  • This is a quick review of the Rolex Sea Dweller 16600. The watch was loaned to me for the review. As you can see in the video this watch has has a long and adventurous life and has the scars to prove it. It was great to go hand on with this one and compare it to my sub. The Deep see surprised me with how wearable it actually was. Thanks for watching!

Last of the vintage models that elude sport tool watch functionality. Nice light bracelet decent size for every day wear. Great review.

Thank you! It is surprisingly small. I always thought these were the size of the deep sea or somewhere around 44mm.

Just wanted to highlight the opening of the dive extension, it should be by pressing the circled link! You popped my heart when you popped it open! Be careful please 😁

You know I looked into this and it seems like you are right. The watch I had was so beat up that the circle wasn’t visible but I checked out the same model in better condition and the circle is very visible. The owner of the watch was unaware of the extension link marking as well. Luckily the extension on that watch is never used 👍🏼 #deskdiver

Where exactly is the circled link? Can’t seem to see it

My pelgaos is 43mm and perfect for my 8.5 wrist. I tried on a submariner and it looked silly too me. Do these SD fit bigger than they look due to Cass thick ness? I know it's 40mm like the submariner...

It just feels thicker. I have a sub and a pelagos and the sub is slim enough to be balanced, the Pelagos is light enough and the bracelet balances it out but this is a bit top heavy. It feels like a bit of a bubble on my wrist. It’s the same feel I get from steel planet oceans although they have bigger case dimensions. With an 8.5 the deep sea may fit you better. That’s a big wrist my man!
