years ago. Doesn't exactly make you trust the USA when tapped Angela Merkels phone.
@@murphy7801 You are correct about that. Not to minimize that but the US is not the only government that spies on friendly nations. Intelligence agencies spy on everyone which I’m sure they justify it by saying it’s necessary in order to get a complete picture. But it’s stupid and even worse when you get caught like China and Balloongate!
The Suez Crisis was an ill-advised move by England, who dragged France into it and somehow spun it so Israel would go along. It was Britain's last gasp at Colonialism. And you better believe if WWIII broke out, France would call the American's toot sweet. It's only because of the massive amount of stuff we have. Don't get me wrong, I am not some jingoistic MAGA person. I wish we had a smaller military footprint. Just think what this country could do for the common folk if that 900 Billion spent on defense each year went into National Health and free/low cost College! I dream of that. My daughter paid $1700. a year for college and that is while living at home. If she had to live at school, it would have been $30,000!
Thanks. Paul and Slawomir, for the great interview. Concerning help from the West against Russian aggression, I now see that if your soverign country is small, poor, "different" etc., it's not worth helping. Is this why Russian aggression has been tolerated until now?
I took the woooOoOook to Poland

If Russia dare to atack Poland, the Polish army will eat the orcs on a slice of bread. In the actual conditions, in a week they can reach to Moscow.
Greetings from Romania.
Ahaha 🤣
Unfortunately present native territories of various nations under the Kremlin government, oficially adressed as Russian Federation, are not 19th and earlier Poland. Poland under occupation and partitions of several of our neighbours was still a land with - apart from several ethnic and national minorities - a pretty unitary nation and culture with very strong identity, culture, language etc. Now, the ethnic non-Russian populations in RF had been to a great extent deculturized, and let's add the fact that partitioned and occupied Poland was not exposed to such treats as i.e. Islamic State, which is presently a serious threat to several territories of RF, should it fall apart. As much as I hate it, should Russian Federation fall apart and be divided into a number of new political and territorial entities, all the militant groups, terrorist organizations, (not to mention opportunistic thugs and new prospective dictators from among their own people) etc. in Asia and in th Middle East will rush to try to bite off chunks of its territory, resources and political power over whichever land and its inhabitants they could violently coerce into submission. And even if and where this won't be the case, the new political entities in place of former RF will face severe challenges on the way of securing itself enough economic independence to back their sovereignty, and most of them, if not all, are going to have to ally or maybe even become autonomous (if they're lucky) territories of their political neighbours. Some of which again have little to nothing in common with things like basic respect to the human rights and elementary dignity of people of different origins, and will probably use every opportunity to drain their new subjects' land of its resources and do all sort of nasty things to their people.
And in the worst case scenario, those new political entities might just as well proceed to jump at each other's throats in order to establish which scrap of land should belong to whom, and we are going to have another Balkan War, except in Asia.
God bless America 💪🇺🇸 Glory to Ukraine ♥️🇺🇦
Great content Paul with yet another great guest. Very informative, as always.
The former Soviet Republics know first hand what it's like to live under Russian rule; the majority of their Peoples' don't want that again. There's a significant portion of the Russian population that doesn't support this war, but Russian isn't a Democracy.
Russia still practices imperialism, and claims if anyone doesn't help is a Nazi or a traitor.
Putin is a former KGB agent, who holds a grip on domestic power with violence, intimidation.
Russia has had a successful misinformation/disinformation and it still operating. It's very active on Western social media and it's advanced.
Assassinations, invasions - Georgia, Crimea etc.. now an attempted full invasion.
The Kremlin couldn't even take part in the Olympics fairly, with state-sanctioned doping, involving steroids seeing them banned or sanctioned for a period of time. Interesting read.
He said it best "Russia either wins this war, or they lose"
There's a significant portion of Russians who don't support this war, but such different opinions aren't tolerated. He's right in saying that it's up to the Russian people, not others to decide their fate but we should those who are attacked.
NATO its Allies have, and should continue to support Ukraine. Stop the war of imperialism and aggression.
Peace has many supporters, including many Russians having the experience brutality first hand.
Peace can be anyone's friend, irrespective of nationality.
"Russia either wins this war, or they lose"
