That inner panel is absolutely beautiful! Excellent job. You probably already know this but make sure your door hinges are new or at least tight or it will throw off the placement of your rocker.

Thanks Roger - much appreciated. I have a hinge re-build kit but wasn’t planning to do that now. Thanks for the tip - I’ll rebuild them first.

Thanks! Very Happy how it turned out. I boxed the ends today and started to weld it in. Then on to the driver’s side. Hopefully quicker the second time! 😂

Steel-It is great, you probably won't need subframe connectors.

Awesome job, clean and strong.. Just have a question. I am just getting started with a 69 camaro build ( my brother finally gave me his old car) and seems my rockers are pretty good. If not would it be easier for me to stiffen the rockers up (again i have welder etc but not your set of specialized metalworking tools) if i just purchased rockers for a convertible to put on my coupe. I was thinking would save time, stiffen it up (maybe not as much as yours) and save a lot of fab work on my part since there is allready stiffeners in the convertible rockers.

Yeah… I recently saw a cut away of a convertible rocker - very robust. I don’t have experience with it but if it fits the same it would definitely be stronger. Let me know how it works out. 👍
