When the girls mum said “what did you learn about how you should treat your mum” completely shows the problem, the issue is with the parents and that reflects on the kids, it’s not about how she treats her parents, it’s about their parenting. Really they should send the parents on these trips 😂

@Alec9821 I mean I get your point but I think that's a little harsh. The whole point of the show is to get an attitude adjustment to bratty young adults... I think the mom phrased that sentiment very personally but did you hear how the daughter spoke to her in the beginning.

Somehow it is so sad that after one week away from their families these kids blossom up so much - just imagine how toxic and depressing their familiy life must have been. And i can totally relate. I loved and after ten years still love my guest family in another country far more than my real one.
Yeah, family is not blood related, but family is when you need them, they are there to help you. suffering together and rejoicing together. it's always there.
I agree. I love how they focus so much on the kids yet: what about the parents, their lack of parenting skills & nutrurkng, and anything toxic from their end? Also, where is Harry's positive father figure? Hhmmmm.

Exactly, my parents were rather strict too but I remember more shouting... This family feels super respectful and everyone knows what is expected of them
yea, good parenting
not true at all. being really strict is how kids learn to hide things, and grow into manipulative people. they learn how to lie
yelling isn't key, getting mad isn't key, teaching and learning if they don't keep trying if they still don't. that's when consequences star pouring in, if they get mad help them calm and redirect. don't reward, don't yell.
