My feeling is she fainted because as soon as she tried to speak up about folding laundry, he challenged her on it instead of accepting that she was doing more than others. He is very controlling and obviously was conscious of the cameras the whole time and how he would be perceived, as was the mother. I think the only reason these parents agreed for their family to be on the show was for the money and nothing to do with fixing things in their family.

Some of the worst abusers have been so sucked into their own excuse-making and justifications that they genuinely believe other people will make the same excuses for them.

From what I've seen from other comments, I believe after the show the parents were investigated for child neglect and both eventually divorced. The oldest got into the military and now has three kids and is married. Brittany also lives close to the mom. The youngest, Moriah, moved to either California or New York and is married. As for the boys, they either grew up with their parents or something like that. Again, I'm not sure if this is completely true, but I believe there's an interview of both sisters all grown up, so you can search and check it out. Hope this helped!
