@@Uryen_Hirasakai Well, I did play the game (kinda late because it was the Switch version but managed to get there with my prologue Arsène build). My question stems because of Yaldy erasing the Thieves like Thanos (sad looking clouds of dust to be exact), but not for that reason. Instead, shouldn't it be half of humanity like in Infinity War? As if, one half is aware of the fusion and they disappear because they're a threat, but the other is the ignorant masses letting it happen, but only the thieves are erased because their, while confidants can see the apocalypse, the Thieves are the only ones to fight, making them an obstacle to Yaldy.

I find it a little strange that Titania uses Nuclear Element, seeing as she's the Fairy Queen and well... Fairies are generally spirits of purity and nature... not nuclear wastelands.
I can see her using Psi based attacks as a willful queen, Rather than atom splitting attacks. XD

This is the first battle where I actually jammed out to the music while kicking the bosses ass. I think this song is PERFECT for elevating your mood so you feel more powerful while kicking ass! My favorite track on an already beautiful album.

@@PsychSoldier756 its a kind of prison where the cells are arranged in a circle, facing inwards, with a tower in the middle that the warden watches them all from. it basically gets the prisoners to surveil themselves bc they can never know when theyre being watched
Having seen what happens when you agree to work with the villain, I question why this is even happening? The "Join" ending shows that humanity not only has its free will, but the Phantom Thieves are still operating and inspiring man to become better people. So why is this happening? If the villain has a breakdown because you told him no, requiring a dungeon and boss fight, then wouldn't it be better to NOT piss off the villain?
SPOILERS
The Main Antagonist has been manipulating the "Game" for the entire time so he can take over the world and remove Free Will from humans. If the MC fails in anyway all free will are removed from humans and the only thing they can do is act the way the 'God" commands them to act. They may look like they have free will but they do not and they only act the way they act because they are commanded to act that way without question.
This follows up on the second part of the game's theme being how people put on Fake Mask in society to fit in and only acting in a way "Society" deems fit for them without any freedom to act as their True self.
Yaldabaoth is the most evil villain in all of Persona. He deserved that headshot. And he makes monotheistic religions, and angels in general, look bad.
Mystery ? I think it was moreso too, that it was a hypocrite. Like, in the final map, it believes itself to be God, and so the four archangels are its generals. But most of its shadows are these demons of death and destruction, ranging from Kali to penis chariot (mara)
Collective Consciousness would actually fit very well with the Holy Grail’s theme of control.

That grail is just plain wrong. If you subjugate people for long enough and keep treating them like they don't matter, eventually, they'll turn on you like rabid dogs. We're seeing this happen right now, in today's era.

I think you're both wrong.
Firstly, although the holy grail says that the people worshipping it are slaves, it also says that they chose to enslave themselves. They're the ones that value peace and comfort above all. They're the ones that feed the grail and give it the strength it has. They're the ones that prevented the grail's defeat.
Secondly, the grail didn't take anyone's free will either. Remember, it said that they chose to enslave themselves. But slaves by definition are in their position because they have no choice and so it's a fantasy for someone to "enslave themself". It's a form of role play where you merely pretend to have no choice. If they're choosing to remain there then they can also choose to leave. The only ones that can save them is themself.

But it's not a metaphor for social pressure. It's a metaphor for people's submission to laziness. Nobody's being bullied into anything. Nobody's been subjugated. Nobody's lost their free will. They just don't want to fight.
Every persona game starting with 3 has a theme. 5 is social pressure hence the feature of cell phones chat groups and the number of characters in focus.
The prison it's self is a further representation of sloth (as is shadow futaba) as part of the real final boss.
or to put it another way every ending to persona the big bad says they are acting on the will of humanity protagonists rise up beat them and the game ends.

Even the idea behind the fact, that the holy grail is made out of the people's desires and consumes them to power up himself fits perfectly. Nobody can tell me, that this boss wasn't inspired by the Fate-series!
Except Persona final bosses having the reoccurring theme of being born of mankinds own desires has been present since its conception. Everything is centered around the collective unconscious, and so everything, be it god or demon, traces itself to mankind as a whole.
Examples of prior final bosses sharing this aspect:
Nyarlathotep was the darkness harbored deep within mankind's subconscious, and is the source of the shadows, which also come from man's subconscious.
Nyx personifies the death that awaits all of man, and is called down to destroy the world by Erebus, who was born from the deep-seated desire to die that all humans at one point in their life feel within them without even realizing.
Izanami and Ameno Sagiri represents mankind's desire to turn away from the truth and blanket themselves in a fog of ignorance.
Ayo shoutout to Ann and Ryuji for combining attack up, enemy defense down, and charge/concentrate to do more than 2,000 damage in one attack

As someone who favours the jrpg genre, I think P5 would be a great place to start! The only drawback is that it's long, so you have to be dedicated.

It's not that hard. There's a lot of trial and error though trying to find enemy weaknesses. I like how you fight personas this time around instead of shadows like in persona 4 cause shadows weaknesses are usually inconsistent depending on the dungeon.

This, is where I felt like the game got too weird too fast. Weird isn't the problem, but in 4 there were breadcrumbs from Namatame to Akechi and so on. But EVERYTHING that was beyond the shadow versions of people got dumped here.
Yeah, because it wouldn’t really make sense being revealed earlier. The whole point is that they didn’t expect things to go the way they did after shido’s defeat and they don’t know why. It would make no sense to reveal to us what no one else in the game knows.

Takeshiair 2 bad 1 good the first one , you fail to give sae the phone during the interogation and so , akechi kills the real MC not the cognitive clone ,(this has 2 variations depending.on which castle you fail either akechi is shown as mysterious man or akechi ). The second bad ending is when you take the fake igor's deal and choose to let him enslave humanity , and third if you refuse the fake igor's deal which leads to only one path(the happy ending)
