Türkiye: moving forward in the European eco system

This event featured Türkiye’s Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek in conversation with Professor André Sapir, Senior Fellow at Bruegel and Hugh Pope, Chief of External Affairs of ACLED.
The conversation addressed the state of Türkiye's economy, including the macroeconomic stabilisation programme and the medium-term transformation of the Turkish economy. Additionally, we delved into the relationship between Türkiye and the EU, including the revitalisation of all high-level dialogues, upgrading of the customs union and the accession process.
